Anyone else here love gangster movies?
I'm loving the movie True Romance. Great movie. Tarantino script, ensemble cast, lotsa violence and grit.

GREAT TOPIC. Yes, I love gangster movies. Obviously the godfathers, goodfellas, casino, bronx tale, etc...
There's quite a few.  I just got an Italian movie called Gomorrah that takes places in Naples italy about the mob. It came out in 2008. Its supposed to be really good, won some awards. Also it's a Martin Scorcese film, so you know it will be good. Il Divo is another Italian one about the politician Andreotti, the real life person who the character Don Luccesi was modeled after in Godfather 3. Interesting movie, but not action packed. But that fact that its true is cool.  Not to mention I'm going to Italy in a month!  I also recommend a REAL FUNNY italian gangster comedy called "Johnny Stecchino". I can't find it anywhere anymore, at least not with English subtitles. 

So many good movies...  I also played the game Mafia 2, REALLY GOOD. I got it off of steam for 10 bucks. not bad.
I just wish I knew of some real good Italian movies that are non gang related.  I know they exist, I've seen some, I just dont know much about Italian cinema as far as whats good and whats not.  Most of the stuff I'm familiar with is mafia related.
