If I may ask, why are you calling it "chezz", B'rrr?

Chess pieces living in a chess piece shaped castle. Wouldn't that be like us living in homes shaped like people?

i was thinking of that too.... and i look forward to your speculations about it (ie. how the town should look like ; ) ...I haven't seen chezzpersons of every chezzpiece so it still could work ...i mean that some pices are houses instead of ppl. not likely though... but it could be ; )

Bah, I'm just a stickler for proper spelling.

KatieHal

What?? Of course there is!! There is a proper way of spelling things when you're NOT on the internet, why shouldn't there be ON the internet?

There are more typos and accepted slang terms, but that's no excuse for just claiming it's okay to be ignorant of *correct* spelling. After all, you're going to have to know how to speak and write correctly for the rest of your life, why not put it into practice in the place most of us use most often (aka the internet)?

haha, thank you Fatali for proving my point ;-)

Generally misspelling things happens! I do it, I know I do. ANd there are always those few words everyone gets wrong at one point or another: definite (definate), congratulations(congradulations), etc.

It's always been a huge pet peeve of mine when people spell incorrectly on the Internet and claim it doesn't matter.

Mary Jane

I really do suck at spelling. People learned to not ask me how to spell stuff at school several years ago.

Acronyms are a different thing entirely; and yes, since typing faster is really kind of necessary, I don't have much of a problem with those.

But things like just plain not caring about the spelling or grammar I hate, as well as things like "u" "4" etc. My most hated one is some people I know type "wut" instead of "what"....wtf?!? It's one letter of difference to stop yourself from sounding like a total idiot!! ACK!!

Ahem. Yeah, so...yeah.

I've seen so many variations on the word "thanks"!  !!!
There's "thanks", "thankz", "thnx", "thx", "ta", "tq", "ty", etc.  ;D

Heh, I use the "u" one quite a lot, and "r" instead of "are".  Back in the IRC days it used to be pretty funny:

"r u m or f?"
"oic, lol wtf r u?"

Heh, any normal person looking at that would just see a bunch of random letters. :P
