Title: Thanks so much!
Post by: erenoth2002 on July 04, 2014, 10:03:06 PM
;D I just wanted to say thank you so much for recreating this much beloved series :) I've thoroughly enjoyed playing through the series.  ;D you've done some amazing work for a free to play title.

Its too bad that it took so long to come out, as I used to play the originals with my family but unfortunately my family is far away now Ill have to look forward to sharing it with my own family one day.

I just wanted to post to say I think it's lovely to see new people coming by and actually leaving some positive words of feedback to the team.  I think they do a brill job and, among the negativity there has been recently, it's nice to see someone actually being complimentary.

For the record, I agree :)

Honestly never let my negativity or criticism to hide the fact that I really do appreciate and enjoy the Silver Lining games.

In fact I criticized it so much because I was so gripped and so pleasantly entertained that I cared enough to highlight every single part of the game inside my head... and your writing was good enough that when I say something missing or odd, I didn't chalk it up to typical game writing "Of course it is a plothole, its just a game", I treated you like seasoned vets.

Heck I wasn't even very consistent either...

In the end this game is a suitably epic tale with painful amounts of continuity to close out a long series that seemingly had no end. You treated every single character with respect as if they are all worthy to be main characters in their own right and it shows. Even when Graham was the hero you never glorified him to the point where he was superior to his family but rather an equal, something I think even Sierra could have got wrong.
