To start some conversation going (:P to you Tierra-board doubters!)

What do you do in real life? You know, job, family, etc, tell us about the REAL you!

I live near Boston, MA in USA, and I am unforutnately unemployed, currently in an unsatisfactory temp job that I dislike very much so, and trying my damnedest to get an interesting full-time job!

I also take improv classes, play RPGs (D&D), post pointless entires on LiveJournal, and hang with my friends a whole lot.

Oo! And I'll be 23 next month:)

I live in a small town, called 'Voortkapel', which is part of 'Westerlo', part of the 'Provincie Antwerpen', part of Flanders, part of Belgium. Clear enough? :D

I am full-time employed, working for a company subsidised (?) by the Flemish government. So, in a way, I work for the Flemish government. In a way, I'm also paid by the Flemish government to do my work. It pays the company, and the company pays me (ofcourse that is not a 1-on-1-relation, it is a 1-on-n-relation, the company gets a large sum and part of it is for my salary).

I play adventures, adventures, and more adventures, (occasionally an RPG, and more specific Fallout(2)) I post on several forums, and I have extensive e-mail conversations with a certain person.

I'll reach the dreadful age of...

30 :o in November.

I turned 19 in January.  I live about 30 miles North of Boston, about 10 minutes drive from the NH border.  I work part-time (20-25 hours a week) in a retail drug store, mostly as a photo-lab tech.

*I feel so small!*

I'm 17, I turn 18 at the end of June.  I live in a small town in the South West of England.  I work part time (12 hours a week, but sometimes more) in a supermarket as a cashier, and I'm a full-time college student, studying Art.

I live in a semi-detached, 5 bedroom house with my mum, dad, brother, nan and uncle.  My nan and uncle live in the annexe bit under a different address.  We own 4 cars, and everyone claims that we're rich, but we're not really.  I also have a pet cat, called Herman.

My hobbies include the Internet, playing video games, reading and drawing.  I sometimes play the flute, but I gave up on lessons after 5 years or so.  I'm also learning to drive.

I have a boyfriend who lives way over in California, I've been with him for nearly 16 months, and I'm going over to see him for my birthday.

So yeah...  That's about it.

Curiosity drives me Mango - how did you meet a boyfriend of 16 months who lives in California if you're in England?

Hello (my first post here).

Hi, Daeyr, here is the expected reply:

I'm turning 17 this coming summer. I'm a student, in the eleventh grade. I live in Israel, close to Tel-Aviv. I'll join the army in approximately 1 year and 2 months.

My favorite TV shows are: Yes, Minister!; Yes, Prime Minister!; Babylon 5; Deep Space 9; He-Man (yeah, He-Man! :P); Dungeons and Dragons; The Guardian.

IMO, the best themes are found in computer games.

Is this OK, Daeyr? I hope you are not mad for stealing your topic. It is just a wonderful idea for a topic, aimed for all.

Ah...  Heheheh ^^;;  I kinda met him through the wonders of the Internet.  Lol, I know everyone ends up being ":O:O:O:O:O HES GONNA BE A 63 YEAR OLD PERV", but people are a bit O_o

Please excuse me whilst I wake myself up.

I'm 19 in 3 months, I now have a job at UPS, $10 an hour (but only 5 hours a day, darnit, I wanted to work fulltime but they only need me for the afternoon). I play games a lot, read a lot, and I finished reading the Rhapsody trilogy recently (very very good for avid readers of fantasy). I watch movies from time to time, love anime and manga (though consumption has dropped a bit since my new job) and I am going to live in an apartment on campus next semester, with kitchen and everything. :) Of course, everyone here already know I'm single and have been forever, but I'll keep you guys posted if I ever find a girlfriend. Also, I got into Mensa recently, I am very happy about that. ;D I have also been elected Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus college council at GMU, and am both excited and frightened at the responisbilities I will take on. Another random thing is that I came close to getting a perfect formula for pi recently, but it wasn', though I think I am still very very close. And finally, I am working towards catching up with Say, even though she's 300 posts ahead of me. ;)

I'm 19 years old (I'll be 20 next February) and I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I'm currently a college student at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, which is about a three hour drive from Houston and a 30 minute drive from the capital of Austin. I'm currently a theatre major with a focus on a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the field of Acting. I play drums in a band, write for KQ9 and my own smaller projects, I just recently started keeping a Blog (http://thelongwayhome.blogspot.com), and I have a wonderful girlfriend of nearly 10 months named Amanda who I'm going to go see in a couple of hours. I'm going to get a job as a waiter at a local Mexican resturant, and when I return to San Marcos in the Fall I hope to get a job as a reporter for the school paper.

There ya go, that's my life. Take it easy. :)

Heehee... I am 19 years old, working in a small local resturant just so I can buy my art supplies. I was born in Hawaii but had to move to California, I am currently going to college and I have no idea what to major in. Probably something art or zoology related.

There is a Large Cat reserve in the hills in my area. They raise animals like Lions and Tigers. I have been meaning to go as well. ^_^

I just turned 21 two weeks ago, and although that's some huge drinking age in USA, over here in Ontario it's 19.  So 21 actually isn't a huge milestone for me.  Right now I'm in Ottawa (the nation's capital) but I'm originally from a suburb close to Toronto.  I'm a student taking Software Engineering and this fall I'll be starting 3rd year.  ;D

I have a part-time job that pays well for the work I'm doing there (word processing and internet research).  I've been trying to get a co-op job since January but still haven't thus far, and doubt I will in the next 3 weeks.  When that time comes, I'll probably be looking for another job.  :o

My interests include computers, the Internet, software, music and tv.  When I'm hanging out with friends I like slackin in malls, watchin movies, playin pool, bowling and sometimes even singing some karaoke! ::) I've been into adventure games for years but stopped after KQ7.  I just recently decided to get back into them, leading me to this site approximately a month ago. :)
