THE BAD: None of the guests are looking in the "Guest Thread".  :(

Don't feel too bad, some of them aren't real. XD They're a bunch of AOL proxy search bots.  ;P

???

Strange...

Bad things:

Still no luck with the snarky gift idea! POO!

Harrison got his second jury duty summons in the mail today. Considering how wonky his last jury outing went, I get the feeling he's going to be rather crabby when he comes home and sees this one.

Liz, did you try that store that I told you about??  If not...looks like you're going to have to find some spare time! ;B

Koko: Yah. I found the bookstore, but didn't see a branch of that store. Poo. Maybe I can try the other branches, if I can figure out how to get to them.

Bad things:

I've gotten 11 virus e-mails in two days. This is really starting to get ridiculous. Stupid spammers.

Edit: Almost forgot...

More bad:

The people at the church Harrison directs choir for keep accidentally calling me either Sue or Pat. ???

My OWN MOTHER not too long ago *also* accidentally called me Pat! What, am I giving off weird Pat Vibes?

Pa...I mean... Jeysie, I think I can see a PATtern here. Not to PATronize or anything, but I think you have to be PATient with these PAThological people. It doesn't help to kick them in the PAToot, so you might as well kick back on your PATio, listen to some PATriotic music, eat a couple of hamburger PATties and work on a PATent or something. I mean it's not like you can SUE them or anything....

Ya know, it occurred to me... if I were the more spiritual type, I would take the Sue/Pat thing as a sign... as a sign of the fact that Harrison feels like he fits in with their crowd and I don't is a Bad Thing. :P

I mean, any place where a mention of how I played with computers most of my time as a kid nets a "We didn't HAVE computers when *I* was a kid!" in a sort of scolding "You so spoiled" tone, well, it speaks for itself, really. (The fact that Harrison and I were the only people there not old enough to legitamately make said claim also speaks for itself.)

It was just the sort of disdainfullness behind it that bugged me. "Oh, well, we did *better* stuff as kids than playing with some new-fangled toys." Unfortunately, Harrison has much the same attitude... he considers my website work to be "wasting time on the computer". Yet, strangely enough, his arranging music on the computer doesn't count as "wasting time"! Bah, I'm crabby again.

And then of course, there's the mentions of tractor pulls, farmer's markets, fishing, house renovations, etc., all of which go a reasonable amount of distance over my head. I.E. they=country folk, me=semi-city folk. Unfortunately, Harrison=wanna-be country folk, it seems.

Bother.

I hate it when people tell me that I'm wasting my time sitting so long in front of the computer >:(
Maybe FOR THEM it's a waste of time. For me it's something I enjoy and aspire to do for a living. I mean, I don't criticize YOUR job or YOUR hobbies, don't criticize mine ::)

The last bad for the day:

Harrison just said I'd make a perfect Peg Bundy. Any semblance of dignity I ever had is gone forever. :P

I'm normally considered country, by people in the city, and city, by the people in the country.

Harrison's actually working today, because his insurance call-center needs everyone on the phones just in case things get hairy down there. :(

So not only are the Floridians possibly going to have major problems :( , but Harrison, after spending a week of non-stop classes, has to come home and work six days this week. Darn you, stupid hurricane! :P :P :(

Edit: Cesar's in one (functional) piece! Yaaaaaay!
