I really like this new forum look :), anyhow I have a question! how about the icons here? I mean, remembe how in the old forum we used to have an icon with a caption there thing, I'd like to know if these forums are alike or something, how that works with this new thing, because i couldnt find them anywhere :)
Ok I found out how, but the max image it allows you to use is 50*50 pixels is too small, now I want to know wheter this can be possible to be modifed (PLEASE) eventually or something and about the smiley faces also, are you planning on getting more or these are the ones we got now?, we used to have animated ones, how about now?

Our goal at the moment was to setup the forum as quickly as possible to allow the forum users to post messages. We'll try to transfer the old threads and update the various features of the website as we go along. Hopefully we'll have everything up and running like before shortly.
I have increased the maximum size of the Avatar images. Let me know if you have any further problems uploading your avatars.

Hey guys nice to see you've already started migrating to the new forum. Its a bit empty now but it just went online last night so it should pick up soon. Will look better once the old threads get moved over. Till then I guess its up to us to fill them up.
yeah I agreee with Mr. Florez up there, the forums are slow right now cause its about to -emigrate- to it, the boring part is always to get registered, after that it should get better, lets hope our 300 something other users might feel up to that, and head back
and oh yeah one more thing about this forum is the fact that the registration is not just bigger (perhaps a bit annoying at first, i myself im clueless about this post thing, I just post here) but all the options is has, Im glad the "avatars" (i didnt even have a clue that had a name other than -icon-) has a reasonable size now, all I do hope now is to have better upgrades in this forum relates to the old one (according to icons, smileys and stuff).

hahahaha I'll say what I said before on the old forums, when I went mad posting here, it was to cheer this a bit, people where shy, they only asked about the game and they were afraid to hang around here to ask anything else but "when is it gonna be released" or "cool site", the forum had like mmm a few months up
and even though we had lots of people registered in it noone talked and stuff, yet we do know how people visited our site and everything, so i started to hand round here, try to post some goofy stuff to laugh at (or perhaps piss off some :P)
now I do it cause its fun to for me, I really wouldnt mind the titles or the starts Im here anyways cause I like it ;)

hahaha, whatever the reason might be I love people feels comfortable around here, we want you all to feel able to comunicaty easily with all of us, we are not all mighty super people creating a game for ourselves, we are just common people trying to do a good job and we want you all be part of our comunity, in fact, most of the comments here eventually the directors get to read it and ifnot I tend to comment this with them a lot

Yes, we supply our chickens with grain(s) and in turn they supply us with eggs. I think that's a fair trade. But unfortunately, since there is no cat patrolling the chicken pen (?sp) the little birds come flying in and out and we'd very much appreciate it if only the redbreast could come and eat the grain. But the sparrows (I think that's what they're called) won't listen.
Plus, I don't get your question. Don't you know what Belgium is or do you have another question?
I do know where belgium is, but since I've never been there I dont know what its like neither the place your profile says you live.
Flanders is the northern part of Belgium, where everybody speeks a form of Dutch, but different enough to keep the Dutch from comprehending us completely. Thus, we call it 'Flemish'. In the southern half everybody speeks a form of French, which doesn't differ as much from the common French as our Flemish does to the common Dutch. And in the middle is Brussels, and although you're supposed to be able to talk to shops etcetera in both Flemish and French (for lack of a better word), in most cases you need to know French if you want to get anywhere in Brussels. However, Flanders is still the most productive region of the two (three if you count Brussels). If I told you the city, or even the town where I lived, you'd be completely lost, trust me. 8)

Im a big city freak myself, I've lived all my live in this big capital city and to be honest i dont think i could ever be outside it, not because of i dont like country or beach or whatever, but its since the fact living -inside- the city you actually get more access to it all, its somehow more crowded but easier, unlike living outside town or something its a lot of driving... too quiet agh

I technically live in the suburbs right now, but I love being near Boston! If I had the funds, I would definitely be living in the city right now. It's great:)

Can't stand the city. It's disgusting, dirty, noisy and never dark!! I've been living here for over a year now and I don't think I saw a single star. :(
I miss the lovely view, the open sky, the grass, the smell of earth after the rain, and not having to breath car exhaust every time I go out :'(

For me, I think it's something about the way it isn't ever dark and always full of life that I love so much!
I must admit you're right about the star part. My family has a cottage on Cape Cod (the little hook/elbow coming out of Massachusetts, for those who may not know) and that's one thing I *love* about being there in the summer, the sky's full of more stars than I knew existed!!
But I still love Boston...every time I come home from a trip somewhere and I see thay skyline, which may not be famous, but I still love, I feel like I'm home again. :)
Hey, Katie or anyone else in the Boston area. This summer I need to take some courses to supplement my education or else I won't be able to get the double major and minor that I want and so I'm looking for some colleges in the Boston area (Because that's where my significant other ;) lives). I've checked out BU and they don't appear to be offering what I want. Let me know if you have any advice, because my advisor certainly doesn't.
Well, it being the biggest college town in the country, there are plenty of places to look! What kind of classes are you looking to take?
BU is just one place - there's also BC, Northeastern, Harvard, MIT, Emerson, UMass Boston, Simmons, Brandeis, Babson (nearby) and tons of others I can't even think of right now!
But yeah, knowing what you may be looking for would help narrow it down. Most places just offer the basic core requirement type classes in the summer, but some may offer more specific classes depending on the school/department.
Hmm.. As weird as it may seem I've only been to Boston to visit two springs ago when I wanted to see where I was going. So I really don't know all that much about it. The classes I need are as follows: Financial Statement Analysis (Usually a finance or accounting course); Ethics in Management, or Business ethics (Found one at BU); Production/Operations Management (Usually in a management or production/operation department) and Regression Analysis (Statistics or mathematics).

Okay. Try looking at the Carroll School of Management (CSOM) at Boston College. Babson is entirely a business school, so that's worth looking at, though it's outside of Boston in Wellesley, actually. If you've got car, though, that won't be much of a problem. I'd suggest just plain looking up business schools in Boston-area on maybe US News & World Report and then seeing what summer classes they've got.
And if you ever need temp agency names for a job, I know a lot of those too! ;)

Big cities? Forget it. Nice and quiet in the country side. Nice trees and bushes, right beside the house, don't have to go to a park. No noise from the cars, since there's hardly any traffic, no air pollution from factories or traffic... Big cities are waaaay too crowded for my taste. Everybody so cooped up together, no way!:P
I want to live in the woods when I get older...
Of course, I hope there wouldn't be any bears in the woods. They have to be safe woods at least.
And I'll hafta get a T3 internet line somehow. ;)
But I really like the fresh air, it's very nice to my lungs because my asthma makes it a bit hard to breathe in big cities.

I need SPACE around me, so I can relaxxxxx. And trust me, there are (at least in Flanders) very few place left where you hear nothing at all. If you nothing manmade, there are probably some birds around making sounds (some call it noise, some call it song).. 8)
I don't understand why so many people like living in the city. I don't mind living half an hour drive away from the city, if it means I won't have to listen to all that car noise the whole time :o
The city is just DISGUSTING. Living here, all I see are ugly buildings, ugly streets, and ugly, misrable people. I just hate it. How can people live in this place without getting disgusted every day by all this ugliness? It really makes my life unbearable... I wish I could go back home, to my beautiful valley :(

thats sooo subjective, because its not about good or bad is about quality of life style, sometimes people got a lot of duties or multiple jobs as to be living outside city having all posibilites as far as it gets, its easier having every tool at hand, and the fact its a city doesnt make it any less or any worse than contry or whatever is a subjective matter, and I do (for example) love new york, and to be honest is one of the most known cities, why if it sucks so much and its so polluted and so nasty? there is people who enjoy it and dont see it that way, thats why i think its a subjective opinion, I said i didnt like living outside the country but I never said i thought it was disgusting people who enjoyed the outsides of it, there is a difference there.

Sure, living in the city is more confortable in many ways, everything is closer, more oppertunities, etc.
I know only too well what it's like to live in the middle of nowhere, where the bus to the nearest town (30 minutes drive) comes about twice a day, there's no cable internet and absolutly no proper jobs in my desired profession. Still, I can't see myself living my entire life in the city... I'd be far too misrable :(
More people, means more traffic, means more pollution, unless the traffic is completely electric and in the current situation that means more pollution somewhere else. So excuse me for not wanting to live in a polluted environment.
I do not live in the middle of nowhere, we've just gone from one bus every two hours to one bus every hour. And that bus only does a big quarter of an hour to the nearest city. And yet, while that city can in no way be compared to New York (it's much smaller for instance) I wouldn't even want to live there.
Call me close or single-minded if you will, everyone's different, if you like living in a big city, that's your prerogative (?sp), I'm more an open-space guy.
BTW, about finding no proper jobs in your desired profession: join the club, I have to do a 55-minute drive twice every day to go to and from work. And that's by car, if I'd have to go by public transport it would take at least half an hour longer, in a best-case scenario.
