Since no indie game can get more than month without someone asking ;)
Any chance of a Linux version?
-
At the moment we honestly don't know for sure - I know Unity is working on making that a possibility so we'll definitely look into it.
-
You have at least one person who'd be more inclined to buy if there's native Linux support.
-
Any news regarding this topic?
I tried to play cognition under wine. It works fine beside of saving and loading is not possible.
Because you are going to develop moebius which should have a Linux Version as written in the Kickstarter campagin (>400K goal), I would like to know if there is hope for cognition (nativ) on linux, too?

Linux user here as well. Would love a linux version.

Unity 4 has Linux support, so once we are able to afford licenses for it we can work on releasing the game on Linux. :) I have high hopes that it won't require much change to the code since Unity is pretty good about cross-platform compatibility.
-
Out of curiosity, has anyone done any testing with Unity 4? I know there can sometimes be issues working in a new version.
-
I use Unity 4 for another company and there weren't any major issues during the transition. And I rather like a lot of the new improvements in the engine. :)

Bumpy-bump.
I have $30 burning a hole in my pocket. I still want to buy this, but I still want it on Linux. Been able to get updates on the Unity 4 licensing situation?

I just asked and it sounds like the goal is to upgrade to Unity 4 once we have all 4 episodes released. :) I would love to have it out sooner but it's definitely on the horizon!
We definitely have many people that want to see the game on Linux, so rest assured that it will happen!!
