so when you say An Erica Reed Thriller is she a already a established character somewhere else or does it imply a possibility for a series or both?
I'm pretty sure she is an original character that was created specifically for this project that may or may not lead to a series of titles. That's probably why they stuck with the subtitle.

Before the game was announced, I did a google search on "Erica Reed," and this was the only significant hit. Today, that same search gives a bunch of results about Cognition. :D
