Post by: Oldbushie on December 05, 2004, 11:25:23 PM
When will the kitty smiley be added anyway? ;) Ah well, I had fun making it.  ;D

I <3 the kitty smiley.  But I'm assuming if it gets added, we will need to wait until the next forum update.

I think the übermod had already made it perfectly clear it would never be added? Yours was the first one in my signature, wasn't it? ;) I think the rolling one was Mango's, but I could always be mixing those two up. I mix up things alot, it's one of my main features. ;D

Yah, the first one's mine. :D

I'm not too good at animating pictures yet. ;)

I can understand why the second one would never be added though. ;)

It looks like it belongs in the movie Gremlins. ;) Way too wiggly. ;P Still fine, but I can see how some people might be slightly disturbed. ;)

I kind of like it. Kind of a ROFL smiley. It just doesn't have the same style as the other smileys.

Right now it's plotting on how to scratch someone's eyes out and then how to go out kill a bird and eat it and then cough up the dead bird and a hairball on your couch and carpet.

The fur... and the fact that you cant really depend on a cat to save your life one day  :P

If a (short-haired, can't speak on behalf of long-haired ones )cat is let out regularly, the fur that will 'left' inside will be minimal. Cats are very clean animals, even with their fur, you know.
Not wanting to sound morbid or negative  in any way, but for lonely people, having a cat around might prevent them from developing suicidal ideas so in that perspective it's saving their life. I'm not saying you're lonely, but I'm talking in general. Besides that, I think the number of pets saving their master's life is very low, whatever type they may be. ;B

I believe the word you're looking for is 'discourage'. :scholar:
Anyhoo, dogs in the house can cause just as much, if not more 'litter' than cats. And if they're outside, all they can do is bark. PS: your average thief isn't there to kill you, just take whatever posessions (s)he can take in the least possible time. The fact your locks are not easy to pick can make a thief flee to(o?). 8)

101% of the time it's the human´s fault  :P
(possibly the owner´s too)

Those BIG kitties aren't usually kept as pets at home and anyway, if you go and seek them out in the wild, I consider it your own fault if you get hurt in the process. :X

You can't expect a young child to know it needs to be careful around dogs. Also, to take of the extra 1%, owners of dogs aren't always aware (although they should be) of the fact young children do things to dogs (and probably LITTLE cats too, but they tend to to run away when they don't like it) adults don't, and thus might cause reactions of the dog that wouldn't occur normally. :-\

It was a good debate while it lasted. And just so you know, I don't have enough debating skills to make my discussion partner change his mind, just as someone else most probably won't have enough debating skills to change my conviction on certain topic too. 8)

You left out the word 'black', that's a very important part of my identity, since it allows me to change into a black panther when the need arises. 8)
