There are even a few differences between American English and Canadian English.

English is such a colourful languange.

Isn't "honour" the Canadian spelling of that word as well? ;D

Are you sure Canadian English was not derived from the American version?

I'm pretty sure that Canadian English is derived from British English since Canada was populated by Europeans...though mainly the French, right?  I am SO horrible at geography and that part of history!  (take what I say with a grain of salt!)

Oh, stop being so technical...BTW, we fought for our independance from England...I don't know about Canada, but either they haven't or they did quite a while after we did.  Somone provide me with the right answer, please!

Hey,NO...Canadian is derived from British...First French came and Then British took over so French are now a minority in a way. And the truth is Americans are a totally new story from Canadians...Canadians were in a way the leftovers of the American Revolution...LOYALISTS...

Koko....

Never said I didn't like history...just I have a hard time keeping it straight.  I believe in another post, I said something along the lines of that I find a few parts of history that I just become obsessed with it.  The example I gave was with the Romanovs of Russia, mainly Czar Nicolas and Czarina Alexandria!

koko_99_2001

I think it's give and get...don't remember where it came from, but remembering "it is more blessed to give than to receive"...
