We have been merged together a bit, for example, in the joystiq article, where I'm glad AGDI got the screenshots. We are not trying to compete, we are just trying to release what we promised.

Yeah--AGDI and Phoenix are still very much two separate entities. Coverage of both KQ3R and TSL Ep 3 were done together in the article Cez was talking about is all.

Ok woah I guess I'll need to read through the whole thread but what of IA version of KQIII? Any relation here?. While I'll be happy to get one from AGDI, it just seems like something of a repetion?? I'm just confused, not unhappy.
At this point I'd personally like to see KQ4 remade but I'm guessing it may not be possible or warranted at all.

But this remake would be something to look forward to anyway. I very much appreciate AGDI works and the guys over at IA have a nicew project under way it seems too.

And frankly, AGDI can remake as many as they'd like. I'll play all of them. I really like what they've done with their games. The added plot has been great

It does seem to be a little redundant, but it will be different than IA's version because it will tie into the KQ2+ story. Plus, AGDI started development on it before IA's version was started and released, they just didn't tell anyone until recently.

There is at least one group working on a KQ4 remake, Magic Mirror Games, and possibly another group making one as well, but I'm not entirely certain of that.

It could be the exact same friggin' game as ours but with different artwork and I'd still play it.  I don't understand people being confused.  These are all fan games after all.  It's not like there are any rules or that we're all working together to make a "complete" Sierra VGA remake catalog.

I was just commenting. Maybe confused was a bad choice of words.. I just saw it as a bit redundant but will be happy to see how that project plays out. I will certainly not disagree- I'll be happy to get more King's Quest.

I'm certainly not as dedicated as this community and visit this forums only from time to time,  more often than not anonymously and closer to release dates but nonetheless KQ occupies a special place in my memories and I'm surprised and glad to see how strong these efforts always seem to be growing.

Just as strongly as you may feel about all of these projects, I do about my research which occupies most of my time these days. Taking occasional break for a trip down the memory lane courtesy of wonderful passionate people such as yourselves is just an extra touch of sunshine.

there's MMGames, and there is also one person on the AGS forums, nightfable.  I think nightfable should join MMGames, because fan games usually have a hard time getting completed and that wuld be redundant
