Hey,
Just seen the screenshots for KQ9, amazing. Then I read it wont be out until late 2004, :(. Long wait but Im sure it wil be worth it.
Does anyone remember a year or two back when websites were offering free complete downloads of classic sierra adventure games? Then they all got shut down. Well, Im just wondering how Amazon.com have people making money from selling kings quest games yet they face no legalities.
The community is still strong. Tierra is creating a buzz and bringing us all out of the woodwork. I am willing to bet that once KQ9 comes out this community will be huge. Eventually, we are going to get the attention of the industry. If they ever try to shut this project down lets all fight back. (I.E throw stones at the headquarters.)
Welcome to the KQ9 forums, WW! I'm MM (weirdo), and I hope you enjoy it here! We're all waiting very patiently for the game to be completed, so GO KQ9 TEAM :D
I have all the KQ games, but I lost my KQ6 *CRY*
Yikes, you lost the box and manual too or just the disks?
Welcome from me too.
Yonkey, when someone says they lost a game, it's usually at least the disc(s). 8)
lol, not necessarily :P I usually copy software to my computer or burn to CD's(I stopped using floppies years ago). But you can't really play the game without the manual and you need the manual to complete the game.
Anyway, I read in some other thread that MangoMercury found the game. Woohoo! ;D
Isn't there a site somewhere out there where you can get the information that is in that manual?
William Wallace - Welcome!
Is that your real name? :D
As far as I know, all of those games are available to download on the internet in some form, although not legally. :-X
I don't see the problem with people who sell KQ games on Amazon.com, if they sell original games. ::)
Not my real name but I seen braveheart about 50 times heh.

Not quite, she just found Toonstruck but KQ6 is still missing... hopefully it is found soon.
It'll turn up soon! It HAS to! I tend to lose things for several months, then they randomly show up again. I was happy to find Toonstruck, but will be even happier to find KQ6!
Luckily, I haven't lost the manual (I don't think...), I'd tell you, but I can't find the box! I think it's upstairs... I'm so silly :P But if any of you know where I've put my KQ6 to, be sure to tell me!
Maybe if you call the Psychic Hotline... ;)
Hi William Wallace! Welcome to the boards - nice handle :suffer:
I think amazon.com can make money w/o legal issues because it's more or less like they're a store selling games, just online and not in a mall. They're a distributor.
And I think they don't actually have copies of them anymore, anyhow.
There are usual copies available for not much on eBay, Mango, if you definitely can't find it!
katie was here today and she didnt saw me and bushie wishing her happy bday
TODAY IS KATIES BDAYY!!! if you see her around wish her a happy bday
