Ok from a previous topic we are making this thread for reporting your dreams if you can remember them...
eg) my dream last night was influenced by my decision to go see will smith in london on wednesday, and so it was the last thing on my mind and this happend- I met will smith at my local shop and got his autograph and he gave me and my best friend a lift home in his fast sports car.
So yeah, the more weird and wonderful, the better! :)

Heh, I had the weirdest dream last night. I was in my car driving on the highway to some far off city and accidentally took the wrong exit -- twice! Then I noticed I was on top of some huge hill and had no idea where I was. I think I asked someone how to get back on and they said to go down the cliff or something.
So I drove down it (as if I'm in a Jeep or something hahah) and it was like driving down a square winding staircase in a house. When I got to the bottom, some YMCA-looking Cop came up to me and was like "Stop right there Mr, no cars can pass". Then some gorgeous blonde woman walked by and I was like "Hey, miss! I need to get back on the highway and the only place-" "Go on ahead"
So I almost run over the cop and then I'm driving on some beach which turns into the highway again. 8)

i love those dreams where u go back to where u woke up, but you havnt had the dream for like months, or when u suddenly remember a dream when something in reality trigger the memory.

There's two types of dreams I tend to have often.
One is where I'm trying to get to work, and all sorts of crazy annoying stuff happens and it takes me forever to get through it, and I end up being really late for work. (On a similar note, I sometimes have dreams where I'm really late for work because I completely forgot where I work! :P )
The other is where I'm trying to drive, and for some reason I just can't do it. The steering wheel won't turn, the pedals won't push, I can't stay in the lanes properly, the gear shift won't move... just bizarre stuff. I either end up crashing, or running someone over, or just barely making it to some spot where I stop the car and get out. :P
Seeing as how I've never been more than a half-hour late for work (and that very, very rarely), and I don't drive, I'm not really sure why I keep having these sorts of dreams.
As for my dreams in general, I've found that the geography in my dreams is usually from my hometown... my old house, streets from my home city, etc. But my jobs and the people I interact in my dreams with are usually things/people from here in Springfield.

Mine last night was weird. I'm in a house that's being completely remodeled (we're talking a 19th century home) with some friends. Well, some guy comes in--a friend of the family's, but very dishonest--and we aren't supposed to let him wander around the house. Anyway, he wanders and I encounter him in the kitchen. I try to get him to leave and he pushes me out of the way. Next thing I know, he's taken down and a guy comes up to me. He asks me if he's ok, and I find out he's a Navy SEAL...*sigh* IRL, they're BUILT...and so was the one in my dream...shows how sad my RL is! :P

My car-related dream was several nights ago, but the end of it was *so* cool that I've had an urge to dance on (parked) cars ever since and I remember it. I'm gonna copy-paste from the other board I posted this on, because it's LONG.
So, it starts off like it's just a normal day, I'm in my apartment (who knows where the apartment came from :P) and there's a knock on the door. So I go to answer it, and, lo and behold! It's someone I've never seen before!
Anyhow, apparently, this person is reporter doing a "Day in the Life of Graham" article for their magazine or something. Anyways, so then I go through my normal (RL) morning routine which nobody really cares to hear about, except that I answer fan mail (yeah, uh....:-\) at one point.
Anywho, after breakfast, it's out the door to a place which I refered to as "the set". Well, apparently in this dream I'm doing an X-Men movie, it's the set of that. Anyhow, (my memory gets fuzzy here, it was really strange) I was playing a character Multiple Man. So, the bizarre parts is they weren't editing in the special effects later, they were actually happening while we were filming.
So, after a whole day of filming the cast (including myself) decides we want to go out and party. So we go to this club (with bad music). It closes at 9 pm. (I TOLD you the dream was weird) So anyways, we're all standing outside the club thinking about what to do, and then I got into a car (I assume it was mine) and turned on the radio, then got back out, climbed on top of it, and proceeded to dance. On top of the car.
Side notes:
-Yes, this Hollywood movie thing does seem to be becoming an obsession. :P
-Multiple Man is a character from the X-Factor comics. He was a mutant with the ability to create up to 40-something duplicates of himself. He was AWESOME. Though not as cool as Quicksilver....
-The car I was dancing on was PARKED! PARKED!
So, yeah, today I was hanging out with a couple of my friends and mentioned my desire to dance on top of a parked car. They both cracked up (they're the type who would do this :P) and then were like "We have the stuff to do that..a car...a radio...ourselves..." but, well, Johnna wanted to get cookies *and* see Catwoman (ee gad, she doesn't get to pick the movies anymore) so we didn't stop the car.
Didn't Michael Jackson dance on top of a parked car? ??? Or was that just pure vandalizing? :P
Hee! Somehow, Questie, I could so see you playing Jamie in his X-Men Evolution incarnation.. he's just so adorable! (ahem) Somehow I don't think you're going to be pleased by that assessment, though. (hides)

OMG! Jamie/Multiple Man was on X-Men Evolution?? SWEET!! Although, I have to admit, I'd rather play Quicksilver (as I mentioned, the latter is cooler). In case you couldn't tell, X-Factor is quite probably my favorite of the X-Teams. (Do we need a comic book thread too? :P)

Okay, so I looked up X-Men Evolution. All my favorite mutants have been in it...and then some! Someone explain why I only watched two episodes!
Shadowcat, Nightcrawler and Rogue, I knew about them. Although, making Rogue all....angsty seems bizarre to me. But they also had (aside from both Multiple Man and Quicksilver, albeit evil Quicksilver) (btw, the description given for Multiple Man makes him sound not as cool) Iceman, Colossus (but evil, which is how I didn't like him), AND Angel (not Archangel, yay for not having purple skin or whatever)!

I'll try and describe this dream I had to do with drugs, shotguns, women hijaking a bus, more drugs hidden in a college, monks and a whole bunch of other wierdness.
SO
It starts of with me walking up a motorway (yanks: Highway :P) but its like theres been some heavy ass earthquake and the roads all tore up and fractured and broke and stuff. So I'm walking up the road and I get to a coach that for some reason I think I was riding on. So I just stand around it then these two women walk upto the coach and suddenly each pulls a shotgun out from their trousers (YES TROUSERS :P) and starts shooting holes into the coach.
So yeah they're shooting up the coach and everyones running off it and this group of poeple I dont know (apart from one guy who goes to my school who I dont really know...) start to crawl down...a sand dune. Yep now we're at a sand dune that happens to be at the side of a motorway ??? So we're crawling down and one of the women chases after us and shoots one of our group and then drags them off to a hole. We spend the night just hiding in this other hole hearing shots and screaming and stuff and befre day comes we make a run for it and end up at a theology college!
When we get there its all empty and we go to rooms and stuff. So I'm there and then I wake up (in dream) to a noise I look out the window and see something move (we're high up and i see something move far off on a big field, imagine the scene from Harry Potter and the Prisoner from Azkaban where Harry sees the bulldog and cat taking a stroll...)and wake everyone up. We all kinda run out and find a room filled with coke and other assorted drugs (needls and stuff urgh) and then the place kinda turns all high tech and futuristic. So we're running and as we do, people keep dissapearing till theres 4 of us and we're being chased by a guy with a shotgun because he thinks we have something of his. We end up at this room and then no one talks but I somehow know its all down to a drug trafficers smuggling that everyones gone and its just us 3 and then..............
I woke up! It was just the most real and movie like dream I've ever had! Bizarre.
Oh yeah I had this other HORRIBLE dream where there was this old radio and the antenna was all hollow. So this guy tells me to take a puff of the antenna like its a spliff or something ( ???) and I say no but this friend of mine does and I can taste as if its me doing it. If you've ever had a ventolin inhaler then you'll know what im talking about as it tasted kinda like that but mixed with something that I'd describe as a battery acid taste (I havent had any just the thought of what it would taste of). So he takes a drag and then opens his mouth and its fine. Does it again and it starts to bleed a bit. Does it AGAIN and...urgh his mouth is full of rusty old nails and theres just blood pouring out and he kinda turned really old....then I woke up.
YAY nice dreams and images in my head atm!

I also have lots of out-of-control-car dreams. Only in mine I usually try to stop the car and the brakes don't work properly - they only slow the car down a bit, even when I press them down all the way. I do drive IRL, but nothing like that ever happened to me.
The last dream I can remember - it's just a fragment of it - there's this big lens like for a telescope or a camera only huge and black and yellow and completely black. There's writing on it I'm trying to read but I can't make out, I think it said "canon". It's on a high shelf and it belongs to my father, and the guy next to me, I tell him not to touch it 'cause he'll break it and I know he won't listen, he never listens to me the b****** just out of spite.

Heh, yeah, which is why I said you'd probably not be thrilled with my comparision. He's sort of the "kid brother" of the series. Adorable... has some delightfully demented ideas at times, but kind of gets walked on and head-patted a lot.

Hmm, what do you think would happen if I wrote a letter to the writers of that movie and told them I thought it would be brilliant to put Multiple Man in an X-Men movie...and then mentioned in passing in the letter how I'm an aspiring screen actor? :P
For what it's worth, Questie, Jamie/Multiple Man gets a brief bit of mention as a teen in the second X-Men movie's novelization, I believe it was (too lazy to check whether it was the first or second one at the moment), and he sounded interesting enough. So if they made a filmed movie version of him, you'd be all set. He even had a cute love interest! ;)

That would be awesome--although she's really always been meant for Colossus (up until Marvel killed him...geez, it's no wonder no one reads their books anymore...). I mean, she was like the reason he stopped being evil (aside from it being a stupid plot twist to begin with :P) Still, Jame and she could have somethin' goin' on, I wouldn't argue. ;)
Yah, basically, X-Men, and X-Men 2. They're both nice reads... I love a good novelization. :) It's X-Men 2 specifically, BTW, I got off my lazy butt and checked.
Unfortunately, it wasn't Kitty who was his love interest, it was Siryn... the girl who screams really loud. She sounded a lot more interesting in her small bit part in the novelization than her teeny bit part in the movie.

Okay, okay.
I had this dream two nights ago where I was in this sort of high tech catherdral. It was all huge and white and for some reason I thought I was in the future. Anyways, Gandalf was there and everyone knew that the world was gonna end or somthing and for some reason it was connected to this big black train which was coming towards the building. So Gandalf and I built some sort of small cube which was supposed to save the world. Except Gandalf pressed it too soon and so it didnt work. So, I stepped up and shouted "I'm gonna save the world!" After which some woman shouted at me that I couldnt because I wasn't cool enough... or something. To make a long story short, I jammed the button on the cube down jsut as the train was about to end the world and it stopped. I think I remember shouting "Oh, what now biotch!" to the woman who said I couldnt do it.
And... its not over yet.
So then I kinda misteriously met this attracitve girl who just kinda walked up to me. And so we flew away to some huge city and stated breaking windows. Eventually we wenty back to her place where I emt ehr sister...I think.
Then I woke up.
My dream last night-
In a car...AGAIN! but this time it was matthew broderick in a police outfit and we were driving by my nans and had to hide part of this strange key away from someone...and something about ann summers was in there, then my family got in the car and we were goin to a party, but then it switched to 2 teams racing and tryin to get to this certain point at the same time.
it was all weird, all involved cars (apart from when i had to ride my bike to a restaurant and met my friend stew) but yeh i dont understand what was goin on!
Ok...I had another dream last night. This one about clinic. I was asking my clinic supervisor if the schedule was finally done so I'd know who my client was this semester. She hands me a list and it's HUGE...so I'm going down the list and I find my client. I'm excited because from the looks of it, I will only have one client, instead of two (which would just mean a TON more work on my part). Anyway, I prepare for my client and then get into the clinic about a week later. And I find another list of clients and clinicians. What do I find out?? That I have a second client!! PANIC! I only prepared for one...not two!
Anyway, that's where I woke up. Pretty sad that I'm already dreaming about clinic and school, and I still have about a month before it starts up again!
:o Siryn was like...12 in the movie. :o :X That's practically pedophilia (is that a word?) seeing as how I'm 17. Maybe they'll introduce somebody new to be Jamie's love interest (if they have him, and I'm playing him :P ). Maybe Wolfsbane or Phoenix (although it would be kind of hard for them to have any of these people from the future, like Phoenix, without them having Apocalypse who would absolutely obliterate their special effects budget...)
Yeah, and last night, I didn't have a single dream I can remember. I was disappointed! Poo poo poo on my dreams! >:(
ok, here what i remember from my dreams last night.
it was my birthday and priya had taken me out to get pizza and the waitress wouldnt let her in with her big picture boards so priya swore at her and we left!
then i was in a school looking for a lost paper that the army needed and i was hiding someones name from them and almost said it...it began with B but i dunno who it was. anyway i ran away tryin to escape and they set these dogs on me which turned into little animated mushroom type thing ons floating eggs and a dinosuar almost ate me in theis tower so i had to get out of the tower, knock one of these mushrooms off its egg and float away, andf u had to knock them off 3 times to kill them (kinda like a weird game) anyway, i had another dream but i cant remember it right now...
this has been another weird dream from the brain of keemeh
those car accident dreams are indeed spooky, they just made me had flashbacks of the ones that I've had before :( and sad to say just ONE happened while I was driving in my car, the rest I wasn't the driver :( oh well, I'm alive that's what counts, or something.

From what my General Psych teacher told us last Fall, the only way you'll remember one of your dreams is if you wake up during it (and don't we get upset if we wake up in the middle of a good dream??). And you do dream every night. So what's going on with you, Say?? You are sleeping so hard when you do get to sleep that you don't wake up in the middle of the night, and hence, you don't remember your dreams.
It's rare that I remember any dreams. I know the one I had last night had Say telling me something, but I can't remember anything else about the dream. :-\

Do you know if you do a certain type of meditation for an hour before bed over a long period you can be concious in your dreams and control them!? Kinda like astral projection but in your head!
I'd do it but I'm not commited enough and im lazy, which is kinda the same thing! Maybe when I'm older...

dream last night- i was online again webcaming with alex! thats what he gets for keeping me up till 2am! nothing happend in the dream...it was just the screen then i heard a cat howling and that was actually real coz cassie was attacking the door >:( and i cant remember any other dreams.

An old dream.
3/4 days before Morrowind came out, I drempt that I played it. The strange thing was, it was in a cartridge(similar to NES, but larger and golden), not a CD.
Morrowind is one of the few games I've drempt about. That cartridge, sadly, probably solidifies my geek status.

I had a dream I was in high school again and I was supposed to already have read & written a report on a 500+ page book for French class. I was supposed to be reading this book the whole summer and only remembered about it now. And it was due this Friday. :o

I was in our old town and was talking with my sister and best friend. Then I relized that I had been scheduled for the exact same hours at both of my jobs! Talk about panic! Anyway, then we were riding our bikes home (so I could get to the phone) and a school bus come barrelling out of nowhere...and that's about it...weird...

I had this dream last night...
I was at a school of some kind. I don't know for what, but it resembled a futuristic version of my old middle school. There was this older girl there... maybe a teacher or something, I'm not sure. At any rate, I really wanted to earn her respect, but she thought I was incompetent. Unfortunately, everything I did only reinforced that assessment... I was late to everything, and I didn't have the skills to help out with anything but the simplest tasks... and even those I managed to completely screw up.
I don't think the dream ever ended, per se... I just woke up while perpetrating yet another screw-up, and getting scolded yet again (by that teacher I was trying to impress).
Nope, no subconscious anxiety issues there! :P

I had another dream last night.
As you may or may not know, my roomies moved out last week...and since then, all the chores have fallen onto my shoulders. Me, being who I am, want to be able to prove that one girl can keep the whole building clean AND keep up with school and work. Anyway, my dream was this: I had quite a few chores to catch up on, and I was working hard. Grabbed some trash bags and headed up to the lobby. Dropped those off to work on something else really quickly. Anyway, I come back to the lobby and one of my former roomies has already emptied the trash. I thank her, and what does she do? She makes some kind of rude comment about how I'm not able to keep the building clean.
Yeah, well, that was my dream...hopefully not foretelling things that are to come!
my dream consisted of a small gecko running around my house which i had to catch, a spider and web weavig itself into my hair, me becoming a small child and needed to go to a special school, alex and matt leaving after my party to go home on a train but i didnt say bye...and thats all i can remember

I don't usually dream about real people unless they're in a film i watched before going to bed. They're usually generic people with no faces and stuff lol.
I didn't remember any dreams this morning becuase firstly my stupid fmaily decided to pile into my room at 5:45 AM!! I mean ffs wtf did they think, I'd be awake or something!? I think there was an alarm going off or something i dunno, stupid house. THEN I woke up at 8 due to my radio being on alarm so I've been up since the unearthly hour of 8 AM now :'(
Hee, the unearthly hour of *8* AM? Gee, I wish I could sleep that late on a regular basis!

Last night I had a really scary dream. See, I was in some city of some kind and somehow befriended Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. And ended up staying at their house. Like....with cameras there and stuff. I mean, it was a nice house and all, and (at least in the dream) they were cool people. But........uh.... :o :-\

Alex: why on earth would your fam come in at 5:45?? You didn't go to bed until, what? 3? And I'd love to be able to sleep in until 8...but my body wakes me up anywhere between 5:30 and 6:30 on normal school days... :(
This is an annoying thread. I don't have enough recent dreams to post. I'm hoping that old dreams are good enough.
After studying math for hours each day(I was having trouble with it, at the time), I started dreaming up problems and the solutions. I think I got most of them right, but I probably dreamed that up too.
I've had a couple of dreams recently, but they've involved either:
a) sex, or
b) meeting forum girls
(Fret not, ladies, not together in the same dream... :S)
So they're basically not dreams I'm willing to share. :)

I had a weird dream last night. Like *really* weird. Lemme see if I can remember it (I woke up several times *during* it, which made it just that much weirder).
Let's see, it started out with some kind of interview where I was talking about ice cream...then I woke up (RL) and adjusted my a/c...
Then I went back to sleep, and woke up (in the dream) in a diner of some sort. And I opened this *big* gift box and pulled out a lot of bubble wrap (which I saved for later), tissue paper, and then finally.....some car keys and a note. Apparently someone had bought me the Spyder that CC had posted a picture of--but it had been done anonymously! So I went out and got in the car...
And then something happens that I don't remember and suddenly I was named "Brian" and I was that guy in Non Sequitor who gets reincarnated all the time? Yeah. And then I don't remember anythnig else....
Now THAT'S an awesome dream!

If I have to get before 8,
that too early. 8 AM, I can just manage. If my body had to wake me up all by itself, (now I have a radio alarm softly waking me up from 7 AM), it would depend on what time I went to bed, but it would most certainly be
later than 8 AM. 8) I'm an evening person, not a morning person.

Hmmm, let's see, the last dream I remember a little bit of, was me having a remote car(-lock) control with more buttons on it than there are now. But that's as far as it goes.
Before that, I had a dream where I got a call on my cell phone, the name on the display read 'April' (don't ask me where I got
that). But when I answered there was a male voice asking me questions about something I posted on this forum the previous night/evening. And what's even more interesting, was that I was expecting it to be

I had a couple of dreams last night. However, as I woke up from the second one, I couldn't remember the first, so I forced myself to remember the first and have now forgotten the second :P Anyway, here's the first and only dream I remember from last night.
I was in class (Fall semester) on the first day. Walk in and sit through class...(boring)...anyway, when class ends, I'm supposed to stay in the same room for my next class, BUT the rooms had switched, which I hadn't been told. So I go out to the desk to find out where I'm supposed to go and it takes them FOREVER to finally tell me. I finally get to my second class (strangely, the room looks exactly like the room from my first class :P). My professor gives us book work, and I discover I have the wrong book. Get through class (more happens here, but I'll just bore you guys) and head to the bookstore to get the right book. Since I don't have the receipt, I can't return the wrong book. As I go into the bookstore, I realize my wallet is missing...meaning I think it's stolen since I always keep it in one pocket of my backpack. So I leave, stressed, and head back to where I'm living, and on the way, I start being followed! Make it back to the building, unlock the door, go inside, try to lock the door back and it takes about 10 tries, b/c the lock doesn't like me!
Oh well...that's kind of vague...but talk about a bad day! Man, I've been dreaming about school too often lately.
I had a few dreams last night too, but the only one I remember is showing my cousin (who's a cop) how to take out his gun, spin it once around his finger and get ready to shoot; all in one smooth motion. XD Of course, I've never done this myself but somehow I knew how to do it. :P
But that's what's the most fun about dreams--doing things that you have never done in RL or haven't had the chance to do!
i was having a really nice dream about a holiday...i was in a pool and this really cute guy was smiling at me, then mum woke me up to tell me i had two letters...yeh thanx i wanted to see where the dream lead to >:( mind u both of the letters were good and not bank statements :suffer:

I had a dream that I went to teh hair dressers and it was this wierd salon/restaurant combo and this waitress/hairdresser was my wife for some reason...really odd. Lol but I got all excited about it and rang to book my appointment to get the mop chopped in hope that there may be some wierd forcasting going on but the person who will be cutting my hair is called Craig (I dont quite know why they told me that...)

Had about three or four dreams last night (in other words, I couldn't stay asleep)...but they we so boring that I'm not going to bore you guys with it. And I think at least two of them were about school again :-\
nah i didnt actualy sleep much, and when i did i was clubbing again!
Last night I had a dream....clearly stemmed from yesterday's LJ entry. I was the villain in a Tomb Raider movie...James was one of my soldier-employee-type-peoples.
Anyways, I was about...19 in the movie. When I turned 21, my father (who paid for all of my employees and all of my antiquity-hunting) was going to force me to start working as part of his business, which I desperately did not want to do.
Anyways, so I had this ring, called the Ring of Achilles. It made the weaer invincible to everything except poison. It also, coincidentally, was needed to find the Fountain of Youth (located somewhere in Peru).
Anyways, there was this scene where Lara Croft interrupted me while I was swimming in my personal swimming pool, and we fought and rolled around on the floor fighting (ok, it wasn't romantic, but it worked :P) , and I escaped.
Anyways, stuff happened and then, at the end, I finally got to the Fountain of Youth which was this really beautiful clearing in the middle of the rain forestwith a bubbling spring in it. Anyhow, Lara Croft confronts me there and I explain how I need the Fountain to prevent myself from aging, so I never turn 21 and never have to work for my father's company (incidentally, I had shot my father and he was now dead, so don't ask me why I was still concerned about that).
She tried to stop me from drinking from the spring, but I managed to get to it and get a drink. Unfortunately for me, there was a dead snake in it and the spring had been poisoned...so I ended up dying from drinking from the Fountain of Youth.
The moral, ladies and gentlemen, is to always boil your water first. :P

Actually, we were rolling around on tile and she was fully dressed (although for Lara Croft that doesn't mean much :P). Plus, we were fighting. It wasn't exactly what I had meant when I was writing about it. Oh well, close enough!

Usually me too. I've gotten shot a few times, and then with my last breaths try to do something. But I think I've had a dream where I've seen myself getting killed (outer body experience?). :-X
I remember this one dream, at least, where a guy I knew was chasing me all over my hometown, and eventually he caught me and stabbed me, and I woke up a split second after I "died". :P
(FWIW, the guy in my dream was an utter psycho in real life, and did try to kill me twice! :P )

I tend to have more third-person dreams. In fact, I've had dreams where I wasn't in the dream at all! (At least, not in any form recognizable as myself.)

I dream both ways. Though I dream more 3rd-person dreams.
I think most of mine are 3rd person, though everything I feel, see and control is as if it were me and not some projection of myself.
Well, I honestly don't remember my dreams well enough to say completely 100% if it's 1st or 3rd person.
I probably have some movie-esque type 3rd person sequences in there...but my instinct still tells me that they're usually 1st person.

And talking about violent dreams, I once had a dream about a guy trying to break into our house. urgh i had a horrible break in dream...it was in my nans and i was screaming but no sound was comign out...very scary, i couldnt warn anyone!

I don't know if I've had any of those dreams where you can't scream, no matter how hard you try. But I will say that repeatedly getting shot at in a dream and you have no clue that it's a dream is (for me) the worst!

I had a reoccuring nightmare in which I was standing in my back yard at sunset. All of the sudden the sun would get in my eyes and a hunter would appear on the hornizon. Then hed shoot me and i'd fall into a rabbit hole.
It was the same every time.
Had two dreams last night...
The first one I was at a friend's house and the water was running in the bathroom. And all these little green bugs/critter things were running all over the place. They tried crawling on me *shivers*. Later, this HUGE rat comes in and goes out through some holes in the wall. Creepy!
The second one was about a guy that I used to want to date (to this day, I believe I was in love with him--but that's another story). Anyway, he and his girlfriend (which he doesn't have right now in RL) came over to my house...and informed me that they were engaged! Argh...talk about waking up with a broken heart!

The same thing happened to me, CC! I was like "I'm gonna post about that dream!" but now I can't remember it.
The opposite happened to me - I woke up and remembered I had a dream, but I didn't remember anything about it. Only later it came back to me:
I was about to have an operation of some sort done on my leg. I was lying on the operating bed and someone was giving me local anesthetic - they put this large patch over my upper leg and it hurted like hell, like burning up inside. When they finally removed it, they said they may have to put it back on again, and I said no way, I'd rather have a meteor fall from the sky and hit me (which is strange because there was really a meteor shower that night). Then this nurse came holding lots of little glass syringes, and I knew that was more anesthesia for the doctor to inject during the operation. I asked what were they going to do to me - they didn't want to tell me at first but I insisted. They said they are going to cut my whole leg open and look for cancer. I said no thanks and left. Later I saw my whole leg was bruised and the veins were black and blue and sticking out because of what they did, but I knew it was going to get better. Most of my dreams are first-person. I can't remember any dreams with me seeing myself, but I sometimes get third-person dreams where I watch other people, like in a movie. Sometime the perspectives blend - I could be watching someone and at the same time BE that someone :S
As for lucid dreaming - I do occasionally get dreams where I know I'm dreaming. But even though I know I should be able to control them, I have trouble doing so. Pretty much like in Real Life ::)

I think I've had
one lucid dream, when I was still little, and AFAIK did something that was impossible in real life. However, I don't know if that was the initial setup or the dream or because I thought it up deliberately. I DID know I was in a dream though. ;)
When I'm in a dream and realize it's a dream, I usually try to fly or teleport myself to places. Flying is the easiest, teleporting is harder, and manifesting things is nearly impossible to do :-\
When I was little I had this dream where I was walking to class, then I thought to myself "heck, it's my dream! why am I walking when I can just teleport myself there?" and I did. I guess if that was truly a lucid dream, I would have thought of someplace better to go to :P
I was bouncing, with my bouncy ball, higher than normally possible. And since I only had the one, I never got the chance to think about other means of transportation besides the bouncy ball. ;-D
I used to have a few lucid dreams when I was a kid. I forget how I could tell it was a dream and not real. It wasn't by logic because somehow I would make up these crazy things to have things make sense. It's like, "Wait a sec, I thought you moved and switched schools 2 years ago? Oh, you never left and that was really your twin? Gotcha. :)" Heh, it's like being drunk.
I think it's when something extremely improbable or even impossible happens in the dream. All of a sudden it's like, wtf that can't happen in real life! And it's like you can manipulate your surroundings with a thought or the blink of an eye. XD
I can tell when I'm dreaming, and change things to the way I want them(most of the time). I rarely have nightmares because of it(when I do, I'm usually very ill, or something horrible happend in RL).
On rare occasions do I realize something is a dream...and when that happens, even on rarer occasions do I try to change it!
Last night, had one:
I was helping my sister and parents pack her school stuff. We left to head to her school to move her in, and on the way, my brother calls. He's needing some type of information that my dad can't help with since we're on the road. Then it changes to all of us walking on a path in the woods (more like a trail in a state park or something) and everyone looks like the comic strip Beetle Bailey :P

On very rare occasions I too have a night when I can't really sleep, but that just means I'll have no problems falling asleep the next day/night/evening. :D

Sometimes even when I know I'm dreaming, things that are impossible or illogical or that are simply not true IRL don't seem strange to me at all.
I dreamt I won a TV on the lottery, and I had to go get it on the same day otherwise I lose it, but my aunt didn't want to take me to pick it up :( so I was looking at maps to try and get to that place.I told my aunt about it - she said I should buy a lottery ticket :P
ok this is gonna be quite a long entry i think. one of the drams i had last ight is still vivid...it actually scared me.
right it started that i was dropped off in liverpool near the radio city tower(alex u will know what im talking about) it actually used to be a revolving restaurant...so i we get inside and as soon as we get inside the actual restaurant, 350 feet above liverpool a loud cranking noise is heard and the restaurant stops tunring. its then lifted up and we are all inside. the whole tower is rolled through the city and ends up ong the grass of liverpool uni (hahaha) somehow we actualy manage to get out of it alive and our desperately running around the trying to get out. its actually being attacked by a gaint godzilla thing, infact the number of godzillas kept changing from one to about 3, and so did its form.
then it all stopped. no more monsters, just fire and water and the city centre was destroyed.
so we managed to find a nice posh restaurant to eat...at a time of panic and death just eat!
then alex's present could now fly and its laughter was sent to kill me, so i smashed its voice with a hammer.
then i was back in the city centre, only this time with the whole of my school...we were doing the register and in my form i was at the top. looks like the people before me hadnt made it back :S
i kept trying to ring mum but the lines were down and i was panicing trying to get out of the city in a cab with friends but then the tunnel had been smashed.
then it i think everything stopped and rebuilding took like 5 mins.
then i was back at school at a prom...a girl i hate had got prom queen (not that we do that in our school) but yeh i stole her crown and ran off with dionne, HA.
but the dream realy frightend me. i think gettin the uni bit in, and the school is kinda my worriedness at the mo about results 2moro :S
Wow, Kimmie. Been a long time since I've had a dream THAT vivid.
I had one last night where I was Princess Amelia (from Princess Diaries). Anyway, I had found my "prince" and, yeah, we got married. Next thing we know, we're walking through our castle and we're told that our castle has been "sold" and we have to move to our second castle. Which, of course, we were upset about, because we were about to get settled.
Anyway, corny dream :P

It's good! Although, my dream had nothing to do with the movie except for who I was. Like I said in the movie thread, it was good, just corny in a couple of places. And guess what, Julie Andrews sang! Ok, so it didn't sound like how she used to be able to sing...but she SANG!

I finally managed to drop off at 4 Am last night and then woke up at 9:30 lol. Don't think I dreamt about anything in pericular, although theres this nagging thing at the back of my ehad that said I did...
actually the bag was quite funny thinking about it...flying round and laughing. quite disturbing.

well the weird thing was it wasnt the yellow bag itself it had its laugh but it was a metallic ball with its face...so in a way it wasnt the bag...but it was ;B
In other words, it wasn't the gift which specifically gave you nightmares...just your mind TRYING to make the gift scary.
I order to increase the posting on this thread - a nice trick for remembering your dreams:
Put a glass of water next to your bed, drink half of it before you go to sleep and the rest right after you wake up.
It's never worked for me... but then I always forget to drink from the glass in the morning :P

I was in a beauty contest (pfft, show's it was a dream), but both men and women competed. Anyway, we sit down to lunch (funny, b/c pagent contestants don't look like they eat) and I'm sitting with a hot guy and Usher (who I don't think I've ever listened to). I start humming a song and stop. Then the guy starts to sing it. I join in and when we finish, Usher gave us a huge complement.
So, yeah...that was my dream.
omg i had a dream about usher the other week for no reason what so ever...maybe he is going inside all our dreams somehow- maybe he has leanrt mind control or something! :o
my dream was something about escaping down a scary river, gettin traped in a very claustrophobic prison with small gaps to squeeze thru, trying to escape via a roof, stabbing a bald security guard and painting a wall with pictures of flower and oceans with just the magic of my hand...then dancing to gravel pitt with julie...how random

I dreamed I was racing in one of those tubular playground things but it was turned into an Olympic sport or something... that was quite fun! ;) Then after that I bought 21 used gameboy advance games for seven bucks. XD

Had several dreams lately...I've figured that I'm not supposed to get engaged, as two of my dreams have included my fiance dying...
I also had one last night that was a kinda Beauty and the Beast dream...but it was a cross with something else...I'll let you know once I figure out what that something else is! :P
Cat, it's very superstitious to think that dreams are telling you your future. I mean, I suppose it's plausible that some do. But, more than that, they usually are clues as to what our subconscious is thinking (which is basically a summary of all but two theories on what dreams really are). (We had a whole unit on dreams in psych--it's the only one I really paid attention to :P)
If I had to guess about the dreams with your fiance dying, I'd say that you subconscious is afraid that you won't ever get married. Unless you were the cause of your fiance's death in both cases, then I'd guess that your subconscious wants you to be a lonely, mean spinster forever. :D
I had a really bizarre dream the other day: some of my RL friends and I time traveled to Nazi Germany. Via a treadmill, which I'm still a little confused about.
Anyhow, once we got there, we were being chased by a bunch of Nazis who looked like Punisher (from Marvel comics) except that they had red swastikas on their chests instead of a white skull. Because I'm blonde and have blue eyes AND speak Italian (Mussolini was an ally of Hitler's), they weren't going after me but I was having to protect all my friends.
Eventually we got back home, but we left somebody behind. The weird part is, it wasn't someone I've ever heard of in RL, but in the dream I was very concerned about it. :-\
The part of me being afraid I will never get married...that's a valid argument...and very plausable. No, I didn't cause my fiance's death in either dream...one was in a plane crash as he was trying to save all of us on the plane (of course, he was the only one who died)...the second was set back in the wild west and he was building a cabin before he came back and married me--and the cabin collapsed on him. So while I was "there," I don't THINK I caused either one :P
Yeah, see, it's not hard to get the "you're afraid you won't get married" thing out of that. I mean, that's not even in the latent content...that's right there in the open! It might also be that you're afraid people will/are driven away by doing stuff for you, but that's not as likely.

I've head instances when I woke up and my limbs were still paralysed yes, but I don't recall it being in the middle of a dream (but then again, that doesn't mean anything as such).
This morning, I scrambled for a piece of paper and something to write on it so I wouldn't forget my derams, and ofcourse, now I don't need the paper. I only remember the thing that was happening the instant I woke up though, maybe a bit before, so the dream I was having must have just started when I woke up, even though I know dreams don't last long in seconds.
Some background for the first one: when I go on holiday, I always take paper and pen with me to keep some sort of diary. I keep that some sort of diary at home too, but I've got a pc there, that one's not on a daily bases, whilst the one on holiday is.[/background]So, in that dream I realized I had forgotten to log a day in my diary when on holiday and (it being the next day) I had totally forgotten what had happened that day! :o :X
In the second dream for some reason I was being equipped with undercover-type microphones, of which three were being 'installed' into my mouth. After a while the person that was 'mounting' them said they had been sufficiently 'glued' to the bottom of my mouth (I don't know what it's called, I'm not a medic) and so they all left. But then, as I moved my tongue around, I felt one of it coming loose, and thus I wriggled it out. And just as I was wriggling out the second one... I woke up!
Otay, I had a dream that I remember, mostly anyway.
I was working as a file clerk... except that for some reason I was working in my old pediatrician's office. And they were interviewing people for a new position, and reviewing resumes, and I was eavesdropping. And the interviewees were all just saying and writing really bizarre and/or idiotic stuff, and I was trying to keep quiet and not laugh.
Then for some reason the interviewing went late into the night, and I got caught up listening and stayed the whole time, so my mom had to pick me up. And for some reason, one of my mom's friends' kids was also still at the office (albeit a lot younger than she is now), and also needed to be picked up. And furthermore, my mom had seen fit to bring the other kid's two siblings and the siblings' two friends with her. And she was driving a Volkswagon Beetle. (Which my mom has never driven...)
So we smushed all of us into the car, and tried to drive off... only to find my mom couldn't handle the car with that many people in it. (Well, duh.) So we drove to the nearest pay phone we could see, and called for a taxi to drive half of us home. And then I woke up.
Wow, what a pointless dream.

When i was younger :-\, i had dreams where Count Dracula from Sesame Street tried to kill me :'(
Anywayz so i would be trying to make a sausage roll, then one of the humans from Sesame Street would say "thats awful try again" :P. Then i would be sucked through this door and inside, Count Dracula would start counting and chasing me around :-\. Then he would fly up into the air :-\, and then come back down and eat me :'(!

I had that dream when i was 5 :-\, and i had that same dream over and over very often :-\.

lol...Alex and I were talking this morning and he mentioned working on composing some music. That reminded me about a dream I had last night.
I was in clinic and for some reason, Alex was my client (*sigh--too bad we have a rule against dating clients*). Anyway, we have to set up goals and objectives for our client. One of Alex's and my goals was that he would have to complete one song during the semester.
Of course, my supervisor was wanting to make sure that he was making progress, so every few weeks, she'd want to hear more of the recording. There was one problem...the song that Alex decided he was wanting to work on, he hadn't touched in probably a couple months. And, of course, my supervisior was going to grade me on how much progress Alex was making...so I was scared to death that I'd fail clinic!
The only nightmare I've ever had, that had to do with TV, was about ET.
In my nightmare, he had large sharp fangs, and crawled thru air vents. :-\

I've had a few nightmares about TV shows and movies, but the only ones that stick into my head right now are ones about t-rexes and raptors terrorizing my city after watching Jurassic Park. ;P

Terribly strange dream last night.
Only thing I really remember really is that I was out on like the patio of a pub or something and I was having lunch with someone. Then they said to me, "A cop's just right there." and he pointed to his left. I replied with, "Well, I don't give a f***."
Immediately after that, the cop shot me in the head. I could feel the pain as the bullet entered the right side of my head and feel it progress quickly to the left side. The pain stopped when the bullet finished passing through my head, while taking chunks of my skull and brain. I slumped over dead to the right of where I was sitting.
I didn't wake up right away after, though... I was still concious in my dead body, and could see people looking at me while I was slumped over. I don't remember much else.
It was weird, weird, weird. :S

I was walking to the "food court" in the mall where I work at 1:00 this afternoon and all of a sudden, I was overcome with this HORRIBLE fear that it was Thursday and I had a class I was supposed to be in. I was thinking "I'm supposed to be in class, and I'm here at work! How could I have made a mistake like that??"

And, IIRC, I also had a dream long ago when I was going to school to take an exam, only to find out I had studied the wrong course. :-X

I know three summers ago (was it three summers ago :o :o time flies!) I dreamed about this guy a couple of times...we worked together with another girl. Because he and I were flirting back and forth, I told both him and our co-worker about the dreams. The girl said, "two dreams is fine...three or more is an obsession."...yeah, I didn't tell them about the other two I had about him that summer! :P

Weird dreams eh?
Not that any of you particularly care but I keep on having dreams about disasters affecting Britain and somehow I get involved in all of them!
1) I dreamt that I saw an airliner go completely out of control and crash in a nearby field, flames were absolutely everywhere and I was telling everyone to duck as sheets of red hot metal and burning turbine engines were falling from the sky!
2) I once dreamt that something terrible was about to happen and that everyone I knew was being forced to sit outside on grandstands in the middle of nowhere to await their doom! I remember that me and a few of my friends decided to "b***er" that prospect so we hid underneath a large flight of concrete stairs inside a run down building hoping that we would live.
3) One particularly horrifying dream I had was that I was hiding inside a top secret government lab as I was a spy. There were these sinister looking people with attack dogs and they proceeded to sniff out and savegly kill my fellow spy collegue. I ran like hell out of the compound and then I found out that some disease had struck the whole of Britain and everyone was after the few non-infected people left (I.E me and a South African friend of mine.)
4) I once remember having a dream about being around when a building was on fire in the middle of the night. A few scruffy looking youths were caught and if I hung around I too would be arressted! However, a young lady went up to me and said "stick with me, you'll be alright" and that was it!
5) Finally, my most recent dream involved the disasterous floods in Boscastle village in Cornwall (I was there when it was actually flooding out so I have distinct memories of it). I was stuck up on one of the high cliffs surrounding the harbour in the middle of the night. Floodwater had cut me off from going down the cliff and it was p***ing down with rain and the winds were howling away. That really was quite a worrying dream.
So there you have it, I am the new profit of death; predicting doom wherever I set foot! :o

Never. Of course, when I wake up, moving isn't exactly my top priority :-\
I do occasionally wake up to find one of my hands is still asleep, and have to bash it on the bed a few times to get the circulation going... most unpleasant :(
Sometimes when i wake up i have a dislocated toe :-\, then a few days later it will be back in place :S

Haven't had a dream in a long time... so I'll write one I had a while ago.
I was on a bus, sitting by the window. Someone was reading the paper next to me, and that bothered me for some reason so I turned my back to him and laid down on my seat and that bothered me also because it was crowded and I was pushing him and I wanted to watch a movie on my cellphone.
Then this kid crawled under my seat and started looking through my bag and playing with it, so I grabbed him and held him upside down and yelled at him "Keep that up, and I'll beat you up like you've never been beaten in your life!".
Then I went to the back of the bus to buy a sandwich. I had sandwiches in my bag, but they were squashed and disgusting. I felt like everybody's looking at me and are mad at me because of what I've done to that kid. When I got to the back of the bus to the women selling sandwiches and drinks [just to clarify - food and drinks aren't really sold on buses here] I gave her 2 shekels because I thought that was the price, but she said it was 3. I saw some money lying around on the floor and wanted to pick it up, but I felt bad about taking it because I thought maybe the the vendor dropped it.
There were two girls sitting there - one was white, the other was black and had an afro. The one sitting the farthest handed me a blade, that looked like a scalpel but was square and sharp on both sides, and wanted me to give it to the other girl. I reached out for it, but she grabbed my hand, pulled me to her and squeezed my fist tight around the blade, so it cut me but her as well. It didn't hurt but I got annoyed because they both started laughing at me. I tried pulling my hand back and couldn't. Finally I managed to take the blade away from her with my teeth, than took it with my other hand and meant to cut her, but she grabbed my other arm as well so I bit her hand hard and woke up to find I was biting my pillow.
Weird and pointless... like most of my dreams ::)
I had one last night that I was trying to send a letter to someone...and I pulled a Weasley and had stamps all over the envelope except for where the addy was!
All I can remember from last night it had something do with with my keyring slicing its way through cloth(es). I know where I picked that up too, since there was a hole in my pants pocket and my keys on the keyring were tangled up in the edges of that hole. ::)

Oddly, that dream was AFTER I sent him an e-mail, though it was late. :-\
I only have regret filled dreams. Anyone else have dreams like that? ???
(to be honest, Id rather have nightmares about the standard 3-headed, multi-limbed, multi-toothed, hero lunchin, beastie chasing me... Atleast I darn well know what to do in those dreams... run like a madman ;) )

Had a few dreams last night. One was probably between five and ten seconds long, but comforting. In fact, I thought, "why did I have to wake up right after the first couple sentences? I needed to hear it." Of course, I woke up at about 3:20 or 3:30 this morning after that one and couldn't really sleep. The second one I remember was nice and long...interesting...maybe not comforting, but enjoyable.

Dream Number 1: all I remember of it was looking at the clock and seeing it was 6:00. I thought, "good, lay here for 30 or 45 minutes, then I'll get up." Don't know whether I was awake at that time or not. I continue to lay there, not feeling well at all...just a ton of things on my mind, thinking "when can I get up?" So I look at the clock...and it's 1:15! So much for almost time to get up. I laid in bed a solid two hours feeling sick, feeling burdened, and just wanting to make a phone call...
Dream Number 2: kinda weird: trying to catch a train with my dad, but all the stations were like Exits on the Interstate. Woke up at 4:00 with that one...
Dream Number 3: occured over and over between 4:00 and 6:00...it just kept going "give it up, give it up" :(

A recent dream I had was kinda weird... I dreamt that my family lived in the slums, I was delivering donuts while dressed as a clown, and afterwards my dad was trying to teach me how to be a cocaine dealer... :-\
I guess I stepped into an alternate universe when I dreamed that one.... my dad's family actually did live in the slums but he managed to scrape his way up to being in the middle class. If he didn't... I guess things would have been a lot worse... :-\

Recently, I had a dream about yadayadayada* then I was walking in the parking lot with my brother. He walked around this ugly, cheap-looking car. I walked ON TOP of it! I left a HUGE dent in the car, and it looked unusable. I was doing the owner a favor. He should get a better car...stupid tin can was in my way.... :P Thats when the dream ended. Had ANOTHER dream last night. Actually had several. One was weird as in we were driving in a "speed trap" and they wanted you to go 55 MPH going up a hill, but wanted you to go 40 by the time you reached the bottom of the hill. There were about six hills all in a row, and the police were at the bottom of each on, pulling people over who were going 41.
Then there was the really interesting one. Or maybe Erik would find it disturbing. I'm not sure. Granted, it couldn't be worse than *cough*red leather*cough* ;) :P
I'm beginning to think I'm the only one having dreams these days ::)
Three from last night (how I remember these, I don't know):
1. I was talking to about five guys from my old high school, and they were refusing to tell me why they had tormented me and decided to make my high school experience as miserable as it was. (In RL, hs wasn't as bad as my dream made it out to be).
2. First day of classes. I was in one class, and the professor was asking us questions that we had learned in my major several years back. Then she wouldn't let us out early, so she made us sit and read the chapters. Next thing I know, it's 1:45...and my next class started at 1:30. I literally have to run across campus to make it to class. (Did I? Don't remember. Woke up before I found out)
3. A couple friends drove up to see me at 5:30 one morning to take me out to breakfast before my 9:30 class. The fact that they had to drive HOURS to take me out wasn't really taken into account in the dream. But one of them had a sprained ankle. Then we ended up in my town (which is over an hour from school) trying to find something to eat XD
had a weird dream the other night, actually all my dreams have been weird but i was just reminded about this one when thinkin what i am gonna do 2moro.
i was in a cemetery and i was doing a dance over a relatives grave (odd yes) and i was by myself. i decided to leave and on my way out an old man/ghost (not sure) said to me i hate it when people take pictures of angel tombstones so i actually told him to sod off and ran away.

When I went to bed last night, I was thinking about Bomberman games, and when I woke up in the morning, I was thinking about bomberman games. I also think I dreamed about thinking about/playing bomberman games, which is really weird considering my random thought patterns... :S
Well, my dreams have become few and far between the last few nights. I guess Erik was right when he said that to keep from dreaming, go to bed around 2 am (2:30 when you shoot an email off to someone at 2:00) XD
I had a dream last night that my school was made of Jell-O. Very strange. We weren't allowed to eat it, either. :(

Well, I didn't taste it (I was being good, no idea what was wrong with me) so I can't say. Different areas were different colors though. The bathrooms were black (I've never seen black Jell-O before, but it was probably from all the smoke :P) and the social studies wing was red, for example.

Okay.... I just now had a very strange dream about a pet that doubles as replenishable food...
I dreamt that a friend and I bought a pet in a tank from this weird robot and it looked sullen, so we asked the robot when it was last fed. Turned out to be two weeks. So we fed it a whole bunch and it was happy! But then for some reason my dad cut it up and it turned into pickles and told us to eat it, so I reluctantly ate the pickles until they were all gone, and somehow the pet regenerated in a different form. This time I was resolved to keep it the way it was but various people kept snatching it from the tak (it needed water to breathe) and claimed it was a baby or something though it clearly looked like a weird green fish with odd features. I managed to get it back into the tank and safe, but when I got it back to my family my sister (who wasn't really my sister but some retarded hick with brain disease or something) demanded to cut it up though I insisted it was alive and should be treated nicely. But no matter how much I tried to protect it, she somehow cut it up into pickles again.
Then I had a weird dream as I was waking up which involved the strange hick sister being absorbed by the pet somehow and me saying "How do you like it now??".
Very very strange.....
.....pickles? ??? What, your pet couldn't turn into something that's actually edible? :P
I think they were bread and butter pickles...

Last night I had lots of weird dreams involving unicorns (I have no idea why) and stuff breaking (again, no idea why). I don't remember any specifically thuogh.
See, unless I write up anything/everything about my dream when I acutally manage to wake up during one (which doesn't happen very much), I forget everything about it in the next 24 hours tops. And there's nothing that can bring those back. :-X

Had a weirdish dream last night. YumYum and Koko both got out of the house, but I was able to get YumYum back pretty quickly, but Koko disappearred. While looking for him, there were baboons in the front yard who were making a racket. Just as we get them to leave...the dream changes to me being on a space ship in the middle of Stargate SG-1. We (I'm Major Carter) are trying to get rid of some attacking aliens...in the process, O'Neil is "killed" (though, somehow, I know he's going to come back), as well as someone else. Then the alarm went off...
A couple days ago i dreamt that I was being tied up and thrown to the ground. I kept on trying to get up and call for help but something kept me pinned to the ground. The next thing i remember is waking up and seeing myself totaly tied up on the ground with my blankets and my pillow on top of my head :P
Now yesterday i dreamt I found the girl of my dreams and as soon as I was going to really talk to her I wake up to the sound of the garbage truck passing my house XD

IIRC, I was at a gathering with said girl of
my dreams but I had to go somewhere and I took my bike and public transport. However, I must've taken another route back because then I ended up at home, and my bike was still at the other place, but it was too late to go and get it, because I had to go to work the following day.
My sleeping room is sufficiently far away from the road and my sleep is deep enough I don't wake up from things happening

Well, my most recent dream was last night. I was a friend of Clark Kent's (a.k.a. Superman) and we were trying to get away from Lex. So he kept flying me around. Clark's mom pretty much caught us (she didn't know he could fly) as we were trying to escape. He practically begged her to not hold us back and to trust him. Yeah, it was pretty cool being flown above the trees...even if it was just a dream. :P

I had a dream that my brother cut my leg off with a pair of very sharp gardening shears. And the shears cut nicely through the bone and there was no blood, but my leg just kind of flopped off and bounced, as though it were rubber or something...He cut it off for no particular reason. It was cut off right before the knee and that was the strangest dream I've had for a while... :P

I had this dream not to long ago about a Nazi who was turned into a cute, cuddly kitty. Apparently, this was done so he could learn how to be a good person - kind of like The Shaggy Dog, only more stupid. XD
My favorite dream of all time:
Our Girl Scout troop had a meeting in our leader's basement. "Make sure you keep your shoes on," one of the girls told me. I wondered why, so I took my shoes off. Everybody glared at me, but suddenly, the back wall of the house opened up to a setting sun shining against several rolling hills. All at once, I knew what to do. I turned around and ran as fast as I could into the hills. I jumped into the air and flew toward the sunlight. Everything was very vivid at this point; I actually felt weightless as I passed over the hills. It was wonderful! :pleased:

So, it was almost entirely comprised of things people say around me regularly, so that makes sense. Except it was just me and this kid I had hung out with today.
But, anyways, he was upset over something (I forget what) and I was trying to be comforting, and I was doing the whole back-arm rub that people do (but I usually don't., I usually try to make them laugh.) Then he like turned his head really fast to look at me and there was this moment of sexual tension (bizarre, since there has never been any of that between us...) and then he says "Your eyes are really blue."
And, the dumb part, I go "Thanks. It's cause I'm wearing blue." And I hold up my arm next to my eye...and my sleeve is white with the tiniest white stripe on it. WHAT?

The other day, I had a dream that was just FILLED with chocolate chip cookies. ;D
Last night I had a dream that I was in a game I have been playing. I think it may be a sign that Im playing the game to much. And I am possitive I had no controll. But that probably comes with time. I dont think I have ever controlled one of my dreams except maybe to wake up out of it. hmmmmm........ ???
I had one that woke me up this morning. I was at the family reunion this year, held at my aunt's house (which it WAS held there, but I didn't go)...but instead of where her house was located, it was here in the mountains. And, towards the end of the dream, we looked up in the sky and saw a fierce storm coming...a snow storm...on the 4th of July. So we get ready to run back into the house, but some neighbors said they had a storm shelter, so we climbed into that...and I was the last person to go down into it and tried to close the door. Then, when I looked around the basement, it was huge, and I'm walking around, calling to everyone, but can't find them. I turn this corner and I see a bricked-in room with the door closed, but as I call to them, trying to figure out if that's where everyone is...I wake up.
I had a really weird one...I was helping my family clean out a room for my brothers to move into. There was all kinds of junk in there, like broken up ketchup bottles. (I figured someone was eating hot dogs in there)
So, I was getting tired, but I pushed myself, and finished. It was late by then. So, I went into my room, heard a crazy old man rambling about the good old days, asked him to be quiet, turned on the fan...but then I remembered that we threw that fan away in real life. (somehow, I didn't realize it was a dream though) So I turned on a different, existant fan, got in my bed, pulled up the covers, and woke up.
And now I'm dead tired. :sleepy:

i was t my house and i had just woken up. i walked over to my desk and saw a copy of guitar hero 2. when i went downstairs to play it, i noticed a ps3. i stood there with my mouth open until my dad came downstairs and pushed me over. then a ninja came through the window and broke my ps3. so i played guitar hero 2 to calm me down. in the middle of the song, the guy in the game came out of the tv and hit me with a guitar. then i woke up. ;D
I had a dream I was in KFC waiting in a long line to place my order, and they were charging $20 to get a free movie with the meal. Unfortunately it was compulsory to buy a movie with your meal and it was a movie of their choice.

I had these dreams towards the end of the summer wherein I was back in high school or elementary school... only I was myself now in my body from then... so I knew everything I know now.
The one where I was back in elementary school was really weird, because I remember I was thinking, "Wait, this is awesome: I'm a college sophomore stuck in elementary school... I can blow off my classes, still get all A's, and on top of all that I'll know things before they happen"
...then the teacher Miss McDowell, who was pretty much the most awesome elementary school teacher I ever had, said, "All right, it's time for our history test." Then, I realized that I didn't have any idea what the test was over... and the dream went all melty as I tried to remember the test... then I woke up.
The ones in HS were pretty much just me in class thinking "I really don't want to go through this again."
I had a weird dream the other night...there was this guy named Raf. (Not THAT Raf. XD )
He had an older brother who was a HUGE jerk. However, he wasn't Raf's real older brother, he was really an evil alien sent to earth to torture Raf for some reason...
So anyway, during a heated game of Monopoly, the bullying gets really bad, and Raf snaps. He jumped out the kitchen window. (MY kitchen window :P ) The alien followed him in some sort of UFO\UPS Truck thingy, and was going to push him into the river or something, but Raf defeated him somehow.
Then he found his real brother and told Uncle (Don't ask, I just know that he wasn't my uncle) the whole story. I woke up in the middle of the recap. XD
duirng robotics i remembered that i had a dream about a year ago of exactly what happened that day.
I had a dream I was rich with two daughters in their mid-teens. I felt sorry for myself. :P

Hey, it's DD with ANOTHER NEW THREAD! I think that a thread of this kind was made already, but I'm not sure, so here it goes! This threade is for posting of dreams you may have had. I have had many strange dreams lately, all revolving the Wii in some way... I had one where I was at EB Games getting Twilight Princess, and walking out, on my way to target's, and then walked back in and asked whether or not they had any Wiis. It was very, very strange. Then I had one just last night in which I was at an EB Games (I think to buy the Wii. Not sure...) And walked over to an Island shelf thing, and moved around it until I found Wii merchandise. Like SD Cards, extra Wii-Motes, Nunchuks, carrying cases and the like. Weird.... I'm not even getting the Wii at EB Games! I'm getting it at Target on launch day! How strange is that? I've had many, many weird dreams, and some of them have even inspired me... The wonders of dreams...

What? I finally had a dream I was able to remember when I woke up! It's a rather strange one though, and by the time I wrote it down I already forgot at least one detail.
Right, so I'm driving with my snazzy car in a tunnel and suddenly I've lost both of my front lights (which have to be on in that long a tunnel). Now, there's no lane in that tunnel where you can park a malfunctioning car. However, there are small 'pockets' where you can do just that so I park my car in the nearest 'pocket'. Once there I notice I have a flat tyre too. Not uncommon with my snazzy tires, they tend to loose air quite easily, even though there's no hole in them. Anyway, suddenly, I find myself walking towards the group of people I've been spending summer holidays with the past years, and my car is in a lane leading to that location. As I walk through the group, towards the building they're in front of, I pass the leader and quickly tell him there's a problem with my car. Once inside I ask the person at the counter if they have a telephone I can use to phone someone to get my car's lights and tyre fixed. Because you see, just as in RL, my mobile phone card is pre-paid and really isn't that much 'funded' anymore (I generally only send SMS's with it) . However, the person at the counter says they don't have a phone but points in a direction saying they may have a phone there. I walk that way but I can't see anyone to ask if they have a phone. I go back and suddenly they tell me they've got Skype on their computer and I can use it. I follow them to their computer and put in the headset (wow, cool headset! :D) as they turn on the computer. How strange, I seem to hear someone on the other end even though the pc hasn't fully booted yet. Apparently, all calls from that computer have to pass some kind of 'operator', and this one doesn't seem to want to patch me through to an auto mobile club of which I'm a member that can repair cars. With no other means of contact, it seems I will have to try my cell phone. However, usually when I phone them, they ask a few questions to check I am the owner of the car I'm reporting I need assistance for. But this time, they don't ask those questions! I ask the correct address of where I am (which is also strange because if I'm with that group on holiday I already know the address) and relay that to the person on the other end of the line. Wow, that was a short call! For some reason I go back to the Skype-computer and notice it's been shut down so I boot it up again. Don't quite remember the conversation I had with the operator this time but I suppose it wasn't a very friendly one. ::) Now this event might have taken place before my second talk with the Skype-operator as I can't really recall the proper order of events at this time either. Since it's no use waiting for an auto repair mechanic and I'm this close to my holiday location I decide to get my suitcases out of the trunk of my car. However, as I walk that lane I keep walking and walking, and I can't find my car again! :o
hmm... I too had a peculiar dream last night... though it wasn't as detailed... I was at my grandmother's in Nashville and just about everyone was there... in my dream, I thought everyone, but several family members actually weren't... Anyway, I went out the front door and this car drives up into the yard with two young children and an older guy (in the back with the little kids) and an older girl who was driving (the older two could have been teenagers... anyway) I was about to ask my dad or grandmother who they were and why I'd never seen them before... and then I woke up...
In my dreams lately I get arrested for usually no reason. One of my mates does something stupid and BANG... I'm arrested.
I dream about IM'ing people. XD I need a life. :P
Last dream I had was about meeting famous people (Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick) whom I haven't met(yet).

I had a dream about flying to an airport in Europe where I was supposed to get a connecting flight to New Zealand, but then I realized I wasn't supposed to be going to New Zealand for another month, and so they wouldn't let me on the connecting flight.
I think my unconsciousness (don't think that's the word I'm looking for?) is worrying a bit about flying halfway around the world in a few months (I've only been on a plane once in my life) :P
Yeah, I don't like flying....But I'm sure it'll be fine, and you're going to have an amazing experience being there! :)

ATM, though, I'm more apprehensive about flying to Los Angeles, because I have to schedule my own flight and get to LAX on my own. Once there, we meet up with the entire class and our professors.

I had a dream that Kelsey needed a Purple Potion, so I disguised myself is a bearded monk and snuck into the monastery of DOOM from Conquests of the Longbow to steal one for her.
Does that mean I was Robin Hood? XD
As for why a Purple Potion...you never know when a Purple Potion will come in handy. (Yes, I need to color those words. It was veeeeeery Purple.)

By the way, that's one of my favorite parts of a game EVER. I LOVE dressing as one of those "dark" monks in Conquests of the Longbow, with the foggy lake to cross to get to the ominous castle. There's just a great creepy mood to that part of the game :)

Bah! I'm shocked and appalled whenever a fellow KQ fan hasn't played Conquests of the Longbow! It's one of the best games Sierra ever made, I think!
I dreamt about Michael T. Weiss, a viral outbreak, Spore, a concert of Gym Class Heroes who actually weren't GCH but just a bunch of kids, and kids that had to swim underwater a lot in order to win something. One nearly died. :/ There was also something with vegetarians in a building, and it was scary (not the vegetarians, but stuff in the building). For some reason I have either nightmares or something very much like it, I never have happy dreams :(
