December 2011!
Sounds fun! I take it you're making this, Rado? Tell us more about it if you can!

Indeed. Right now, I would like to do everything by myself, which is why the backgrounds are collages (extra points if you can identify the sources!) and you can expect to hear royalty-free medieval and baroque music, including Greensleeves ;) I'm trying to keep the scope of the project manageable - I expect it to be a bit smaller than the original King's Quest. However, once a 1.0 is out of the door at the end of this year, my dream is to gather a team and produce an enhanced edition, with fully original artwork and sound.

Certainly! What would you like to know?
Is this done in AGS?
How much is done so far?
That's a terrible way to ask that. What steps and areas are completed so far? I'm curious if this is a post about the game mid-process or very beginning, etc, basically.
I'm hoping that this isn't a delays April fool's joke cause I've been hit by two of them so far D: I don't know if I'm looking at my local time with when stuff is posted or american. If it's my local, this could be a joke :( In which case I'd be sad.

Not many of the assets are completed and there's a lot of scripting still to be done. However, on paper the game is done. Progress is relatively slow due to my day job
s, but steady and focused.

I intended to keep the project secret until release, but I just couldn't resist announcing a game with this title on April Fools, which is what I did on the AGS forums. I really am working on it and it's not a joke :)
Sounds flippin' sweet, man! Keep the updates coming! :D

Looking for any help?

Not at the moment, but thanks so much for offering! I'll probably need some help with scripting when it's time to do polishing - for the little touches - but for now I have everything I need.

Would those be in-game points?
Anyway, I recognise Conquests of the Longbow and (maybe) Quest for Glory II VGA?
Quote from: glottal on April 09, 2011, 02:27:09 AMQuest for Glory II VGA?
Oh no, I wouldn't do something like that. You do get points for Conquests of Longbow though. There's also some KQV in there and a little bit of Quest for Glory.
There's not going to be any ripped material in the final version but I'm not quite ready to show the new graphical style which will both allow me to complete the project faster and not infringe on any more copyrights than I absolutely need to ;)
