Ya see, sleep debt is like bank debt:

* If you accumulate too much sleep debt, you go bankrupt and get forced to go through a period of liquidation.

* When you're paying back the sleep debt, you get charged interest.

* When the debt is paid off, you have no additional fees, and if you avoid further debt you start to accrue the benefits of being solvent.

True... but you can be more effective and productive during the time you do have available... and you won't risk the loss of productivity caused by the liquidation period.
