Hi
I've heard that TSL part I has approximately 25 cutscenes or so in it. I was wondering if there's more gametime spent in the game's cutscenes than there is in actual "playtime", like, will there be cutscene time than actual gameplay time?
I don't quite understand your question... Gameplay time is unbounded. ???
Though I'm not on the team, I'm fairly sure that we will spend more time exploring and solving puzzles than sitting, watching cutscenes. :P
I've always imagined that the cutscenes will look a lot like Syberia's.
You can always watch the "Making Of" video from Computer Gaming World to get an idea of what the games cutscenes will look like. I believe they haven't been finalized yet, however.
to answer the question, there's approximetely 45 minutes of cutscenes in Shadows (without counting in-game sequences). And no, you actually play more than what you watch cutscenes. The game's huge :)
And that's correct, none of the cutscenes in the "Making of" were complete. The game's cutscenes will look like the scenes featured in the trailer.

If there are 45 minutes in Shadows, all of the cutscenes will take something like 2 hours...(since Shadows is the longest) :-\
I thought "The Two That Are One" was longest.
To be honest, I have no idea :P That was just a guess on my part.
The Two That Are One is the longest, IIRC.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves! We still don't have Shadows! :)

is that a bad thing? :)
And yes, The Two that Are One is by far the longest.
OKay! A spoiler! Yay! so we won't entirely :suffer:, but with Yonkey in charge of the spoilers most of the time, it seems likely that we will :suffer:!

Actually, it's not. :suffer: The length of each part was mentioned almost a year ago, and possibly in press interviews as well. How did you think Rosella and TribeHasSpoken already knew the answer? :P
We have inside info. :P
The only inside info I have is in Bandai... No really, I have a contact in bandai! :P
