How about Osama Bin Laden?

Nah, I think that the US Gov. will give him what’s coming to he if he wants it or not…  I think I’ll stick to local politicians…. more entertaining  :D

If you want to take him on, be my guest.  :)

O.B. Laden rules! XB
Compared to him, S.Hussein was just an amateur. It was about time someone taught that arrogant American government a lesson! Sorry it took so many human lives, but unfortunately, it was the only way that goal could have been achieved.

PS: I'm not an islam fundamentalist, neither do I have any grudge against the American people, nor am I a supporter of Al Qaeda, but I just said why (I think) he did it. 8)

I don't think the U.S. will get him (O.B.L.) alive.

(cough)

(joins Koko in frowning and staying mostly silent)

Besides, if anything, it only made the US Government even worse, not better.

I'm not going to say anything either. I decided to stay out of any political threads - it's better for my health  :-X

>silently nods in agreement<

Why are we discussing politics on here at all?  Those discussions can never end well.  I meant persecuting people here on the boards, and unless bin Laden is a King's Quest fan......

Talking politics is a dangerous (and in this case way off topic) thing to do. This I shall make the last political statement I’ll ever make here:

*resounding silence*

As the tile of the thread is “Tierra” what did folks think of the interview they put up yesterday?

I haven't been over there in over a week...so I don't know!

Oh, and Q: You asked about Osama being a KQ fan...Don't you know it's his favorite adventure game series...Of course, his favorite of all time is MoE, but that's another topic  8)

Since I'm not interested in QfG I won't be reading the interview. (skimmed it and it seemed to be about QfG2)

Interview?  In the designer journal?  That's not from yesterday....it's from a month ago!  March 16! >grumbles about lack of designer journal updates, but then goes back on topic<

I really do like the AGDs, and the interview makes it pretty clear that they're very dedicated.  It was a good interview...my only complaint is that there wasn't really anything *new* in it.

I read it... it was mostly about the AGDs themselves though, not much about QFG2VGA  8)

Not to mention that... talking about politics is already a bad idea... bringing religion into it is like pouring kerosene onto the bonfire. :P

I also dont happen to agree with bob saying that Hussein looks amateur compared with Osama lol (Hussein murdered large part of his family just for the sake to not have legacy to give his "empire" to) and sorry, even if I would have a very very personal unique perspective of americans OR their goverment, I do not support terrorism in ANY form

Dew has a right to feel offended of course, as an american it does hurts, it was a sad moment for everyone I believe, and I also support the idea of Jason about let's not bring up these sad or personal perspectives into the forum.

And Jeysie is right one thing is politics and another completly different religion, merging them together is a molotov bomb, so in order to not keep back and forth with the personal comments on this matter you may take a friendly discussion over msn about it.

I agree with the general concensus here that discussing things like politcs and other controversial topics never end well.  Considering this thread was originally intended to be about Tierra, I'll split all the relevant posts and create a new thread from those.

In the mean time, Say and I have agreed for this thread to be locked.
