DECEMBER 30th, 2011 - After more than five years of working on the game, bit by bit in their spare time, the team at INFAMOUS ADVENTURES (www.infamous-adventures.com (http://www.infamous-adventures.com)) has released their remake of the 1987 classic, "SPACE QUEST II: Vohaul's Revenge".  Originally written and programmed by Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe and released by Sierra On-Line, the game features the hapless hero, janitor Roger Wilco in a rollicking adventure that takes him through space!

Remade in a classic retro "VGA" style, like Sierra's later point and click adventures from the early 1990's, Space Quest II Remake provides hand-drawn backgrounds, hand animated characters, a full voice pack featuring over 4,000 recorded lines and a whole lot of extras and fun.  A labor of love and devotion to the original series, the team at Infamous Adventures is proud to be able to release this to the fans, both young and old.  Visit www.infamous-adventures (http://www.infamous-adventures) for more details.

FINALLY, IT'S OUT! WOOHOO! NO SLEEP FOR ME TONIGHT! I think for now I'll leave this where it is; maybe in about two days or so I'll merge it, but I think it deserves it's own thread for the moment.

EDIT: Scratch that. My PC is upstairs in my bedroom, and I'm too lazy to go up, turn it on, wait for it to boot up, wait for the internet to connect, browse to the site, download the game, and install the game. I'll just wait for the mac build. That, or I'll download the PC version tomorrow. Either way, I'm very excited about this!

Be sure to check out the pdf manual included in the game directory.  It's got a lot of great custom content, and was just as much a labor of love as the game itself!  ;)

Following hot in the footsteps of my team-made fan-game "Vohaul Strikes Back" (http://www.sqvsb.com) and IA's "SQ2 Remake" (http://www.infamous-adventures.com), I'm proud to finally announce the release of "Space Quest: Incinerations."

Based on the Sierra game series from Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, SQInc is an adventure game six years in the making. It re-imagines the SQ universe in the style of a modern sci-fi action-thriller, featuring 3D-rendered sprites and backgrounds, over 45 minutes of fully-animated cinematics, alternate endings, trophies, and over an hour's worth of original music.

As an animator, this game has been a real thrill ride to make. I want to thank everyone who's supported it, along with the talented people who've contributed their efforts to making it happen. I also want to thank the adventure game community for staying alive and staying strong.

I feel absolutely compelled to download this... ... but for now, I'm going to bed.

Downloaded and added to list of games I really am going to play hopefully this year.  There are cons to being uber busy.

why does this game rpck so much harder then VSB and yet have the same staff lol
