Assuming you are using an average sound card, I'd try this.

Double click on the speaker icon, on the bottom right side of the screen.

Click options, properties, recording.

Check all of the volume controls.

Click OK.

Then make sure everything you need is checked.

If that doesn't work, I don't have anymore ideas.

lol no problem, you had Line In as the only thing selected (instead of Microphone)  ;P

I have a PC Ross Microphone that works fine on my Computer.

It appears when i use a certain Microphone, my Computer freeze. Its a PC Microphone Telex.

Can someone give me a site about PC Microphones, i just want to see what the requirements are for a PC Microphone.

I would go with Logitech (http://www.computermania.co.za/products/product_details.php?id=26&parent_id=4&prod_id=323).  They've been around for ages.  :)

Hee, I never knew Logitech made webcams!

I know I love their other input devices... I have a Logitech mouse, keyboard, and gamepad. <3

I think the two major disttributors/makers of Webcams are Logitech and Creative. (at least what I've seen)
I think Logitech is a better buy altogether.

Yeah, I would say that Logitech is probably the leader in input devices. 8)

I have a Fuji Webcam, but that is because i bought a digital camera with built in webcam ;)
