Title: Bug in Episode 1 with Le Pendu
Post by: TastyMuffins on April 15, 2013, 10:32:22 AM
Had a problem where after I assembled the Le Pendu and unlocked the wheels, it would not accept the answer to the puzzle.  I thought I had done it wrong and was trying every 6-letter name I could think of until I gave up and looked at a walkthrough and found that I did have the right answer.  Frustrating to say the least.  I think the problem was that I unlocked the wheels then exited the puzzle and then came back to it.  I had an earlier save that I had to use and that worked.

1.) Are there patches being released for this game and I just don't know how to get them?
2.) Do you have a bug report tool?

I like the game, but this was beyond frustrating and nearly made me stop playing.

If you could send your most recent saved game to weldon at postudios dot com I'll take a look at that for you and see what's going on.

Sure I can send that later today.  I got through the scene by loading an earlier save, but if it helps you patch the game I'll be happy to help!

Turns out I overwrote the file.  Sorry.  Where do you post patches for the game?  Is there an update tool?

We actually don't have a patching process setup currently. They're kind of a pain to troubleshoot, especially when you're in a situation where you're releasing different versions of the game in different regions.

Oh I see.  Thanks for your prompt reply, I'll come here first if I run into issues with Episode 2.
