Hi everyone!
I guess the subject line is enough of an introduction...
Terve!
Haha, welcome Simo! Man, now I want Godiva chocolates....
I don't get it. ??? Anyway, welcome! :D
Thanks for the welcomes! :) snabbott, don't worry, it's an obscure Gabriel Knight 3 reference. And, well, one thing I know for a fact about myself is that I'm not Godiva chocolates, so it is accurate, too. :D
Oh! *needs to play GK2 and 3 sometime*
I thought maybe you were saying TSL is not Godiva chocolates. :P
Well, all the GKs are on sale at GOG for 2.99 today...so now is the time, Stephen!

Definitely didn't mean that, Steve! :)
I just wanted to put something other than "hi" or "new member" on the subject line (nothing wrong with those, of course), and I've grown attached to this tagline. I've used it at the
Gabriel Knight forums (at the Gabriel Knight 4 Campaign site) as well...
But to be honest, I don't think I've ever eaten Godiva chocolates. Still quite sure I'm not like them, though! :D Sorry, it sounds sillier the more I explain.
Hey Simo. Good to see you around. Welcome!!!
Hey César! Thank you very much! Great to be here!
Welcome! I have no idea what Godiva chocolates are. :P
Thank you, Deloria! I think they are just extra-yummy chocolates. Gabriel says in Gabriel Knight 3 that the Rennes-le-Château hotel's free chocolates "ain't Godiva chocolates, but sugah is sugah" (quoted from memory, complete with accent). :)
They are extra-yummy. Though I don't know how they compare to chocolates in Switzerland.
While I am a complete chocolate snob, I generally stick to Swiss, which is why I've not heard of them. :P I love fresh chocolate. :D I'm going to buy some more this week so I can have lots of sugar highs and be more productive. :D
The words "Swiss" and "chocolate" just go together. :D Although chocolate I've seen as "Swiss" is usually milk chocolate (not that this necessarily reflects reality), and I very much prefer dark chocolate. !!!
We have everything. :)
Swedish Marabou also makes some delicious chocolates. However, I weaned myself from sweets and chocolates some 13 years ago, so I very rarely eat chocolate anymore. (It may sound hard to believe, but after a while you genuinely no longer miss it.)
Mmmm... Marabou. Personally I like Panda.
Heh, this thread will yet be the downfall of many chocaholics... When I still ate chocolate, I was loyal to Marabou, very rarely tried Panda...
In hindsight it seems crazy, but when I was a kid, every Friday, when Agatha Christie's Poirot was on TV, I would eat like a whole slab of Marabou chocolate, sometimes together with a bag of potato chips (sweet and salty work great together). The crazy part is that I never gained weight or anything back then. So I could eat with impunity, actually even remain underweight.
I used to be just like that. :P Now I barely eat at all and still maintain the same BMI. :P
I've got Kit Kats, Hershey's Kisses, M&M's, and Cookies 'n Creme Hershey bars within my reach now.
And no, it's not Halloween candy. That was all a gift for Hailey from Hailey.:pleased:
