I need to get the tape recorder from Gallager. The walkthrough says I need to ask for Terence's help but he wouldn't help. (Maybe because earlier I chose not to "scratch his back" and forced him)
I also thought of calling Gallager to distract her but I cant make a call on the phone.
What do I do now? ???
Hmm you're on the right track. Are you sure you have the number? If not, is there a way you can get it?

Yes I have the number indeed. I opened the "contacts" in the phone but when I click on Galleger's number Erica only says it's Galleger's number. There is no dialing icon or other option. I think I'm supposed to call her anyway...but how? ???
If the goal is to draw Gallagher away from her recorder, is there a better option to call her?

I've finished the game. It's really a great game, except that some scenes cannot be skipped. I really got impatient at some points.
Btw, will it be an additional ending if I chose to go to interrogation with Sully instead of John? Anyone chose Sully?
I chose Sully for the interrogation. I might have to replay and see what's different with choosing John.

Heh it actually did work that way at one time, while we were working on setting up the game logic to handle calling her directly from the phone. So you do remember correctly, we just "fixed" it.
Oh, good - I haven't totally lost it. :)
I took Sully for the interrogation too, got a bit lost at this tape-recorder thing but found the trick: we have to call Gallagher + do so while we are at the morgue!
(I kept on trying from other places, thinking we had to have Gallagher leave the morgue...)
Having a serious problem here on the tape recorder. I "scratched Terence's back", but when I asked him for help with Gallager he said he didn't have time. But I also can't call either!! Not sure what to do here, am I bugged?
I can't really remember as it's been a while but I don't think Terrence gives you anything for helping him.
What're you looking for? the tape recorder?

Yes I have. My concern is that based on walk throughs I've resorted to in an attempt to figure this out that I somehow ended up bugged - I had the option to ask Terence for help with Gallagher and he said gruffly that he didn't have time, despite helping him earlier. :-(

And you did get an antique piece from him by sending a fake email from your boss to Gallagher right? You didn't threaten to rat him out to get it?

The saved games on Macs are located in the users/(username)/library/caches area.
I don't see any folder matching that. I don't even see a folder called "caches" - if it helps I'm running 10.8.2. Is there a name of some kind I can search for to help find it, it doesn't appear to match what I name it in the game.

it's an old topic, but it seems like i'm having the same problem as robustyoungsoul.
i helped terence with the storage space and got the piece of the antique, but i don't have any option to ask him to help me now. i remember that i asked him before for help with dr gallagher, but that was before i even knew of the storage space problem. seems like i could only ask him once and then neverever again :-X
what can i do now? besides starting all over again...

Cannot get help from Terence. Note I could NEVER send the email to Terence.
If I try to call the Morgue I get the dialog saying I don't need that now ???
The biggest problem with this game seemly NOT being able to backtrack and do something you missed, or correct something.
Help?
You can distract Gallagher by either sending Terence to distract her. If you want Terence to help you, sneak into Davies' office and discover her computer's password, then email Gallagher.
