Okay not to start a war or anything buuuut... Yikes, not even a single vegetabe in the US one o.O
Couldn't they have a chosen a better representation of a week of US groceries?
There are--on the counter are some grapes and tomatoes. but, yeah, very few of those and a lotof fast food (I include pizza in this).
Interesting. Especially when you look at the much smaller pile for the family in Chad.
If I were to guess a Portuguese one, I'd probably be similar to the Italian one, but with less bread, more fish and UK levels of junk food
Seeing that makes me think :-\ A lot of the countries have too much less than the US does.
Aye, inequalities between the western world and developing nations are staggering :\
And it certainly seems some of those families are happier than others. Notice those that seem to be smiling or having a good time vs. those that don't?
Interestingly enough.. Both the Chad and Mali pictures suggest they're not unhappy with their lot in life.
Edit: Well, maybe just Chad.. but even so..
mm.. it's possible, I hadn't noticed that
Sorry random American family but grocery store pizza is gross...
Some are decent. I'd still prefer a local mom and pop shop's pizza though. :)
The smiling in some cases could be a cultural thing, too.
The best Pizza I ever had comes from a restaurant that really doesn't inspire a lot of confidence... but man... do they make good Pizza

I live 20 minutes from New Haven, CT which is world famous for their pizza. So famous in fact, there's a wikipedia page about it. There's actually a Pepe's branch in my hometown. It's so good! Om nom nom

LOL, living in Boston and knowing many people from the CT-NJ-NY area, I have heard so much about Pepe's but still never been. I really need to fix that.
Sounds interesting. I'll skip the clams, though. :X

That's like their signature pizza, but I usually just get the pepperoni and mushroom.
I still say the Mexican Pizza I ate on that restaurant was awesome! ;D
This the best pizza that I personally have ever had:

(In a thread where pizza gets brought up, it was inevitable that this image would appear sooner or later.)
hey, you should be watching the live party for the Episode 3 launch :P (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q62HOULGYwg)
I did.. but it was basically over :(

True. I hadn't really considered that. I guess my point was that it didn't seem faked. *shrug*

I never could defeat that thing. (Playing as a magic user.)
Actually, it's pretty much equally hard to beat it no matter what class you play as, since its defense is so high that every attack you make against it does literally 1 damage.
Hmmm. I was thinking it was resistant to magic. It's been a long time, though.
