Shakira --why not?

I bought Shakira's new album "Sale el sol". GREAT album, more like her rock stuff from the 90s, and mostly spanish. And tons of Latin beats. I listened to punk rock for so long, I never thought I would get into much else again.  But I really like this cd. Anyone heard "pies descalzos" or "donde estan las ladrones"? Great albums. I've been told the group mana is good as well.  Anyone recommend other spanish rock?

I just realize I posted UFC and Shakira topics.  I'd say that's pretty well rounded. I can talk UFC with my friends all day long, but GOD FORBID I play Shakira in the car, like it's some blow to manliness.  Forget that!  They all have machismo problems.  A great way to keep up with spanish language as well.

I like Shakira. I liked her more when she wasn't so international, and I'd get to hear her on the radio in Venezuela. But she's still cool, just a little too commercialized.
