I'm having trouble controlling the game what button does what, i'm using a pc laptop

Hi, charliebirds,

The start of the game has a tutorial which should teach you the basics. Use WASD to move.
You can also access a controls guide by pressing Esc key and clicking Options then Controls.
I've included a screenshot of that page to save you some time.
