Call/e-mail the girl!   If she thinks your creepy, you'll just have to prove to her that you're not.  (unless you really are. :D)
In other words:  It's an opportunity...take it.  If you fail, move on.  If it works, Huzzah!

The BAD: Haven't been able to get a hold of ANYONE about my benefits/termination/etc. :P

Bad things:

The fact that I get tummy-grumbly and low-blood-sugar hungry every 2 to 3 freakin' hours. Makes trying to work effectively almost impossible.

The fact that partly due to my depression, and partly due to my damn stomach, I'm *always* tired. Makes it impossible to concentrate properly both at work and at home. Also makes it so that I have to go to bed when I get home, and then be awake at weird hours, like right now. :P

The fact that I have acne everywhere and it won't go away!

The fact that my ears are getting clogged with wax again and are starting to itch, to boot.

The fact that my eyesight really is crappy but I can't afford contacts.

...anyone got a new body they're willing to sell me? If I'm this bad now, I don't wanna know what it's going to be like when I'm old.

Jeysie, *goes into speech from work* are you on any type of mulitvitamin?  You want a good, time-released multi with a good B-complex, which is all the B-vitamins.  A good B-complex is 50 mg or more of each vitamin.  What that does is help with focus and fatigue.  Because of my schedule I can actually tell when I haven't taken my multi!  *ends speech*

Ok, sorry, I'm sure none of you wanted to hear that!

The BAD: Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down (well, at least when it's a rainy day Monday).

*hugz Say*  My day wasn't as horrible as yours, but it was pretty bad.  Just seemed like everything was going wrong, right?

Koko: Thank you for the thought. I have considered taking a multivitamin before... I prolly should consider it a bit more strongly! ;) Any idea what to do about the hungry/low blood sugar thing every 2-3 hours, though? I've been tested for both anemia and diabetes, and was negative on both, so I'm at a loss. :P Basically, I need ideas for food that I can bring to work that's portable, doesn't need a lot of prep time in the morning, and will actually keep me full/energized in between breaks (10 minutes every two hours) and when I get home to eat dinner. :P (Unfortunately, I hate cold cuts, so I'll mention that those are out.)

Protein lasts longer than carbohydrates, so anything with protein should help.  Maybe protein shakes or bars...the problem with those is you have to try them out until you find one you like.  I know when I eat carbs, my blood sugar does weird things, especially if it has a ton of sugar in it!  (Such as Fruit Loops...I can eat Cheerios though--the only time my blood sugar does REALLY weird things is right after breakfast--had to find something I could eat without feeling sick b/c of the blood sugar dropping two hours later).

About the multi--and I'm not just saying this b/c I work for GNC--but if you can find a GNC store around, go there for your multi.  If you can't find the woman's multi on your own, just tell the sales person you need the multi for the woman (there should be only one).  And I know that it may sound expensive, but get the 3 months supply--180 tablets--b/c it's a much better deal!

Hope this helps!

EDIT: Maybe we need a Health Advice thread as well as that Recipe thread! lol

Say

let me put it this way, there was a single thing I did yesterday that didnt go wrong, it all did to the point I thought I was going insane

my car started to act up, I lost my parking lot ticket I had to park outside (with the super fun that is to work ALONE to STRANGE LONELY PARKING LOTS AT NIGHT OUTSIDE CAMPUS, fun) I had to pay for that even though I HAD PAYED INSIDE BUT for borrowing MY car to my stupid brother he lost my parking ticket Im so goddamn pissed off I dont even think I will talk to him till my semester is over, this whole parking ticket thing caused a hugeee problem at home cuz Im pissed off and Im not talking to anyone here, my mom gets worried because the fact we payed for this bullshit is for me not having to walk at like 11 pm at night on the street to go get my car, parking inside campus is MORE safe, and she got all mad up at me and stuff, and it soooo lead into other crap at home I feel seriously wrong and guilty but wtf I AM PISSED OFF, it is my freaking life and none of my stupid brothers care, he lost my ticket and he doesnt even gives a fuk !? wtf, of course it pisses me off.

the problems at home will extend cuz oh well, personal stuff here, all I can say is that my mom also got mad with this parking bullshit thing and it extended into the wrong direction making OTHER problems bigger, but she also gets mad that I feel like Im on my own cuz not even my brothers give a damn wheter this happens or not.

when I was in college I burnt on a cd my application for today in computer class, and the stupid cd got stuck in the stupid mac and I had no idea how to get it out and noone had a large metal thing to get it out lol, I had to look all over for one (so annoying) then try my cd in other mac's to get my correction done, I arrived so late to class because I was looking all over for the stupid pass, I drove mad (you know that's something someone sane shouldnt do :P) I got traffic going and way back. A FREAKING LOUSY DAY.... :(

today I have so much to do... *cries* I just hope it wont be that bad today :(

THE BAD: Im tired and sleepy (even though I did sleep)

THE BAD: Im worried for today, this day of the week is always my busiest! :(

THE BAD: I miss rob, and james, and wtf even Cesar and Dean, I havent seen anyone lately wtf :(

The BAD:  Still need to do income taxes. :P

The BAD:  Screwing up bacon and eggs.  The bacon was good, but wtf did I do with the eggs?!  Were they fried?  Scrambled?  In an omlette?!  I don't know what I did!!!  Just...cooked.:P

Say: I forget, do Macs have those little emergency eject holes for CDs? If so, paper clips are your friend.

Anyhoo. Argh, the tax thing reminds me...

Bad things:

Having to file your state return by telefile or mail because the federal was free to file online, but the state wasn't. Feh, at least next year I'll be able to file free at my old service again, since I'll be old enough to meet the new qualifications (and probably will make less than the limit).

I'll probably just mail the damn thing... I don't have time to figure out the stupid Telefile whatnot. It's only $47 dollars anyway...

I wouldn't know either, I'm just sticking to GAIM. 8)

Quote from: Jeysie on April 11, 2004, 07:53:49 PMHmm. I thought that contact info was stored on the MSN server itself... ?
Well, I knew the ICQ contact info was stored on the server, but I didn't know about the MSN (yet). Now I do.

Quote from: Jeysie on April 11, 2004, 07:53:49 PMSeeing as how it's originally a Linux program, I don't see why it would require major installation in Windows. I didn't get to use it for very long, though... I know it installs a thing called something like GTK in its own Program Files folder, but other than that I'm not certain.
I can't think of a reason why it would either. I don't know what the GTK-thing is for either, but I don't see it causing any more trouble than I had when I was not having it installed. :P
