Title: So, Episode 5 is finished (future thread)
Post by: Justin64 on August 24, 2015, 07:20:10 PM
Now that Episode 5 is now finished.... now what? Will Phoenix Online Studios disolve? Will they continue to bask in the quality from releasing a very good game?

I for one, am very happy that the game's released, I enjoy it and I think it was worth waiting for episode 5

Have you seen their Stores of Games they Sell, they arent just making TSL you know.

After this, they are done with KQ but Phoenix Online will still make and sell their own Games

I think that the finale was quite good. It was interesting seeing all the small minor improvements that they did for each of the dream worlds. And that was an interesting twist towards the end. It's a shame that perhaps not as many people have played this episode due to the official series being released prior to this game, but still glad it got completed nonetheless.

Now that they have finally finished one of my favorite series I can look into trying some of their paid stuff :)

It wasn't what I wanted it to be! Boo! Zero stars!

Hehehehe! ;)

Frankly, I liked it a lot! I'm glad I waited, and good to see that my worries were unfounded. Great job, you guys! :)

I wanted to like it, but not enough characters died, and their death scenes just weren't gory enough.

I particularly liked the part where Valanice decided to run off with what's-his-name and that Cassima decided to tag along with them . . .

Chances are I'm going to like it more than TOG's KQ. As I've said before, my loyalty in the KQ franchise has always been to the fans' creations, rather than the canon games themselves.

I still don't understand the story about how Mordack was resurrected when King Graham turned himself into rain water to put his fire out? Can you explain this?

Throughout the history of this forum, few have pestered the team as much as you have. Don't you have something better to do with your time?

I'm tempted to make an Undertale reference with the last thing you said there, but I doubt you'd get it. Besides, I'd most likely sound like I'm parroting you.

Yeah, I doubt I'd get it. I'm not an RPG kinda guy.

I'm still waiting for beernutts to review the final episode. :suffer:

Cez's voice acting was brilliant for the surprise character!

Hey, I'm glad you liked it. We found that when he said certain words, it activated an ASMR response, so we HAD to put him in for that otherworldly feel. ^_^

I was worried that people would complain about the sheer amount of pumpkin in this final chapter but it looks like nobody noticed?

For the last time GrahamRocks, if you don't know what something is, Google search it. It's not that hard.

I'm still waiting for beernutts to review the final episode. :suffer:

It won't happen, because according to him, it'll never come out.

So, GrahamRocks, did you like what you found out about ASMR? Because I wish I hadn't looked it up. It's so creepy.

Has anyone found the Corridor 9 easter egg yet?

Here's a hint: You may have to use the Brain action with Hole-In-The-Wall a few times before it triggers.

You know there is a much easier and simpler way of doing that ?? Just press [CTRL] + [ALT] + [X] and some white suited dude comes at your aid and does it all for you. Surely you must've heared the music in Corridor 8 when you swam through it . . . ;)

I'm tempted to make a Corridor 7: Alien Invasion reference, but I doubt anyone will get it.
