Title: Visual artifacts in Cognition: Episode 1
Post by: Confused Pumpkin on June 21, 2014, 06:46:44 PM
After the cutscenes at the beginning of the game, the initial scene has weird visual artifacts for me. It looks like perhaps different color layers are not lining up properly; it's similar to watching a 3D movie without the 3D glasses on. As best I can tell, this issue does not disappear if I continue into subsequent scenes, and it's bad enough as to make the game unplayable. I've tried changing the display settings, both on starting the game and the anti-aliasing setting within the game. I'm running the game on Windows 8.1, so I've also tried the Windows 7 compatibility setting. None of that has had any effect. I downloaded the game directly from Phoenix Online.

I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 card, with a quad-core i7-4770 processor and lots of memory. Video card and monitor drivers are up to date. Any suggestions?

Can you run dxdiag on that system and send the results into support@postudios.com? Thanks!
