Many of you probably don't realize this, but I am a devout Cheesist. I have to build a shrine here. >builds a shrine<
And if anyone is thoroughly confused by all of this...http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/cheesism.html (http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/cheesism.html)
It's still under construction at the moment, but it has the basics.
I <3 cheddar and mozza together on my pizzas.
hahahahaha... that is soooo funny!! especially the cheese creed!! ; ) lol, looks familiar though :D
:D <- cheese smiley, guess i have to use it a lot in this thread ;-D
;-D ALL HAIL THE CHEESE!!!!!
Well, also, we'll have the story of Cheezus Diced, Our Appetizer up there at some point.
Oh. My. God. (falls over laughing)
Questie, you're officially my hero. That cheese creed is absolutely hilarious!
Peace & Luv, Liz
Don't hurt yourself falling over. It's really not *that* funny.
Heheh...someone thinks I'm their hero. Oooh, boy, they never learn how much trouble those words can get them in........I mean....that's terrific Jeysie! :)
Q, I gotta say...ur a lyrical genius;

OMG! I can have Q.Cheesey groupies too! They can all wear yellow clothes with black dots like Swiss cheese and dance around singing about how great Q.Cheesey is. :D
And I can have a big puffy cheese jacket. I like it! Next stop: the Superbowl!!
And this whole thread is totally getting a page to itself off of the Cheesism page. Right up there with Cheezus Diced's page, which I promised somebody would get put up this week. BWAHAHAHAHA! CHEESISM SHALL RISE LIKE A BIG SOARING THINGUMMY!
can i be a groupie Q considering i helped u realise ur full potential of being *Q. Cheesey* ;D
I wanna be Baby Kim (after Baby bel) or *rappin-kimmiebel* ur lil rappin co-cheese-ite

Yay! cheezy kimmie :D ...hahahaha, you look.... like a cheese... ehhh, i meant great!! ;-D
lol thanx rob...i am a cheese with a cheesey grin :D
I love cheese too *nods*. I had the nicest ever cheese based meal in Germany one year. It was this huge huge piece of hollow bread and it was stuffed with this Cheese, chive, random herbs and crispy bacon....MMMMMMM it was just so good! I wish I knew what teh cheese was though :(
I should figure out how to do an official conversion over IM or on the forums so you can all become Devout Cheesists like myself.
Of course you can be a Q. Cheesey groupie, ZKimmie! You rock just like a wheel of a cheese! Or something...
I don't play TSO, but I want to be a Cheesist anyway. I love cheese... Harrison picks on me about it sometimes, since I drown my salads and spaghetti in cheese.
Peace & Luv, Liz
Don't worry about the TSO aspects...I have some RL converts too. You just have to follow the Cheese's great and holy teachings of having fun, that's pretty much it.
And of course, you must also praise the Cheese whenever possible. And buy air fresheners because, well, let's just say we don't discourage the Cutting of the Cheese. :P
QuoteOf course you can be a Q. Cheesey groupie, ZKimmie!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY[/glow]
Q...should I bring my nose tighteners?
Cat
It couldn't hurt. At the really wild ceremonies, we've been known to run out of air fresheners. That's usually when the ceremony ends. :P
Ceremony means party, btw. ;) You can get awesome reactions if you say you're having a religious ceremony when you're actually just having a good time.
People just can't understand it at school when I eat cheese by itself.
And why WOULDN'T you consume cheese in every possible way, by itself included? I think it's THEM that are weird!
I keep trying to tell them that, but they just don't understand. >:(
yay cheese is.....hmmmmmm ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D
...so what kind of cheeze are your favourites?
Cheddar! :D
I concur, Neil.
Me...I don't have a favorite cheese. I prefer the non-smelly cheeses over smelly ones (which may be sinful enough but....well, I am only human), but I like almost all cheeses equally well.
But, yeah, cheddar is high up on the list.
The Kraft Singles taste like plastic in my opinion ;-D, lol
Ugh, I hate Kraft Singles! XD I think I used to love them as a kid though. :o :X
There are two different types of Kraft singles though :-\, one is plastic and the other is on the verge of plastic ;), lol
Are Kraft singles even real cheese? I was never sure. I think they might be imposters....and no good can come from imposters!
wolf in sheeps clothing...imposter in cheese clothing :o
I don't mind cheese, especially with jam XB, but, as with many things, names have fled from my memory. ::)
aw its ok CC, im sure rob will come up with a good list of cheesey names and then Q can do a memorable rap for you to display wen ur at the supermarket ;D
I think everyone should get Cheese names! I got one! Uhm.....let's see.....I can't think of any though. :-\
well i hav lil rappin kimmiebel :S
I'll be Notorious B.R.E. XD
LMAO :suffer:
its the cheese rappin posse (lil kim aka lil kimmiebel, notorius BIG aka Notorius BRE and P.diddy aka Q Cheesey)
this thread feels lonely without rob!! :(
It does! Where is the proprietor of this store? ROB!!
we need more cheese!!
Maybe he'll hear me from here...
/me opens the window, sticks his head out and shouts:

:P
Rob went out for the weekend to a friend's house (or something) anyhow he is unable to get online cuz I bet his friend has no internet :(...
so yeah it kind of sucks :-\
lol that was cute bob, but thanks :P I dont think he could hear ya either hahaha :D
I'm sorry.... I had to tell you all that the shop was closed for the weekend... I'm so sorry...

It's GORGEOUS!!!!!! >gets teary eyed<
well there is more cheese... so if you want some... it is free today, so be my guest...
Q, could you make a cheese statue for me?? ...it think it would look good in my shop ; )
Well, I built this one in your shop.......would you like to have it? >gives it to Rob<
I will build a Cheese temple across the street too!
Well, guys, I did it. ;D Now this thread is forever immortalized in the legends of Cheesism!
http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/Cheesism/cheezeshop.html (http://www.angelfire.com/games5/crayauchtin/Cheesism/cheezeshop.html)
lol!! looks great!! hahahaha, but i don't think it would be the end of the cheeze thread ; )
Of course it's not the end...but I can't put more on the page until more happens here. ;)
Lol, great! XD
im looking for some Coon cheeze ;D, can anyone find me some :P ???
just for Jason; a pack of coon cheese...
...hope it is ...tasty ;-D ...btw can i have a bite too??
*eats cheeze* ;D
*gives half to Rob* ;)
MMMMHHH tasty :D
Mmmm...Coon cheese. Go Rob our awesmoe cheese provider!!
I prefer Farmer's cheese and Gouda cheese. ;)
Also both good cheeses. Do you have any of those, Rob? I haven't had gouda in a while actually. Mmm.
LOL I cant believe this thread has so many posts... AND so many real cheese hahaha :D
Isn't it wonderful? Only with cheese could you have a thread like this!

i don't know, you tell me ; )
...lol, so are there any good cheeze songs lately? ; )
cheeze songs :-\, i really do worry about you Rob ;P
erm, can i just ask an un-cheese related question...well it is kinda in reference to a cheese post...how dya put 2 pics in the same post ???
yes you can ask it...if you go back to the cheeze topic right away!!
i didn't upload the pics... i linked them. you can do that by using the image tags [ img] and [/ img] (without the space)
put the link to the pick between the tags and it shows as a picture in your post. you can do that as amny times as you wish
....the only problem is that you need a site where the pic is on, so you can link it to there.
lol, i'm bad at explaining... hope you understand, if not im me ; )
:suffer: rob, u dont wanna do that. otherwise u turn into one of the *kims stuck with computer problems again* allies
i will play around maybe and see if i get it right at some point, so for future reference if u see some weird un-picture like things, u know what i have been attempting to do ;P
anyway back to cheese...which is the one made out of mold...or something?
Quote from: Kimmie on May 09, 2004, 12:05:29 PManyway back to cheese...which is the one made out of mold...or something?
Aren't they all, in some way? ::)
does any1 else know what i am on about, for some reason blue stilton comes to mind
*waves* I know!!
there are several cheezes wich use mold in the process like:
-Brie,
-Camebert,
-stilton (and other true blue cheeses)
YAY ROB THE CHEESE GURU!! He answered Kimmie's Cheese question with ease! HURRAH FOR ROB!

CHEESE ON TOAST!! XB
Well, there's pizza, of course. ;) But I love cheese and broccoli, mmm.
Well, and cheese on salad. And cheese omelets. And lots of cheese on pasta. (Harrison always teases me, "Would you like some spaghetti with your cheese?")
Peace & Luv, Liz
hahahaha, your welcome Bushie, ..if you ever have in need of a cheese.... ;-D
My favorite cheese meals? The ones with cheese in them, of course!!!!! How do you expect me to choose a favorite? :P Post more, Cheese Guru Rob, we hunger for our Cheese! :D
ALL HAIL THE CHEESE!!!!!!!
*eats cheesesteak pizza with extra cheese and cheesebread on the side* ;D

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! :D
*gives first slice to Neil*
there you go!! ; )
Now that's good pizza!!!
I've heard that in Japan, one of the most popular toppings on a chesse pizza, is squid. Makes sense.
it does?? make sense i mean?? ; ) ...lol, not to me ;-D ...but then again there are more things not making sense to me then there does :-\
No, it doesn't make any sense.
Squid on anything is gross.
Let alone using it to ruin a perfectly good pizza.
Crazy Japanese....they also like this uncooked fishstuff called "Sushi". :D
hmmm, actually i always want to try sushi, find out if it's any good ;-D
Being beaten to death by wet noodles is better than eating sushi. :D
lol!!
well, since death is kind of permanent (for now) i rather try sushi first... or perhaps i shouldn't try either one of them ;-D
That's the beauty of death....because if you have sushi and realize how terrible it is, you might end up eating more by accident and have the experience a second time!
Not with death! :D
But yes, I do agree, don't bother trying either. :D
I'll just focus myself on cheese...eatingwise of course ; )
When I said it made sense, I was talking about that they live on an island. A big island, but still. Except what they import, most of their food comes from the ocean.
SQUIDS ROCKS! (never tried them on pizza though... :P, neither I believe I would lol ;P)
and... OMG SUSHI IS TEH BESTESTESZ <3
I love sushi, I absolutly love it <3
I wouldn't mind trying squid, but I wouldn't eat sushi. I like my food cooked.
Well, I'd eat it under rare circumstances.

spagetti with cheese, lots of cheese!! ..lol, where is the spagetti?? ...hmm, it looks weird anyway, i think i just go for the cheese ; )
mmmm, cheese! However, I prefer spaghetti sauce on my spaghetti...and then parmesian on top of that!
Cat
yeah, me too... o well, perhaps they put the sauce under the spagetti (can't see why they would though ; )
Whats that horrible smelling cheese that people usually sprinkle over spaghetti ???
Whenever I talk to Questie he tells me he's still not feeling well, so that's likely part of why he's not on the forum much. :(
Anyhoo. People usually sprinkle parmesan on pasta, but I wouldn't call it smelly, I'd call it yummy! ;) Hmm. I think romano cheese is sometimes used too?... that one might be smelly, I've never really tried it so I wouldn't know.
Peace & Luv, Liz
the cheese i dont really like- that processed cheese- like dairylea strip cheese...cheese stings are fun but they aint crumbley chesse ;P
i agree!! ..I dislike processed cheese too ; (
parmesian+pasta :)
I was going to post something about how if you want to discuss seafood, you ought to have a seafood thread...but the Cheese is pleased that you went back on topic. :) No criticising posts from Q today!
Yeah, I haven't been posting much because I'm still not feeling well. :( I am gonna try to post more, but you probably won't see very much of me until a few weeks after my vacation starts. I have to make up lots of school work too. :(
But, right, cheese!!
ALL HAIL THE CHEESE!!!!!!
June 20th
National Cheese Week (I'm not making that up)
OMG, I KNOW!! ISN'T IT WONDERFUL?? I am going to have a massive cheese celebration at my house one day that week! And we'll scare my neighbors!! XB XB
lol, you are scaring me already ; )
Rob, are you a neighbor of mine?? NO?? Firstly, why not? I want to live next to a cheese shop owner!!
Secondly, if you're not my neighbor, you can't be scared by my parties. I suppose, being scared of my party planning is acceptable though.
What type of cheese would make the best confetti and streamers do you think? :P XB
:o u should get squirty cheese and use it like that annoying spray string... but this one is edible ;D!
for decoration...confetti- grated cheese of diff assortments and for streamers...melted cheese pulled out of shape and stretched ;D
Now I'm scared.
Good thinking Kimmie!! I will have to remember those suggestions!!
Whatsamatta Lou...you don't wanna come? :P
nope
I'm having nightmares thinking about trying to clean up after that party. (shudders)
Peace & Luv, Liz
Good point, Jeysie. Maybe the party won't be at my house....
I wonder what the nearest, easy-to-break-into place is? And how many people could I fit inside? :P
I think I'll just stick to my normal colby and chedder cheese.
I want some cheeze Rob :P

Of course you can run the cheeze shop! As long as that nasty vampire isn't running it... :(
That vampire is wearing cheese on his head, thus he must be a Cheesist vampire, not a mean one. But I don't want him running the shop anyways.

I love cheese, but I'm trying to loose weight right now, and cheese is fattening. I can only have low-fat cheese, or no cheese at all.
Though, if you cut back on the serving size of everything you eat, that works too...that way I haven't lost my dairy products. Can't live without dairy!
Cat has the right idea, never give up on cheese!!
And...does that poll mean Keemeh is in charge of the Cheeze Shop?

QuoteWe believe in the Fermentation, the Creation of Cheese. We believe in Cheezus Diced, Our Appetizer. He was born of the Fermentation. He gave hope to the Armies of Cheese in the Revolution against the EEEEVIL King Ronald and the forces of McDonald's. On the third day the Cheeses were freed. He will come again to judge the Cheesy and the Not-Quite-So-Cheesy.
We believe in all the Cheeses; Cheddar, Swiss, American, Jack, String, Brie, Bleu, Parmesan, Ricotta, Mozzarella, Feta, Edam, Cream, Cottage, Gouda, and others we now name before the Cheese aloud and in our hearts.
(Moment of silence to allow other Cheeses to be named)
We believe in the three stages of Enlightenment: Cheese Whiz, Public Worshipper, and Enlightened. We acknowledge the outfits for each level and will wear them whenever we are asked. We recognize the Confession of Un-Cheesy Doings. We will do our best to reveal the Way of the Cheese to all whom we meet.
ACheese.
HAHA! I recognize that! But I could've sworn it had different words... :P

The "ACheese" is a creative touch. :P
Though it kinda sounds like a sneeze. :P
Yeah, it does, doesn't it? Amencheese might work better. :P
Amencheese....That's brilliant. XD Though I guess it's up to Q. :P
Thanks! Unfortunately, it is probably up to Q. :P
I'm sure he'll accept such brilliance though. :P
He has to! :P
How fast can the shop bring some cheese to my brother?
I haven't brought any whitme so he could become angry to me.
Or even wors, not letting me post anymore posts. :'(
I like Amencheese, but that was not something I came up with. The other Cheesists have been saying that since before we had a written the Cheese Creed.
The Cheese Creed is recently written?
Not recently, but more recently than the founding of Cheesism.
Raf was just misquoting my ALL HAIL THE CHEESE.....or at least, I'm playing it off that way. :P

If you whant to swear why not say the following:
"I declare by the holyness of cheese to eat as many cheeses as I can never to leave them to rot, and to make a beutiful rap for the goodness of the cheese."

Unfortunately some cheese went moldy the other day, so I have kinda failed the not let it rot part :P
I rediscovered how much I love cheese today. I guess it's part of my Italian heritage. I mean, how can Italians NOT like cheese? :P ;D
The only cheeses I don't like are swiss (It just...tastes funny :P ) and fake cheese\cheesefood\Kraft Singles (Yuck!) Other then that, I'm about as cheesy as the next guy. :D

Mmm, Kraft singles are the best :D
EWWW NO!
Ok, not the best. But it's really good for grilled cheese on toast :P
Hah! Grilled Cheese is hundreds of thousands times better with Cheddar. :P
I personally hate it with cheddar :X
* places a new order for cheese to be delivered saturday *
In the weekend there will be another party
You're probably making them wrong, Jason. :P
*grumbles about how he has to do everything around here* ::)
I agree with Jason on the grilled cheese thing. :P
Grilled Cheese RULES with cheddar! :P
Bleh. :X
Maybe you're jsut getting bad cheddar... :P
I've never actually had grilled cheese...
Well, as sandwiches go, I think they rate pretty high. 8)
I like fondue. ;D :P
I love my mom's fondue. She makes it with Kraft Singles. ;P
Kraft has brainwashed all of you. Curse you, Dairy Fairy! :P
Well, my mom adds worchestershire sauce and barbeque stuff. :P
The ONLY scene I have seen from "That '70s Show" was one of the parents having fondue with their friends. The mom said something really funny: "Here's the fondue! It should be called fundue!" :P ;D
XD
I think I saw that once.
Have you ever eaten fondue? It's really fun! The mom has a point. :P
It is fun! XD *stabs bread* *dips in in cheese* *eats it*
You can't go wrong with covering stuff in cheese. :P
We've never had it before. Man, I'm falling behind in the cool foods department... :P
Has anyone ever had the non-cheese fondue? :P
EWWW! What's it made of, then? :o
Well, there's hot oil. You stab itty bitty pieces of steak and put them in it until they cook, then you eat them. It's really good.
Umm...really? *shudders* Fake cheese...
It just cooks the meat. It's like eating steak, only it's already bite size and it's interactive. :P
Then it's not really fondue.
Yes it is.
I've never had fondue before :-\

You know, I can't imagne what kind of no gouda muenster would dislike cheese. Just thinking about it gives me the bleus. But don't worry, I always feel cheddar after a few minutes. :P
HAHAHA! I'm feeling gouda right now--although my palette wants provolone. :P ;D

the cheeze shop
...hmm today special is wensleydale:
...hope you will enjoy it ; ) ...if you prefer another kind of cheese, please notify me ...I may not have everything on stock... but i can order it ; )
whoa whoa whoa Wensleydale is a real cheese!? I thought that was made-up from Wallace and Grommet...now I want some.
hooray for random old thread!?
This is quite the act of necromancy! XD Still, it's a thread about cheese, and cheese is good, so...
Oh! Random cheese comic. (http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=2590#comic)
Also, I need to get a cheese grater but I can't find one in the shops round here :S
It reminds me of the aunts in Pushing Daisies! XD
Also, another implication of the comic is that if one is not actively involved in the production of cheese, then one is failing at life. :o ((Also, also, the stilton is to die for... Jesus jokes. ::))) But, see, if this were true, offerings would have been cheese, not lambs. :P *is over-analyzing... (it's a thing which I do)*
Pushing Daisies! Oh, now I miss it again :(
I never watched it. The concept kinda creeped me out.
But I enjoy cheese. Not as much as I used to, since I can't eat so much rich stuff anymore, but I like a good hunk of Swiss or Provolone cheese on a sandwich. Drool.
I'm really into cottage cheese misself. Lots of people think it's scary because of the texture. I think it's wonderful because of its deliciousness.
It's done really whimsically. :) There's a narrator who almost always speaks in verse at the beginning of each episode, really lovable, eccentric characters and kind of ridiculous but really wonderful plots. :) I think you'd like it. :)
I've recently discovered 'exotic' types of brie! So brie stuffed with chives or plum. :D It's delicious.
Speaking of cheese... just made this (http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/No-Bake-Chocolate-and-Cream-Cheese-Pie-5733)... I was all... I have this cream cheese and I have this chocolate (leftovers from Thing III)
I freaking love cheese. There's a Greek store near where I live that has a whole section of imported cheeses (over half a dozen types of feta alone). I like to go there and just browse. They also have free samples. Among my favorites are a wine goat cheese, called Drunken Goat, and a truffle cheese that has an ash rind. There's also an awesome blue cheese wrapped in leaves.
Anyway, I am addicted to cheese. My homemade pizzas will always have multiple cheeses (up to 4 or 5) on them and my alfredo sauce is incredibly rich and cheesy. I cannot stress this enough. I adore cheese.
I'm so happy to see posts in this thread again. This thread is like vital to the humanity... and the cheesity... of these forums. :D
I for one am debating finding all manner of recipes which use cream cheese... having made the aforementioned pie and a cheese cake and having previously made sweet rolls with a cream cheese frosting, I have found that cream cheese is interesting and fun to work with. :D
And should always be fed to me. You forgot that step.
I'm surprised that there aren't more (legible) recipes for cheese in Spanish and Portuguese on the Internet. Spanish-speaking countries tend to be big fans of cheese, and I'm sure the Brazilians and Portuguese have plenty. I did, however, find a good French site with quite a few recipes. If anyone's interested, I'll link it here (http://www.epicurien.be/recettes/fromages/recette-fromage.asp). I can't touch the stuff anymore, but... I was addicted to my cheese. Even the cheapy kinds worked for me.
Don't forget www.Fromages.com! (Interesting selection.)
It's my birthday tomorrow (in 12 minutes!), and I would like everyone to post pictures of interesting cheesecakes in this thread as celebration.
Thank you.

Well, it's late and I don't really understand the idea of smearing curdled white liquid from mammary glands on top of cakes (but then again milk and me are not good friends).
Well, Green Tea Cheesecake sounds interesting, anyway. I'm not sure whether it would be good or not.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Green tea ice cream isn't bad.
Heck, green tea isn't bad!
Deloria and I got Brie last week. It went runny. We left it on a plate and it expanded in a near-perfect circle. We had to contain it by putting the lid of a pot over it. Then it set. Eventually we had to scrape it off the plate and throw it away.
That concludes our cheese story.
We should have known better. The Cheese Shop sketch has revealed that soft cheeses go very, very runny and then the cat gets into them. :(
