Uh- anyone heard of a glomp before? Imagine that with MANY people. That's called a dogpile. IT's... an otaku thing I guess T.T I go to alot of conventions ^^; It's what fans do to people that cosplay as their favourite characters

CONVENTIONS FTW! I'm so looking forward to Anime Boston this year... Unfortunately, it's a little out of your way, but it's a really cool convention. I've been going to it since middle school.

Most conventions are out of my way >.> I only have a few in New Zealand. There's Armageddon, Doujin Overload, Battlecry, and a few other small ones I'm yet to hear of. I'm going to an Aussie one this year at some point, but America- One day I'll go to one. I'd be going to an Anime expo likely though. I have some close friends in California.

Technically, yes. In conventions, people do it as a positive thing. I was first introduced to Vic Mignogna- the voice actor of many anime characters including Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. At conventions, he allows dogpiles and in America they can get over 10 people easily. He's pretty cool like that. Alot of people and cons outrule glomping though cause it violates personal space.
