Every year Germany hosts one of the largest videogame trade shows in Europe. Last year alone it received over 300,000 visitors with many gaming announcements being revealed throughout its run.

Our very own César Bittar and Vitek Goyel are already there representing Phoenix Online Studios. The team will be promoting the Phoenix line-up as well as meeting up with gaming media and fellow gamers alike.

If you’re attending this year’s Gamescom, be sure to look for us as we’ll be presenting Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar, Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller – Game Of The Year Edition, Quest For Infamy and of course, the 20th Anniversary Edition of Gabriel Knight.

Gabriel Knight: 20th Anniversary Edition is a remake of the classic Sierra On-Line adventure game, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. The project is being helmed by series creator Jane Jensen while its soundtrack is being remastered by the original composer, Robert Holmes. To celebrate the Phoenix trip to Gamescom, we have new screenshots and even a completely new trailer which can be seen below.

Gamescom has always been the mecca of adventure gaming and this year promises to be no different. This is the place to be if you’re interested in Activision’s coming announcements regarding the resurrection of Sierra On-Line. We are looking forward to learn and share the exciting news that will no doubt be coming soon.
