I dunno. Seeing as how women tend to be belittled if they don't pluck their eyebrows thin, I think it would be fair to expect men to do the same. ;)

Ok but I know from experience that it just does't look good and is not appreciated by others to have your eyebrows all gone. I took one eyebrow off of one of my friends(yes he's still my friend) just to see what it looked like(he was out cold at the time due to sleep induced by intoxication). It really looked weird and he thought the same when he woke up. He took the other one off(and hit me rather hard) and drew eyebrows on till they had grown back out(about 6 months later).

Oh and on the subject of shaving peoples eyebrows up, my old best mate got his shaven off (not by me) at my hellish house party a few years ago where enough stuff got broken. Anyway it served him right the stupid a******, he pretty much ignored me for months after that.
I think it makes people look like living skulls!!

Seriously, I have pretty bushy eyebrows. (Go look at my pic. I'll wait (http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/attachments/haircut.jpg).) I shave the bridge of my nose to prevent unibrow, but that's it. Even if I had the patience or fortitude to pluck my brows, I wouldn't even know where to start. :P

i pluck the stragelers, u know those ones that grow at the side, in the middle on the top...the out of place ones. i suppose i get pluck happy. my mirror has more eyebrow hairs than i do! ::)
If ya'll remember several posts I made during last semester, I pluck my eyebrows pretty often. I used to get them waxed, but they'd be too thin. If it gets too bad, I'll go have them done again, just to get it done quickly. But again, I usually pluck. I think I'm like Kimmie and get pluck happy.
Hee. Yeah, that's why I never know where to start. All the beauty books usually say to just pluck the stray ones, except that my eyebrow hairs are all pretty much in a normal shape/area/spot... there just happens to be a lot of them. ;P

I started with having them waxed. After a couple of times, I found out how much I like actually being there, so I let them grow until they're JUST right. From there, I pluck the strays.
And, FYI, I find having my eyebrows waxed extremely relaxing. The last time I got them waxed, I just about fell asleep!

i had dracula brows...like my dad. they had points at the top...that was like year 8 or 9...then linzi came along and plucked them for me. then i carried on.

I trust Alex! The fact that most of us would end up with a unibrow if we didn't pluck/wax...does that mean we can't trust each other? I think that if they KEEP the unibrow, then we shouldn't trust them :P
