KQ6 Enhanced and file viewing?

So going through the resource files I found a close up portrait off the genie. Does that appear anywhere in the game? I wonder if they did an enhanced version of the closeup portrait?

I don't recall there ever being a portrait of the genie in any version of the game... Granted, I'm nowhere near finishing the enhanced version...

I'm pretty sure it appears in the endgame sequence right before the showdown with Alhazared.  The genie has a couple lines of dialogue in that scene anyway.  That'd be the most likely place.  You'll have to double check though.

I can't believe it! It's... Unheard of!  just messin with ya man.

There are lots of things hidden in the bowels of the KQ files that I do not know, . The behind the scenes stuff is fascinating.

All the KQ6 enhanced hi-res Windows character portraits are contained in a subfolder called "Actors." Judging from the filenames, they didn't bother creating a hi-res Shamir portrait. So the low-res DOS portrait of the Genie that's hidden in the resource files is probably the only one that was made.
