Hooray! My birthday is on the 27th; what a great birthday present! :D
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Ha, I thought it was a giant crow at first until I looked closer. Yay Night Mare! :D

EDIT: Wait...is that Night Mare?

EDIT 2: Hah...no, it's a bird after all. In that case...Graham, watch out! A POIsonous bird!

That would be some serious creative license if that was Nightmare, LOL.

Haha, no it's not a Nightmare. A giant crow is a much closer guess. :)

No, not a nightmare. Night Mare, as in Samhain's horse.
But yeah, I looked and saw a crow, then I looked again and saw Night Mare, then I looked a third time and saw the talon. :P

Yes. That's what I thought I saw.

Indeed!

I'm particularly excited about the "Giant Crow" because it's a character/encounter that was among the first I came up with when I started working on the script with Cez. And she's finally going to be seen and interacted with!

As long as I don't have to go searching for a golden bridle in any beached shipwrecks so we can ride it, then I look forward to it! :)

Hmmm... I suppose that would be one way of getting to the Winged Ones' city. :P

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why the time between the announcement of the release date and the actual release date is so long (6 or so weeks) when for episode 2 the time between the 2 was under a week.

I am not complaining, just curious as to how you could determine the release date so far out.
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

For one thing, we were originally saying that we wanted to have this episode out by the end of December and we didn't want to leave people hanging.  It would have been great to finish it by then but moving it to January gives us more breathing room and time to get things done really well.

If they're practicing good project management (which I would assume they are as they have a project manager on staff) then they should have a fair idea as to how long it's going to take for them to complete the rest of the work.
Besides, it's really only about a month and a half away. It seems longer because of the date being in the new year.

All true facts :) Also with Episode 2, we wanted to kid of surprise the fans with not just announcing it'd release 'soon' but almost immediately. With this one, just a different approach, based on things like what Weldon already mentioned. Plus we had the date picked out, and we were announcing things like the soundtrack & e-cards, so we figured we may as well have the release date in there as well.
