OMG!  OMG!  OMG!!  CHEESE!!!!!!!!!

Many of you probably don't realize this, but I am a devout Cheesist.  I have to build a shrine here. >builds a shrine<
And if anyone is thoroughly confused by all of this...http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/cheesism.html (http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/cheesism.html)
It's still under construction at the moment, but it has the basics.

Q, I gotta say...ur a lyrical genius;

Make way for the next Q.Cheesey (lame attempt of turning Q into P.Diddy)

Best songs- Lets gets cheese", "Bad cheese for life", "Roll with the edam", "You gets no stilton" {miss hilton} and "cheese delivery".

Lets get cheese (some lyrics missing due to technical promblems)

(Chorus)
(Q.Cheesey and the Cheddars)
Make this Cheese
Take this Cheese (Let's get it)
Ain't no way you can take this from me (Let's get it)
Ain't cheese funny (uh)
Eat it honey (Let's get it)
Cheese makin money
Now let's get cheese (Let's get it)

(Q cheesey)
Eat with your people
Though my Cheese is Sweet and Low in fat, its cheese that your lookin
Once I throw the hook you proceed to get cookin

And I can have a big puffy cheese jacket.  I like it!  Next stop: the Superbowl!!
And this whole thread is totally getting a page to itself off of the Cheesism page.  Right up there with Cheezus Diced's page, which I promised somebody would get put up this week. BWAHAHAHAHA!  CHEESISM SHALL RISE LIKE A BIG SOARING THINGUMMY!

I love cheese too *nods*. I had the nicest ever cheese based meal in Germany one year. It was this huge huge piece of hollow bread and it was stuffed with this Cheese, chive, random herbs and crispy bacon....MMMMMMM it was just so good! I wish I knew what teh cheese was though :(

I should figure out how to do an official conversion over IM or on the forums so you can all become Devout Cheesists like myself.

Of course you can be a Q. Cheesey groupie, ZKimmie!  You rock just like a wheel of a cheese!  Or something...

I don't play TSO, but I want to be a Cheesist anyway. I love cheese... Harrison picks on me about it sometimes, since I drown my salads and spaghetti in cheese.

Peace & Luv, Liz
Title: Re:The cheeze shop
Post by: Questing Character on April 29, 2004, 01:29:50 PM
Don't worry about the TSO aspects...I have some RL converts too.  You just have to follow the Cheese's great and holy teachings of having fun, that's pretty much it.
And of course, you must also praise the Cheese whenever possible.  And buy air fresheners because, well, let's just say we don't discourage the Cutting of the Cheese. :P

It couldn't hurt.  At the really wild ceremonies, we've been known to run out of air fresheners.  That's usually when the ceremony ends. :P
Ceremony means party, btw. ;) You can get awesome reactions if you say you're having a religious ceremony when you're actually just having a good time.

People just can't understand it at school when I eat cheese by itself.
Title: Re:The cheeze shop

And why WOULDN'T you consume cheese in every possible way, by itself included?  I think it's THEM that are weird!

I concur, Neil.
Title: Re:The cheeze shop
Post by: Questing Character on April 29, 2004, 06:46:54 PM
Me...I don't have a favorite cheese.  I prefer the non-smelly cheeses over smelly ones (which may be sinful enough but....well, I am only human), but I like almost all cheeses equally well.
But, yeah, cheddar is high up on the list.

Title: Re:The cheeze shop
Post by: B'rrr on May 09, 2004, 11:55:25 AM
yes you can ask it...if you go back to the cheeze topic right away!!

i didn't upload the pics... i linked them. you can do that by using the image tags [ img]  and [/ img] (without the space)

put the link to the pick between the tags and it shows as a picture in your post. you can do that as amny times as you wish

....the only problem is that you need a site where the pic is on, so you can link it to there.

lol, i'm bad at explaining... hope you understand, if not im me ; )

No, it doesn't make any sense.

Squid on anything is gross.

Let alone using it to ruin a perfectly good pizza.

Crazy Japanese....they also like this uncooked fishstuff called "Sushi". :D

Title: Re:The cheeze shop
Post by: J-ROC on May 31, 2004, 12:08:39 PM
That's the beauty of death....because if you have sushi and realize how terrible it is, you might end up eating more by accident and have the experience a second time!
Not with death! :D

Anyhoo. People usually sprinkle parmesan on pasta, but I wouldn't call it smelly, I'd call it yummy! ;) Hmm. I think romano cheese is sometimes used too?... that one might be smelly, I've never really tried it so I wouldn't know.

I think it's getting to be time to repost the Cheese creed and try to get some converts to Cheesism....

QuoteWe believe in the Fermentation, the Creation of Cheese. We believe in Cheezus Diced, Our Appetizer. He was born of the Fermentation. He gave hope to the Armies of Cheese in the Revolution against the EEEEVIL King Ronald and the forces of McDonald's. On the third day the Cheeses were freed. He will come again to judge the Cheesy and the Not-Quite-So-Cheesy.
We believe in all the Cheeses; Cheddar, Swiss, American, Jack, String, Brie, Bleu, Parmesan, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Feta, Edam, Cream, Cottage, Gouda, and others we now name before the Cheese aloud and in our hearts.
(Moment of silence to allow other Cheeses to be named)
We believe in the three stages of Enlightenment: Cheese Whiz, Public Worshipper, and Enlightened. We acknowledge the outfits for each level and will wear them whenever we are asked. We recognize the Confession of Un-Cheesy Doings. We will do our best to reveal the Way of the Cheese to all whom we meet.
ACheese.

This is quite the act of necromancy! XD Still, it's a thread about cheese, and cheese is good, so...

Oh! Random cheese comic. (http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=2590#comic)

Also, I need to get a cheese grater but I can't find one in the shops round here :S
Title: Re: The cheeze shop
Post by: Delling on April 27, 2012, 04:29:10 AM
It reminds me of the aunts in Pushing Daisies! XD

Also, another implication of the comic is that if one is not actively involved in the production of cheese, then one is failing at life. :o ((Also, also, the stilton is to die for... Jesus jokes. ::))) But, see, if this were true, offerings would have been cheese, not lambs. :P *is over-analyzing... (it's a thing which I do)*

I never watched it. The concept kinda creeped me out.

But I enjoy cheese. Not as much as I used to, since I can't eat so much rich stuff anymore, but I like a good hunk of Swiss or Provolone cheese on a sandwich. Drool.

I'm really into cottage cheese misself. Lots of people think it's scary because of the texture. I think it's wonderful because of its deliciousness.

It's done really whimsically. :) There's a narrator who almost always speaks in verse at the beginning of each episode, really lovable, eccentric characters and kind of ridiculous but really wonderful plots. :) I think you'd like it. :)

I've recently discovered 'exotic' types of brie! So brie stuffed with chives or plum. :D It's delicious.

I freaking love cheese.  There's a Greek store near where I live that has a whole section of imported cheeses (over half a dozen types of feta alone).  I like to go there and just browse.  They also have free samples.  Among my favorites are a wine goat cheese, called Drunken Goat, and a truffle cheese that has an ash rind.  There's also an awesome blue cheese wrapped in leaves.

Anyway, I am addicted to cheese.  My homemade pizzas will always have multiple cheeses (up to 4 or 5) on them and my alfredo sauce is incredibly rich and cheesy.  I cannot stress this enough.  I adore cheese.

I for one am debating finding all manner of recipes which use cream cheese... having made the aforementioned pie and a cheese cake and having previously made sweet rolls with a cream cheese frosting, I have found that cream cheese is interesting and fun to work with. :D

And should always be fed to me. You forgot that step.

I'm surprised that there aren't more (legible) recipes for cheese in Spanish and Portuguese on the Internet.  Spanish-speaking countries tend to be big fans of cheese, and I'm sure the Brazilians and Portuguese have plenty.  I did, however, find a good French site with quite a few recipes.  If anyone's interested, I'll link it here (http://www.epicurien.be/recettes/fromages/recette-fromage.asp).  I can't touch the stuff anymore, but... I was addicted to my cheese.  Even the cheapy kinds worked for me.

Don't forget www.Fromages.com! (Interesting selection.)

It's my birthday tomorrow (in 12 minutes!), and I would like everyone to post pictures of interesting cheesecakes in this thread as celebration.

Thank you.

Well, it's late and I don't really understand the idea of smearing curdled white liquid from mammary glands on top of cakes (but then again milk and me are not good friends).

Well, Green Tea Cheesecake sounds interesting, anyway. I'm not sure whether it would be good or not.

So, for a second, I thought your username was MilkPal and I was really confused. :P

I'm medicated, it's allowed! :P

I'd be interested to try green tea cheesecake....it would either be really good, or REALLY not. :P

That's kind of what I was thinking. Green tea ice cream isn't bad.

Deloria and I got Brie last week. It went runny. We left it on a plate and it expanded in a near-perfect circle. We had to contain it by putting the lid of a pot over it. Then it set. Eventually we had to scrape it off the plate and throw it away.

That concludes our cheese story.

We should have known better. The Cheese Shop sketch has revealed that soft cheeses go very, very runny and then the cat gets into them. :(
