Ah, okay. I didn't know you could do it before they drop anchor; interesting.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Arkillian

Thanks; I've always found my laugh to be fairly cringe-inducing, so I try not to do it as much as possible. :P

Yeah, even though it breaks the original continuity with KQIV, IA's remake putting some time in between Alex's return and the hat toss was more realistic.

Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying them! :)

You said it at 22.30 on part 4 when Manannan demands that you 'fix' him something. You go "I'll fix you..." I loled.

I find the heheh cute, but it probably would get a little annoying after a while. Don't panic about it too much though :)

Yeah- I noticed that IA put alot of extra plot in. I guess the old versions didn't have the disk space for that. I like seeing some breather gap between things. It makes it more tolerable to watch now that there is something to fill that gap.

Heh. I did, didn't I? ^_^ I tend to say whatever comes to my mind, since nothing's scripted beforehand.

Aww. ;]
It helps me personally to remember that I'm not a professional voice or anything, so I'm going to sound...odd sometimes. I still try not to be lazy about it, but it helps me relax. I was really self-conscious when I started doing this and by the time I got to KQIII I was more relaxed.

Perhaps, but even a simple cut to black with a dialog box in between marking the passage of time would have sufficed. But, ah well.

Word- I'm terrible with voice acting cause of confidence. I don't sound too bad when I relax, but otherwise I'm very strained. I'd like to try doing a 'Lets play' to see how I go with it- get use to voice acting. I did this meme a while ago, and I noticed that at first I was really tense, but I got better as I relaxed. I think I'm better at impromptu like this

Voice acting is really difficult to do T.T I hear you.

Enchantermon

Acceeeeent! ;D
Yeah, you really should try doing Let's Plays sometime; you've got a good voice for it (imo). And you're right; the impromptu thing was really good as far as being loose and relaxed.

Arkillian

How do you do it? O.o I could try it with TSL part 3...

Enchantermon

I use the registered version of Fraps (37 USD) for recording. I was using Camtasia, but couldn't afford to pay $300 for it after the 30-day trial period. :P Anything that uses DirectX or OpenGL for rendering can be recorded by Fraps. It also records the in-game sound as well as microphone input.

Arkillian

That's still alot of money for me for some fun O.O NZD is double that. Maybe not then ^^;

Enchantermon

Oh wow. :-\
There's a free program called Camstudio that you can try; I used it for my KQI LP. It's not the best, but it should work okay if you want to do games that use fairly minimal resources (like DOS games). It doesn't work well for graphically demanding stuff like TSL, though.

Arkillian

T.T I'd really want to be doing TSL 3 if I did it. Why is it no good for that? Does it lag the game? OR miss out on graphics or something?

Enchantermon

It's too laggy, at least on my computer. Camstudio isn't the best video capture program in the world; I recorded a small snippet of TSL and there were a lot of dropped frames, so it looked choppy.

What's your computer specs?

Enchantermon

Windows 7 32-bit, 1.66 GHz Centrino Duo, nVidia 7300 Go 4GB RAM (really 3.5-ish, since my CPU is 32-bit). It's not the fastest computer in the world, but TSL runs perfectly on it.

Hmmm... I run Windows XP, 2.4 duo core, Asus ATI Radeon HD 5400 video card. 2GB ram, 1TB hard drive.... My computer is more speced for art than games, and my memory could use an upgrade... when the rest of my computer needs to cause my motherboard wont allow more... besides my memory, I could try it ^^; Is it free to use?

Enchantermon

Yup, completely. Here's a link.
Oh, right, I almost forgot...the other reason I stopped using it was because it occasionally would crash while saving the video file, resulting in me losing 15 minutes of work. :P

Arkillian

OK- I'll give it a go when I find my mike and see how I go at TSL 1 perhaps? I hope I don't fangirl it too much ^^; I probably will ^^;

Enchantermon

Lol. I look forward to seeing it! :)
