Title: A Story makes the heart go yonder! 02/03/13
Post by: writerlove on February 03, 2013, 03:56:46 PM
The objective of this thread is to write a story based on a picture. Each week, I will post a picture from the KQ universe with other fandoms mixed in. It's up to the forum member to write what happens. Then the next member can build on what the previous person said.

Here's the inaugural offering:

Tired of being foiled by Mario, Bowser has travelled from one pixellated reality to another, hoping for better luck in the world of King's Quest. Here we see him sneaking up on Alexander, hoping to incapacitate him. He will then disguise himself as the prince, head to Daventry and be welcomed by his "family", who will be none the wiser.

NB: This plan will not work.

Valanice: "Oh son, we've missed you so much! Why, you've got so... big, and... scaly..."

After poking around for an hour and still finding nothing useful I got the faint impression I look in all the wrong places for some interaction. And now I'm just praying there is not some ugly green monster behind me so i can concentrate on whatever it was I was doing here... Let the diary note......

Famous last words.

"Take a gander, Bowser, at my new kingdom! And you shall be in charge of the neighboring kingdom. Just watch out for Pandora's Box."

You guys (and gals) bring pixel-art to the next level...

Am I the only one who is wondering what the guy in the image is doing kneeling at that piece of ice? Seems to me he's trying to keep his head cool or something... or praying... or... both??

It seems to be a story that makes my mind go wonder...

At least the custard pie would make sense in this context considering the clown vehicle. :P
