Title: Game Freezing Issues (PLAYER ALERT!)
Post by: The Hero on December 24, 2014, 12:40:25 PM
Hi there folks,

Greetings from the Quality Assurance (QA) team. I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of a number of issues that prevent progress in some areas within the game. This is due to an error in our codebase that has since been corrected, which we had hoped to include in a patch before the holiday season. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we can't release the patch at this time because some little nasties are still hiding away and we want to make sure we get them all!

Some Common Issues:

1. Chapter 3 - Asking Dexter about FITA causes lock up
2. Chapter 5 - Can't talk with Karl in library
3. Chapter 3 - Talking to G before giving flower at cherries on top causes lock up
4. Chapter 6 - puzzle box in FITA office lock up
5. Chapter 6 - ring lock up
6. Chapter 6 - Markhams office lock up

To combat those issues we are providing saves that will bypass these issues. Please place them in your platform's save directory.

Default save directories are:
Steam PC - Steam\userdata\(your user id)\264520\remote\Moebius

DRM-free PC - C:\Users\(username)\AppData\LocalLow\Phoenix Online Studios\Moebius (This folder is hidden)

Steam Mac - Users/(macusername)/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/(steamid)/264520/remote/unity.phoenix online studios.moebius

DRM-free Mac - Users/(macusername)/Library/Cache/Phoenix Online Studios/Moebius

Here's how to display hidden files and folders.

To ensure Steam recognizes your new saves:
1. Exit Steam.
2. Rename and renumber file(s) if needed, always renumbering higher than the highest in-game save's number.
3. Move save file(s) to Steam save folder.
4. Restart Steam.

We hope to have a patch out some time in January. On behalf of the team, I want to apologize for any trouble this has caused.
