After playing for just ebout every second of my free time, I've gotten to Halloween Town in 2 days. :P
Also, when Kairi goes to Twilight Town, I went there immediately, despite the fact that the monsters were way too powerful. XD I killed myself about 3 times in that Sandlot battle. :P I wanted my plot point!! XD
the combat system in the first one uses skill and reflexes. its not so in the second one. :(

No it doesn't. :P The combat system in KH1 is VERY easy. Press x, run around when there isn't anything more to fight, etc. In KH2, there's that triangle reaction button that TOTALLY makes the boss battles more in-depth and skillful. I'd like to see YOU beating [insert boss name here] without using triangle. ;P There are so many instances where you NEED to look at the screen, pay attention, have quick reflexes, and generally have skill, unlike in KH1. Also, in KH2, you can't use cure magic as often, making skill a necessity.

I hate game companies... And you just gave a spoiler for me! I guess I'll just have to  :suffer: with it!

Epic game. I'm not even through with it yet, but it is an epic. Totally unexpected plot twists, and you never know what's going to happen next. The villains are devious, apathethic, and just generally evil.
This game is a classic, as is the series itself in general and I hope they make more KH games. A dream of mine is that one day we'd see a King's Quest meets KH game.....

Hell yeah...I mean...Imagine Sora having to aid Graham to rid Daventry of it's ills...It'd be so cool. Or the Organization XIII meets the Black Cloak Society  ;D

Did you know that the Beast in KH1 and 2 is voiced by Robby Benson, the same voice of Alexander in KQ6? :P

Really? Who would'a thought! His voice sounds so different in KQ6! I am playing the first one, am really surprised how that's possible!

If you watch the last scenes of Beauty and the Beast in which the Beast becomes a prince again, you'll definitely hear the resemblance.  ;)
technicaly, the dusk at the beginning is a boss.  i could kill him while sleeping and have my finger continuously hitting the x button. :P
I just started the first game myself, after hearing César rant about how good KH2 is. ;)

Michael, you know what I'm talking about. The ACTUAL bosses are impossible to beat without skill. And don't say the Dusk is an actual boss because it's as common as a regular Heartless.

Easy solution to beating just about any boss: don't get hit. ;)

That didn't work in the Jara... errr.. I mean, yeah, you're right Aaron. ;P

Okay, don't look your opponent in the eye either.

I finished the first KH in under a week, and am well into KH2. I am going to be going to the
Pride Lands
soon!

My sister says that I am almost done with the game, but we'll see.
I liked Roxas while he lasted. He was a cool character I thought!
These spoiler tags are cool! I just learned how to do them!

i actually tried this and i did it!!  i killed saix only using the x button!!

That's also a bad example because he's mostly a thwack-to-death boss. :P
I'm talking about like, the dude when you beat Beast's Castle the second time around or a number of other bosses. Besides, just because you can beat bosses with just X doesn't make the battle system worse than the original.
Go dark-dav! XD
Are you on your first visit to the Pride Lands? If so, you have a looooooooong way to go. :P
Guess what? I beat KH2 on Sunday! ;D

I'm on my first visit to
the pride lands!
You're probably right! I just haven't gotten out of the gummi ship yet!
I do miss the old flying thing though. I'm personally not a fan of this version, but there's nothing I can do!
The following is info from gamespot on the next KH! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Gamespot says that the creator of the Kingdom Hearts series is already thinking of the next one. But it will be neither a sequal nor an in-between (like Chain of Memories, which I have never played!), but instead entirely new! Who knows, maybe E3 will have some mention of it! If you want a link to the article, then you're in luck! http://www.gamespot.com/news/6146677.html?q=Kingdom%20Hearts (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6146677.html?q=Kingdom%20Hearts) I hope that this is good enough for you!
Well I finished the first one about two weeks ago, and now I'm playing through Chain of Memories. Can't wait for KH2, too bad I have to wait about 6 months. :-\

Don't feel bad Jason, I've had KH2 reserved since late January, and I still haven't been able to get it. >:(

If I could just get my mom to go pick it up wherever she reserved it Zelly will be a happy girl again!

On a side-note ie off-topic, Farq and I reserved FF VII AC today. ;D

I should definately be the queen of geekdom! XD

Me too! Hey, I have an idea! Why don't we just make a pettition, mail it to your house, and then your mom would give in! I'm first to sign!  :P

Good. And when you do, go and say thanks to your mom, who should maybe receive a late thanks for a late arrival! No offense or anything, if that did inflict offense!
