Well, I have most of the info I need. What I need help for is:
Screen Shots. I can get a few myself, but VERY little.
MOE info. I have this gave, but refuse to play it! Connor Sucks! (can you put a funny easter egg in KQ9 with him? Maybe falling off a cliff with sharp rocks at the bottom?)
Easter Eggs. I can get a few myself, but I know I miss them a lot.
Other funky things. such as screw ups in the game and whatnot. Again, can look for a few myself
And A side note: Can anyone with the KQ colletion 2 and XP get KQ 5 to work? I can't, and putting it in 256 color and 680 x 460 (or whatever it is) doesnt work for me. Can't get KQ6 to work eitehr, but I have the orginal CD, but Cant get the voices, but still playable.
I was real frustrated when I found out that one easter egg is only in a certain version of KQ5, the disk version. I have the CD version, so I wasn't able to enjoy the little "put cape over broken sled" egg. Has anybody done that one? ???
There are a few funny easter eggs in MOE, I haven't seen any of them personally but I think one of them has something to do with Connor being naked ;D

What Screenshots do you need?
I need screen shots from All 8 games. It doesn't have to be anything In particular, and bonus points if they exibit an easter egg (which will be places in the eater egg section, not with screen shots).

Augh! BIG problem! I'm trying to update my site, and I can't get into the FTP, my own site, or the site of my host! I hope nothigns REALLY wrong! That would suck ass! I have about 9 sites on that account! it takes forever to load it all! I have it all on backup (even all the old files of my first layout, though I only have the pictures of it in my archives), so I can load it back up if need be, but still!
And until this is sorted out, I'm going to work on the new site.
Phew, It came back up, maybe they were doing maintinance or something, but I updated my site.
Now I have to work more on the new site! I'm making progess little by little. Hopefully I'll have it up by the end of the month.

Anyway, I added some easter eggs and fun things to do for all the games...Progess is slow, but I'm getting there...
My next task is all those screwed up things, like How draculas cape got under granny's bed (we know how in the remake, not not in the original!) and other things of that nature.
Then, I'll look for walkthroughs and screenshots.
And after that, well, I'll wait until I get there. One thing at a time. I'm only one person, you know.

you solved your FTP problems?
Yeah, I guess my host had some server issues temorarily, I just couldnt see or get into my site at all. But it's fixed now ;)
nothing more scary than one server and several sites on it and plus a need of working on that and you cant, heh, that's REALLY annoying.
Yeah, it sucks BIGTIME. At least mmy files were unharmed, if someone tampered with them, I would have been PISSED.
well server issues are just that, it goes down and unable to get inside of it, and its mostly annoying its not supposed to be harmful! :) that would be like... heh, a real pain in the ass, to lost info or something, im glad you didnt.
sucks to pay up the fee to get backup back, IF your company provides it...
Well, I think they do offer backup plans, but I have ALL my files on my comp, and burn a back-up cd every few weeks. (Luckily, I did RIGHT BEFORE by other computer crashed last year, so my stuff was ok)
So I'm pretty safe if a hack on my server DOES happen, but I'd still be (natually) pissed about it.

My site sits on my university server... there's a link to the university page in my links page. Last year that server was down a lot, now it seems to be working OK. Or is it just the computer I'm using? :-/
Well, I got mail from my host, someone DID hack their servers, but My stuff is okay.
I remember my last years multimedia class, we have 3 different servers to hosat our files on, and it crashed multiple times. Our final projects never really got graded, since the server crashed before most could be reviewed. I had an AWSOME one too...I was a bunch of ladybugs, different colors, moving across the screen, fading in and out at different timings, and one was a blinking rainbow one..I had about 8 or 9 ladybugs in all, all comming in at different times too...I was AWSOME, all it needed was some music, and by the time i got the file in mind converted to the type the program supported, the server went down AGAIN. I was the best project I had done, and I would have put it on my site if it hadn't been lost in the crash.
If I EVER get my hands on a copy of Director 8 (i think thats what we used), I'd make it again.
And if you see my archive of past layouts, you might notice one has ladybugs...inpired by my project, and where the file would have ended up in the end.
Anyone know where I can get it?
Agh Director 8, thats a heavy program to work in.
the best interactive program for media is flash, light, easy as any vectorial program and quite flashy.
I worked with director 8 but seriously, its too complicated for media I believe.
I think I have that same one somewhere in a cd, but its too big to send, try to look over for it on kazaa or something.

Well, I looked online for it, and it's just a LITTLE bit pricy! Anyone know of a lesser program that does similar thing, I dont need ALL the featues, just basically the ones for making flash movies.
(about my ladybug project, the program let mefade in/out, follow a track (and rotate to follow that track), make something rotate the colors of the spectrum, and a bunch of ofther things like that. I need those to make my ladybug movie again)

Well, my search for a flash program isn't going to well, one I DID find cannot orient the object to rotate on the path, which is about 80% of the coolness of my ladybug project.
So I'm stuck! i REALLY want to make that movie again, it was my greatest ceration. I spent SOO much time to get it JUST right (it took about 20 minutes to actually do the WORK on it, but a long time to touch up)

Anyways, I got Flash MX the newest if your interested, I think a friend for it from some website for free Im going to ask him where he got it, and you could try to get some easy get started stuff on flash its seriously like any vectorial program, nothing difficult its just everything its a bit different how its shown (compared to director, yes) and once you get used to the actions scripts and basic animations situation I bet you can do that and more with it.

Well, I have a few more small thigns done. Hopefully I'll have the site opened by the end of the month. Pretty much everything is progressing, but I NEED MOE info. I know JACK about that game (though I do own it, but dont have the patience to deal with it for more than 5 minutes).

Well, I bought the domain name, but i have to wait until monday for hosting (the comapies hours dont include weekends, and but the time I got home from a meeting at work, they had closed for the weekend).

Well, it's an independent project, but I will post it on my site once I figure out how to get the export movies to work CORRECTLY, and after I work out the bugs (no pun intended!)

Well, I added 4 screenshots to every game (8 actually, but 1 of each is a thumbnail).
I have the domain bought and hosted. But I'm NOT giving away the address until I'm ready. Though It's getting close to finished, there is STILL a LOT of work I need to do (YOU try putting together a huge site like this! It isn't easy!)
Ladybugs are doing ok. I gave them today off from all that running around...
Does anyone have a program that can convert a Midi file to a wav file? My search online ends up in a sucky porgram that doesnt even DO what it should. I found the PERFECT music fo9r the ladybug movie, but Director doesnt support midi files...
The only way to do that is to record the auxilary (aka what's coming out of the speaker) for your computer.
If you're having trouble with that, which I did until recently (I wanted to put midis onto a cd and play em in a cdplayer) I'll convert it for you.
I can make it an mp3 if that's okay, since mp3s can be converted to wav files pretty easily.

Well, I can be either a mp3 file OR a wav, either one is supported. I WAS able to convert that file from oog to mp3, but THAT wersion had the words, The midi version is (obviously) less quality, but the sound itself fits better with the video.

The ladybugs movie is about as done as I'm willng to make it right now. I've been getting a few college acceptance letters, So I need to make some decisions. Also, about the site (for which this thread was made...), I'ts getting closer and closer to completion. I'm STILL looking for some decent MOE info, and I need some Book info. Other than that, it's pretty much good to go .
But I have to ask a question of you all, should I put a forum up too? I want to (depite that I have no know-how on doing so, but im a fast learner), but I won't bother if you think it won't be worthwile. Also, how do I go about "getting" one, if you all think it's a good idea?
