Title: The "how are you" thread
Post by: Haids1987 on May 15, 2011, 11:03:23 PM
We have a "what are you doing" thread and a "good and bad" thread, why don't we have the most basic of thread--how are you?

Vote as many times as you want, chat with us about why you're feeling however you feel, and have a Dr. Phil moment if you need to!

Me, I'm sleepy.  Almost bedtime for Haids!  How 'bout the rest of you?

Sexy, according to others, because I've lost sooo much weight and my BMI is now 16.8. :P

Sick. :( My kidneys hurt because I've taken too much oxy. :(

Tired because last night was really bad pain-wise and I kept having really, really weird meta-dreams. XD I was a tomb raider in one of them until a golem in the tomb attacked me and my boyfriend took off its head but it killed him too. :( This led to my waking up *in* another dream and having a hysterical fit and, after reassuring myself that he was fine, I went to Prague for reasons still unknown to me and was surrounded by idiots obsessed with iced coffee whom I couldn't seem to shake. :P At one point my cat woke me up because she was very proud of herself for killing something. :P

Hungry because I've yet to have breakfast.

Frustrated beyond all words because nothing makes sense. :(

I'm sorry I died in your dream. :( I clearly need to cultivate a more masculine impression in your subconscious so I don't die in your dreams :D

*provides Deloria with many, many hugs* <3 <3 <3

- Annoyed with myself because I did a past paper question really badly.
- But hey, it's over now and I've learned from it. (Although the lesson was, "Don't talk codswollop", which is not tremendously helpful.)
- About the refamiliarise myself with Beowulf :D

I don't think it has anything to do with you so much as the ridiculous amount of narcotics I've been taking these past few days. :P Besides, chivalry is much better. :D Meta-dreams are fun. :D

Still exhausted, sick and frustrated. :P And busy, busy, busy. :P

Aw, Enchantermon, that sucks.  I'm getting frustrated myself, since I can't figure out how to allow people to change their votes...

And I'm also frustrated because I can't stop HICCUPING!  And I get 'em violently, too; my whole body convulses and I make a horrible noise. ::)

Every day I hiccup about 6 times, but not consecutively: just spread out randomly over the course of my day. :P

Reeeeeeaaaaally?  Wow.  See, peanut butter always makes it worse for me!  Bread does too, and sticky rice.  I must have a super sensitive esophogus!

Hey, that's better than me.  Whenever I get the hiccups, I let out a belch in between each one, and the only way to stop it is to drink enough so I let out the gas in large, consecutive belches.

Peanut Butter works for me.

I am in a really good mood. Depressed a little that my sister is gone to Africa for the summer but I got to Skype her today! Working, working, working. Busy little bee that I am but the reward was $70 worth of new clothes!

She is studying Swahili, she has a gift of picking up languages. She already knows Spanish fluently and only hand two days of instruction in Swahili she can already write a paragraph. She will go and live with the tribal people and live the way that they do, which means no technology what so ever. That is what bothers me the most, the wild life could easily get her.

Good for her, that's awesome! :) She'll be fine, waltz, don't worry.  If she's living with the tribal people they'll teach her how to protect herself.

Pride Rocks! Sweet :D I wish your sister luck and safe travels!

I'm feeling decent.  Not sad but not overly happy. Still an improvement though.

Oh, right.

I like Haids' idea, a crude self-portrait drawn in charcoal. Then again, even that was the pinnacle of technology at some point in human history.

When she goes there, she will be in Nairobi for two weeks then going out to the tribes where there won't be any technology. She is going to Pride Rock while in Nairobi.

Today I am feeling:

Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeepy (which is what happens when you only give yourself six hours of sleep ::))
A little crabby (From said tiredness)
Lazy (Why did two people who affect my classroom call in sick today?  Why?!  Now I have to take two extra kids and today I don't feel like doing ANYTHING!)
