Since 4 out of the 8 bride-wanna-bes are dead(one killed by Connor no less, guess he doesn't really love HER. I know that's not the issue here, but still...), and one is a pop-up person, who just comes on demand, does whatever you ask and smiles and...hey I want that!! (ok Connor move aside, this one is mine. Oh sorry King Alexander, I forgot it was already yours. But aren't you supposed to belong to Cassima and be wholeheartedly consecrated to her? No mistresses in these games! Give me that! Let's see how do you work this thing.... I hope it's not the same one as in KQ V...)

...anyway, Malicia is a kid and Connor would be pretty old before she'd be ready for that and the thought of a love child between Connor and Hagatha just turns my stomach, so I guess I vote for the Ice queen for him. He gets his own empire, just like he wanted. She gets to pester someone all the time, just like she wanted, and we get to enjoy everlasting pain for Connor just like we want. Everybody's happy.

Hahha forget about who's dead, if I were to consider that, then Connor would be too (since I never played MoE  :suffer:).  

Consider all the women to be in their beginning of the game living state... or whatever state Medusa and Swamp Witch are.  XD

BTW, I picked Swamp Witch, she seems like a perfect match for Connor.  ;P

well if we are breaking the rules of death and crossing over boundaries such as intermarriage between humans and genies, I guess the proposal of Connor marrying the three witches with only one eye in KQ IV isn't out ot line, then. Wait a minute.... if we lose our depth perception when losing one eye, i.e. have two dimensional vision, what happens when a twodimensional figure has only one eye...to SHARE?? They only see lines? Vector vision?

Too wierd!

Although your avatar and Connor would do wonderfully together, you are not a villain, and are so out of the picture. Besides, I saw the way your eyes twinkled behind those shades together with your guy! ;-D Oh don't even try to deny your love for Mr. Snowman. You SAY you took his head off right after that pic was taken but I think you melted his heart with osculations.

After reading all of Zero-G's posts so far today, I think I need to worship him as well as Questie. <3

Perhaps you should have seen his 'after' picture... if I ever get to show as much 'love' to Connor as I did to that snowman, I'd definately quallify as a villian worthy of the above poll ;)

We have a saying in Sweden: "Love sometimes begins with a fight". You know that you might actually come to love Connor for who he is and not hate him for what he's done. By the way, I think he was kind of infatuated with one of the girls in MoE's Daventry, so he's actually taken.

He tried, and suceeded(or so I'm told).

KQ8 is the only KQ that I haven't finished  :-[  I bought the game two years ago and even with the official stratergy guide I only got halfway through the game.

Somehow KQ8 does not have the 'look and feel' of the previous KQ games.

I'm STILL trying to find a copy. I think I'm going to have to order it online.  :(

P.S. For those wondering why I'm trying to find it in a store, and not online, it's because of the taxes. It costs money to import(anywhere outside Texas) almost anything.

I know that the only way that I beat MOE was through the cheats! :P  I have no ability to beat bad guys on a game w/o dieing first (or at least losing most of my life!).

I completely understand where your coming from Louisiana.  Living in Australia, even though we don't have to pay taxes for ordering things from outside Australia, the money conversion is what gets us.  I spent $50 for KQ-8 and the stratergy guide, however considering the fact that at the time US55c = $1AU, the game (including shipping and handling) cost me $90, which is more expensive than buying the game brand new on the shelf  :'(

Pwincess, I think you've got it worse than me. I'm just trying to save a few dollars, it's not NEAR that bad.

I must have spent a small fortune on eBay last summer because I bought KQ3-8 and QFG2-5 all in their original boxes and most were still shrink wrapped and smelling brand new (reminded me of that 'new car' smell).  I had to wait for two months before they all arrived, with a game arriving every 2-3 days in the snail mail.

There don't seem to be many Aussies at Hero6 either...  I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Quest for Glory and King's Quest were not as heavily marketed in Australian in comparison to the US and other places around the world.

I played all the original QFG and most of the KQ's....  ;)

Oh, so 2 from Brisbane, 1 from Canberra and 1 from Adelaide... We're all spread out!  :)

Oooh!  Which was your favourite and least favourite Quest for Glory game?

Fav QFG was QFG1 VGA! OMG I loved it!
Least was probably 5... it just didn't have the same feeling as the others... but that's been debated hundreds of times before.

QFGI and QFGIV are my favourite games of all time!  On the other hand, QFGV was my least favourite, however I still believe that is was a pretty good game, and would have been a lot better if they had used 2D graphics...

How long ago did you find out about KQ9?  As a visitor, KQ9 looks as though is going to be absolutely amazing and in par with the rest of the KQ series.

I found KQ9 a long time ago, but never got around to joining the forum or anything until about 4-5 months ago.
Now I'mdoing everything for Cesar... 3d this, 3d that... etc...
