HI. I have played episodes 1 & 2 for Cognition on Steam. When I try to launch episode 3 it locks up my machine. I am unable to do anything but a hard shut down. Keyboard stops responding, mouse stops responding. I am able to successfully launch episode 4 but everytime I try to launch episode 3 my pc stops responding and I have to force it to shut down by holding the power button down. Please assist.
Make sure you aren't running any game tracking apps in the background like Raptr or game streaming apps. They have been known to interfere with the Unity engine. Also, try disabling your antivirus temporarily to see if that helps.
What video card do you have? Is it up to date?
