Pretty much everyone got this riddle correctly when I introduced it to a few people and then again when I let you all take guesses from the last article. Maybe it was easier to solve than I hoped, but I liked it too much to revamp the whole thing just for the sake of "complicating" it :) The Sphinx section in these past few stories were fun to write because A) King's Quest REALLY should have had a Sphinx riddle puzzle and now it does and B) it gave me the opportunity to stop the journey a little bit to show the characterization and relationships between the characters, and hopefully that was appreciated by the readers.
I hope those of you who have been following this story will enjoy what's coming next!
