So is today the big update?? Or is that next weekend....or the weekend after that :'( :suffer:
there is a weekly update every weekend but the monthly update is next week... i think... cuz the games might end half week so the big update might be then too?? or not ; ) ...lol, guess i'm in no position to tell ; )
I thought it might be today because originally today was when the Bear Contest was supposed to end...but the Bear Contest deadline was moved.
Also, in the Inventory interview I believe Say mentioned that a monthly update was the 2nd or 3rd of every month. That was eye-catching to me, because the last update was the 28th. I figured that maybe Say had the next update on her mind when she said that, and lo and behold, next Sunday is the 2nd.

The massive monthly update won't be tonight. We have too many things in RL to deal with at the moment. It should be next weekend or around then, but we will have the traditional Weekly Update tonight. ;D
I openly apologize I never saw this thread before, we didnt do the update last weekend we may do it this weekend or asap around it, Neil and I have serious issues going on in real life which means that it has showed we do keep for the weekly update evne though the monthly update consumes around a whole day of our time (if completed) if not it, takes more cuz we do handle a lot of new elements to the update as the logistic of every single move done around here (nothing happens by casualty) we handle as well third parties related to us, so the updates are not around here alone we constantly work on other elements as research, and fudaments strategy base buildt, anyhow, the bear contest may be down, which means I have to move the directors to pic the winner, the online auditions may stay another month I asume, there is a new contest coming up (one of our biggest contests ever actually), there are the new features coming up (one of our biggest features as well, a lot of pr movement related), which it all is a lot of work, around 70% of it done just hang in there and Im sorry this update has taken another week but I had thesis and end of my major (5 year career) and I had to take another week apart from it because I had defense plus finals same week, truly sorry, I will try to get the things set up as soon as we can possible achieve to do so, thanks.
no apo's needed ; ) ...we know you all are very busy and stuff, so take it easy (lol, did i just said that?? ; )... hahaha, I'm looking forward to the new features, and contest, and, ...and ; )

I must admit this is the update that has taken the most time for me, IM SO SORRY, Im still working on it :P I just didnt quite manage to make it all on time but if I continue it wont happen any moment this week so I cut if off and Im launching the new features with what there is, so HANG IN THERE! FEARZ NOT!... I mean, dont worry we are finishing as we speak, it may come up today! yay :D (and after this Im going to sleep for like 2 weeks nonstop :P)

Say, just a suggestion and I'm not sure it would work, but couldn't you work on updates gradually throughout the week? This way, you would vastly reduce stress levels but more importantly ::) we would get really fast updates, like Sunday mornings ;-D
I do actually, I've never been late untill now, in fact the previous updates before these usually never even reached a month, but as a matter of fact, truth is I dont really live inside the forum, neither kq9 is a payed project, and I do have a life outside this :P this weekend I had to clarify a lot of administrative paperwork for college, hence I finished my master after long 5 years of career, so I thought you lubly fans would be understanding enough to be gentle to forgive my delay cuz it hasnt been truly my fault but my responsability it is, so sorry, yet I couldnt do it any other way, dont worry, the update is shaping up, fear not! :D

Geeeez. If the girl has real life stuff to do, she has real life stuff to do. Relax, the site'll get updated when the PR folk get their important stuff figured out. :P

I too had a lot of real life things going on last week (three finals back to back, moving from one city to another and driving for 5 hours to get to that second city Sunday evening). It wasn't physically or mentally possible to do the updates last weekend, or any sooner that week. Also, we actually started doing some or most of the updates around the second week of the month since it's not always possible to do it all at the last minute.
Still, this monthly update will be massive. It turned out to be even more massive than we were expecting, which is why we still haven't completed everything yet. Don't worry though, it will all be worth the extra wait of 2 or 3 days.
Anyway, since Say and I were feeling bad for this delay, we decided to do a quick minor update tonight. The Art of the Week and Weekly Poll have both been updated, as is the mention of KQ9 Contest winners on the main page. Hopefully we will complete the monthly update tomorrow, now it's time for bed. 8)
You see, this is why they never want to tell us when the next update/big thing will be. People get over-excited, freak out, start complaining, and get Say & Yonkey all stressed up :(
