Well, I would have voted for adventure..but that's a given. So I decided to go with puzzle.
The only two genres I really care for as a general rule other than adventure are puzzle and RPG. Although so far I've only played 3 PC RPGs. (Played several console ones, though.)

I kinda like Driving and 3rd person shooters. (Hitman, Splinter Cell, Dead to Rights, Max Payne)
Never really got into RPG's, but Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic....wow. LOOOOVED THAT GAME.
I don't really follow any particularly genre, really, though. Just whatever gets recommended to me and what I think I'll be interested in.
I was gonna put Puzzle or Other (Adventure), but recently I'm enjoying Diablo II and it's kinda fun. So I picked Real Time Strategy. ;D
Diablo2 is an RPG... not RTS.

Most people call Diablo "hack & slash".
I consider it a mix of RTS, and RPG.

P.S. I'm mad I didn't add RPG >:( . It's the genre I've been playing, since adventure games became hard to find.
An example of an RTS is WarCraft 3...
The key word in RTS is Strategy...

Actually, there are mini-missions/quests to solve as well. And sure you can call it an RPG too I guess, I just wanted to pick something from the list. ;P
It has a similar interface to a RTS.
The RPGers say that Diablo1/2 isn't a real RPG, so I think everyone can call it what they want.
I'll call it a RTHaSRPG(make of it what you will).

But since this isn't the point of the exercise... I choose puzzle. That's about the only other genre I'd touch beside RPG and adventure, and those two aren't on the poll 8)

Shouldn't you have put the "Other" category over the "all the above and other" one? that way you could have just said "all the above" (Yes, I do realize this goes above & beyond nitpicking ::))

Not really. I told myself that when I was making it, unlike the RPG problem. If you need an explination(and will settle for a bad one), look at the time it was posted(and consider my timezone).
I said other mine was adventure becaue the only other good game that is not adventure is halo
I went for FPS because its the Genre that im best at :D, RPG is also a strong genre for me ;D, but unfortunately i dont class Diablo2 as an RPG :-\, i thinks its more strategy :-\
