Ah. If I was a coder, I'd do it, but I'm not. :P
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

I can edit the topic--any suggestions on a new title?

I'll say: TSL is lucky to have a defender like The Hero to stand up for it.

Is IA looking for defenders? I can be your public representative.

Fierce Deity says, "Infamous Adventures is the S***! Spread the Word!"  ;D

I also want to say, there is nothing wrong with defending the project, but it does seem like the constructive feedback is taking its toll on the "defenders". I think it's important for people to share their criticisms with the team, and I also think it's important for people to boost the morale of the team. It's when both sides collide that these kind of conflicts can explode into a fiery inferno of aggressive remarks.

Another thing that needs to be mentioned is Lambonius' satirical demeanor when commenting on the project. A smart alec, he may be, but nothing more needs to be said. Maybe it would benefit all parties if Lambonius put into his sig, "Caution: Post may contain sarcasm."  :P

Look, I've never had any problems with the game period.  I was just happy to see KQ continued in some form.  But I agree that the feedback has made the game MUCH better from episode 1 to episode 2.  Feedback is essential not only for TSL, but when Phoenix does projects in the future I'm sure. In the beginning, they stated they were learning the game making process. Now they are getting a picture of what fans think. In terms of making commercial titles, the feedback is good, even when it is "bad".  But I believe that critiques need to be stated respectfully, and on this forum they aren't always, especially with topics like "Is narrator new cedric?". I would say its half funny, half disrespect, so I have to agree with Hero on this.  And there ARE people who just try to cause problems and get people agitated on the forums. Its childish, but hey.  Not much to do with people like this.

As far as puzzles, which were an essential part of old kings quest, I've given my opinion elsewhere.  It seems that you have people saying "its about the story" and "Its about the puzzles".  At this point, I just want to see the story finished.  I stopped playing KQ in 1992, I was in grade school.  But if TSL team wants to wait to add more stuff to TSL, I'm cool with that, even if it's past December.  And I've had, in my opinion, minor critiques of the game, but by no means had any problems or "have to be solved" issues. To each their own as long as its respectful.

I am all for constructive but when compare the narrator to Cedric and start a whole thread about a actors vocak issues like lisps  its even gotten to the point where someone has  made a downgraded rip of TSL the staff even made a poll  to satisfy the people by voting for the wort narrtion lines come om guys enough is enough do you sll see what i mean now

It's a 2d AGS version.  seems like a cool project actually as long as it gets rid of the copied voice acting and stuff.  I think the guy said he wanted to do that anyway.  I bet it won't get released due to legal issues but it is still a cool idea.  VGA is always fun, evenn though the 3d TSL is beautiful IMO

They don't have the right to stop a game like that.

By that logic, The KQ1-3 remakes should not have been made.

it is a fan project.  Whether the creator likes TSL, its direction or anything else or how disrespectful he may be is entirely unrelated.

Maybe the VGA project will end up re writing some things and we will end up with yet another KQ fangame.  The graphics in the game are pretty well done, and the leader doesn't like TSL, so maybe he will tell the story in a different way that will be equally fun.

As I've said before, I'd be surprised if that game gets completed. His interest seem to go from making a mock-game to outright mocking and then apparently it has died off since he got banned from at least one forum.

But let's try not to get into another lengthy discussion of that yet again! :)

I'd also like to add that he did not release his second demo upon the release of Episode 2 as he said he would, and has still yet to do so...

But I don't wish to talk about this either. Someone change the subject.

A cute webcomic!

Which also has nothing to do with the thread title, so um...also yay TSL! :D

ETA: Oh I know. We got a new review in...and this one actually likes the narrator! It was refreshing to read that. :)
