I just had my hair trimmed and it's tweaking me out.   I had my sister do it (she's an amazing haircutter) and she said it was pretty damaged, so she cut off like 2 inches.    It had to be done...but I'm feeling all deflated and ugh.  It's always sad to see the pile of hair on the floor!

Yep, that's me. I'm a bad bad boy. Santa wouldn't even give me a lump of coal I'm so bad. But, the class is three hours long and come on, it's math. I hate math. In fact, I don't like Jimmy Buffet much, but there is one song by him I love: Math Sucks. It defines my hate for math in one song.

Slightly off-topic: I accidentally wrote love instead of hate two lines up when speaking of math... That would have been a fail and completely contradictory to my attitude towards math...

I could talk of how much I hate it for years on end.  I could write an epic novel of my hate of math.  Math and I are not friends, not even a little cordial to each other.  There's a block in my brain where the math/logical side should be, and math is the reason I don't even have my Associate of Arts degree yet. 

Oh no.  I've depressed myself.

I'm very happy to learn that I'm not the only person who has a very passionate hate for math. In my math class, the teacher asked if anyone liked it. One kid raised his hand. I'm pretty sure some of the kids are gonna beat him up in alleyway behind the school one of these days...

"two plus two equals my FIST! And we'll use the distributive property on your face! Math can kiss my Angle-Side-Side! (I stole that from facebook actually... But it's a nice geometry reference... Oh how I hated Geometry... The fact that I got that joke is even more depressing...)"

I hate math, too.  And as an adult in the real world, now, I can honestly say that I do not use 95% of the junk they made us do in math classes as children. 

Plus, when I was in school, they barely let us use calculators.  Now, I think every child is required to know how to use one at all times!

I understand that math and sciences are paramount to our development as a species, but not every one of us is going to be Steven Hawking.  Let it go after a certain point.

Right now I'm sporting a mustache, sideburns and stubble...I had a beard growing but stupidely cut it off and shaved everything but the mustache and sideburns. My mustache grows slowly as do my sideburns so I decided to just keep them and let the rest grow in.

So I'm going for the "Long hair, beard" Jim Morrison look.
