No one should ever be afraid to be themselves! I'm proud to be who I am, and I still get teased and made fun of for being who I am. But you know what? Despite the way I get treated, I hang in there, and refuse to change in the wind of popular opinion. I'd rather stand out and be unique than be another nameless automaton.

-A Golden Snitch with the words "Mischief Managed" on my left hip (I'm also a Harry Potter nerd)
-A Care Bear riding a My Little Pony on my right hip
-The words "Aslan is on the move" on my left foot (Which translates to: Jesus is working in my life.)

I have no tattoos, though I've been vaguely considering one for a while. I'm not sure I'd really want to get something permanently on me, though. If I did, however, it would be this:



For a number of reasons. Yes, that's the Elven Leaf from LotR. Don't know where I'd get it either, though.

If I were to tattoo myself, I'd go with the Suffer. I mean, it expresses many things in one: I love using the sadistic little guy (since joining the team, I've been turned to the dark side...), I love TSL, I love King's Quest, and that's about all I can think of... But the idea of needles creeps me out, and the idea of one permanently sticking ink in my skin creeps me out even more... But tattoos look awesome when they're done.

I don't think I'd get that....but I've also vaguely thought about a Phoenix tattoo. Not necessarily the Phoenix logo, but the mythological bird. I love the creature in mythology, I love the imagery and symbolism of it, and it's a sort of theme/image that's popped up in more than one place in my life.

But for now, I remain a proud, petite, nerd girl who role-plays and takes jiu jitsu and makes computer games and writes! w00t!

Did you just say the sims... *twitches* I need to call my sponsor from simaholics anonymous now... gah all those building options... And customization.... *runs off to play the sims for the next 275 hours straight without food and water in between...* I don't have an addiction... I don't have an addiction... I missed my sim child's 5th birthday... How could I? I'm such a terrible father... *continues to talk to self*

I forgot to take my medicine but after 12 hours of play time, I think I can make it through the night. *starts to mumble to herself* Must not turn on computer...but losing battle.

I'm proud to be a nerd who wears glasses sometimes, loves video games, and gets interested in way too many things at once.

By the way, I've been Sim free for two years, one month, and four days.  I've tried to stay on the bandwagon, and the fact that my computer doesn't have the 6 GB to spare for all of the expansions certainly helps.  But I still get the itch to build comfortable, affordable housing with psychedelic carpet patterns and trying to import my own models for custom hair styles.
