Can someone remind me of what had to be cut out of the final game?
I can't remember if Etheria and other places we had visited were cut from the game...I was thinking of some of the early screen shots I had seen of the pathway up by where that damn wind horse kept knocking you off, and I thought, "Man, that was such beautiful artwork, but I don't remember if we get to go there."
On a side note, I know that being able to play the other characters was cut from the game, which was a bummer. But i just finished Ep 3 and I'm excited to see what happens next...I was just wondering if we were staying in the Green Isles or if we get to go other places...Tamir...Kolyma...Faldaral (Sp?)

A while back it was announced that we will actually get one more playable character, though which one was not revealed. That's the only thing for sure that I know of in regard to your questions, though.

IIRC what remains of the original game concept has more or less been condensed into the time spent in the Green Isles (i.e.- no other lands, except perhaps sometime in Daventry Castle has been hinted at from the plot point that the spell must be cast in their homeland or some such). Of course with those other lands go a lot of new characters and content, etc.
My guess is that the other playable character will be Alexander, but that's just my guess.

I remember some of the early concept art showing Etheria and some fiery land. I do wonder if any of that will make it into the final game or was completely cut out.
