Hello I have not been on this board for a while and just received a Phoenix on-line newsletter from you
guys. But it turned out to be basically a blank page. It had an attachment which I scanned and opened. Which I
think says powered by phplist Just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience?

This happened to me back when I was using Hotmail, but now with Gmail it seems to work. Anyways, here's the newsletter you missed:

QuoteHello everyone!

Episode 3 Updates, Job Openings, and the Four Winds

The team is working hard on Episode 3--we've been recruiting some great new animators, throwing them right in, and they've been doing some great work! We still have openings for Animators and other positions, check out the Jobs page for details if you're interested in volunteering with us. While there is not yet a final release date, we're still very optimistic that Episode 3 will be out by Christmas, and we're even more excited about this one than Episodes 1 and 2. More puzzles, more mystery, more new characters to meet and settings to explore!

But don't think the rest of the team is slacking in the meantime; far from it! Programmers are hard at work, as are our artists, and Cesar has taken up residence on Rich's couch up in Montreal for the month to tackle Episode 3 full force. They'll be joined later on this month by Ryan Yoo and Katie Hallahan as well, who among other things have been working hard on bringing more articles with all the latest news from the world of Daventry in the Four Winds, Volume 3. Read all about it!

Two New Contests

Not only is the team keeping busy, we're putting our fans to work too! After the fun and success of our Got Suffer? and Whistle While You Quest contests--in which the winners of both contests are receiving surprise prizes of a "Suffer Lining" mousepad and a special two-disc CD collection of the soundtrack for Episodes I and II--we've got two more contests this month to challenge your creative talents!

First up is TSL All Year Round: The Calendar Contest! We're putting together an official 2011 Calendar full of images from The Silver Lining, concept art, screenshots, and even custom pieces, running the gambit from scenes you've seen and brand new ones you won't see anywhere else. Since there would be no TSL without the fans, there just couldn't be a calendar without the fans either! We've set aside the months of July and March for fan submitted art featuring characters and/or settings from The Silver Lining. Head over to our blog to read the details and submit your entries to contests@postudios.com before November 26th. Finalists will be selected, and then the final vote on the two winners will be in the hands of you, the fans, so don't forget to come by the forums to vote for your favorites! All finalists will receive copies of the calendar, and fans will vote for the winners who will be featured in the calendar itself!

Second, the In-suffer-able Companions Contest! In our Got Suffer? contest, you searched (and found!) for that smug, laughing Suffer in Episode 2, that obnoxious smiley who always knows something you don't. Now we want to you to introduce us to his friends and family! Design an image of another Suffer: a friend, a sibling, an Evil (or Good?) Twin, a sidekick, you name it! Submit your designs to contests@postudios.com before November 26th. The winning Suffer will not only be featured in Episode 3, but also receive a Suffer Lining mousepad featuring either the original or the new Holiday design! Read the details and see the Holiday Suffer design at our blog.

We're looking forward to seeing your creativity in action once again!

As always, thank you for your support of Phoenix Online and The Silver Lining, and stay tuned for news on Episode 3!

Thank you kindofdoon for the newsletter information. I don't know why the message didn't come out properly.   I don't have hotmail and I have never had a problem before.

You're welcome. You should post in Tech Support if you want more help with the problem.

I have e-mail through my ISP and forwarded to Outlook and I have the same problem. I reported it a while back but I don't think a solution was ever found.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Yeah I'm not really sure exactly what causes it - I get this via two different hotmail accounts and an outlook account, and only one of the hotmail accounts shows up blank.  I'll have to take a look at the settings later to see if I can figure out why.
